Simple, I can buy hagrids hut for the first time, and its wonderfull. He is enclosed have a real roof not paper. 😂 really loving it. They are people that just starting and want this product that is the reason why. The costumer makes the choice.
I wanted the last iteration but it was sold out. Now it's more expensive than the new one. I am happy we got a new version of the hut!
My only criticism is the dog house does not connect to the main build, which is gonna make it stick out like a sore thumb in my all-modular Forbidden Forest. I'll try using that pumpkin foundation to at least hook it to one of the side builds.
Great video!!! As a newer collector I'm so glad they keep making these 😅 Older versions can get expensive. And also techniques change, and in this case I like this new version more. Can't wait to buy it!!
The two most recent are both great, and since they depict different versions I don’t mind buying another
Great review! I agree that the newer version is way better looking. You can tell there are a lot more pieces in the wall to give it more color and texture variations. They did change the hut in the 3rd movie so that’s why the shapes are significantly different between the two. Keep up the great work!

I need me that mastiff, though it's interesting they made him brown and not grey. I feel like he was more grey than brown, and he was grey in the LEGO video games 🤷🏻♂
I don't have a Hagrid figure, so may have to pick this one up! plus the little norbert is so cool!
I can confirm this is the first ever Fang minifigure in Lego as well as a new torso for Hagrid. I have two of the previous Hagrid's Hut sets but not the last one. Will be getting the new one.
I know we all hate stickers, but I think a sticker would help with the look of the door.
Know what would help more? A print. Seems like people start to forget that back then every detail was a print. Nowadays they've become so greedy that they even supply you stickers on your very modestly priced 850 € UCS set. A bare minimum of effort is unachieveable for the most expensive producer of bricks. Gobricks has higher stone quality as well at a third of the price.
so the 2024 build is based off of the 1-2nd movies whereas the 2019 is based off of the 3-7 movie. i know that the 2019 one comes with norberts egg buuuuut the build is based off the 3-7 😁

I looked at the scene from the first film and the egg was in a pot on a hook over the fireplace, so the fireplace from hut 4 is pretty accurate.
Thank you for doing this! You changed my mind I was thinking of not getting this set because I have the last one and now the new set has become a MUST to add to the collection.
I thought I would be breaking this set down after building it too in favor of the other one, but I’ll be breaking that one down instead! I will add the pumpkin foliage and buckbeak to this new hagrids hut 🛖

Try checking the Rebrickable inventory for the latest items. They seem to hit there before BrickLink. Also, In the movies the shape and location of the hut changes. I think the new set is the first movies while the older set represents the last of the series. Nice review!

Great review Mrs Version, the sticker/printed on wood effect on the 2019 version was a little to glossy and ruined the effect, I also like how compact this one is, it feels cozy.
05:37 If TLG had used masonry bricks, they wouldn’t have been able to do a lot of the things they did on the inside. It’s not the biggest of builds and the walls are only one stud width thick so 🤔🤷😂
So if Lego has 5 of these now, would this be considered Lego Harry Potter's version of Luke's Landspeeder? I am not huge on Harry Potter but this set looks pretty cool. Another great review. Always enjoy watching your reviews.😀

I like the 2024 hagrid s hut because you can open and close it and plus I don’t like half build Lego like the hagrid shut in 2019 to me it was half a hut To me even our own houses or huts not half build. Other wise we humans would be so chilly at night and cold. That ‘s how I see the hagrid s hut 2019 version as. I don’t like the Snow White House cos it’s half build the front build but not the back not build I see this as. If we had a house like that we get cold. I think Lego should make house or huts an$ that that open and close but also Have a back and a front. To build that’s my advice for Lego and advice for. Lego in suggestions on improving it This hagrid hut version 2024 is the best they ever done And I love the doggie figurine. I wish that the owl c@style was a full build not a half one because real owl castle aren’t half build other wise the owls would be cold. . All builds should have a back and a front. That’s my advice
So glad I don't collect Star Wars or Harry Potter. They just keep remaking the same sets over and over again.
