Watching this really shows me how much I have missed coming to great Yarmouth during the pandemic I would've have been twice here on holiday and one of those holidays would've been last week for 18th birthday and to see the summer spectacular at the glorious hippodrome circus. I will be so happy when this is all over so I can come back to my all time favorite place that in the near future I want to live. Watching this made me quite emotional I've been coming here since I was like 3 and all these things are going to be in my heart forever

We have a wooden squirrel bowl just like the one in the upside-down house. Well spotted. We just keep trinkets in there. Also, I thought that I must not be British enough to recognize Alan Carr's laugh, despite 24 years of living here. Then you said Jimmy Carr (his brother, LOL) and, yes, I knew exactly what you meant.

6:38 I don't recall whether there was a ball pit, but all those moving floors look exactly as I remember ^_^
13:40 Indeed they did - one year I came off one of those slides with a very nasty burn on the back of my leg (fortunately, 'twas the last day of our holiday so didn't spoil things too much). Originally they were all stepped slides, but the last time we visited some of them had been replaced with a double helix pair of tube slides.
    20:33 I remember the Tyrolean Tubs ^.^
In fact, there were a number of things I recognised - impressive that they've lasted so long. ^_^

Where the Jurassic park ride is, I remember the boats and always wanted to go on them. Pretty sure there was a building between them and the log flume which looked like an old paddle steamer.
Also got stuck at the top of the sky drop once.
Does the Pleasure beach still have the snails that go under the roller coaster? There was a giant outside too.

Crikey! I'd forgotten about the paddle-steamer. Didn't there used to be rowing boats around there, too?
I remember being in a rowing boat on my own, with my Mum and Step-dad in another rowing boat, and I made my Mum laugh, because I kept having problems keeping my oars in place, and called out "I keep loosing my rowlocks" :-)

Did you know Britannia pier used to stick out in the sea in the 80s and early 90s though. You used to be able to fish off the end of the bit that's closed off now.

You say that the Britannia pier doesn't stick out to sea. It used to though, at least half of it was in the water. I think they bulldozed loads of sand onto the beach.
