Hello Tim, this place looks amazing. I have never heard of it and sadly I am now too old to enjoy it. You have obviously spent a lot of time in America. Your accent is English but you eat and request for your coffee like an American. Really enjoyed your video.
Just went to book this for a 3 night break. 2 adults 1 x 10 year old 1 x under 2. Nearly £1800. Out priced I'm affraid but defo not £150 a night more like £600
I holidayed at Potters as a child with my parents , uncles , aunts and grandparents , 60 years ago . We stayed in those little wooden sheds and had a great time . 40 years ago I took my children there and stayed in the chalets . Again we always had a wonderful time .Great food , lots to do and good accommodation . Its great to know that Potters continues to go from strength to strength . I cannot wait now to take my grandchildren for the complete British holiday experience .
Hey Tim! Thank you for coming to Potters Resort! I’m in the Potters Theatre Company and I’ve been watching your videos for a while now! Love the content! Thank you for the kind words! ✌🏻FD x
You can just see the difference between owners who take pride in their business and those who literally couldn't care less when you watch this video after seeing some of your Pontin's and worst hotel reviews. The whole atmosphere in this video just seems so much more lively and less depressing! What a lovely place.
It's clear the owners take a lot of pride in the resort. I think it being family run helps. Also nice to see you go to a holiday park and the activities are actually running! Makes a change from the usual abandoned go-kart course overgrown with weeds.
I live 4 miles down the road. Potters is magnificent, something for the East coast to be proud of. It has run for years, but, unlike others, the investment has been sustained from day one; it moves with the times and no corners are cut.
the best parts are when you go investigating the empty areas where there's no people lol it reminds me of being a kid and sneaking into the empty conference rooms and stuff
Hi Tim. You've done it again. You are definitely the champion of the British travel industry. You have presented me with yet another excellent place to visit. The standard at Potters looks 5-star. It would be nice if the other holiday resorts could lift their standards somewhere near. All-inclusive is a great option, so you know how much your week, or weekend will cost without worrying.
I am Canadian and I've only been in an all inclusive resort in Huatulco, Mexico and it was a very nice clean sea side resort, I loved it. I'd love to visit the whole U.K., this place looks great, I was disappointed you didn't tell how much you had to spend for all of this.
I'm British, 58, live in the South East of England and have NEVER heard of Potters! What?! If they ever want to boost their bookings, they need to do some advertising. But it did look great and had that cruise vibe in the restaurant. Another great vlog Tim
I had never heard of this place before watching your video, it's really impressive! Nice to see a holiday park being done right and nice to see you enjoying yourself. Your relief as you walked into the room was palpable. It's the little things: the hangers which mean you don't have to fiddle around hanging up your clothes, the sturdy wardrobes and drawers, matching furniture on the balcony, a clean piano kept in tune, no barbed wire around the perimeter(!) so you can just stroll onto the beach. Amazing. 😎
Absolutely gorgeous I am not a great lover of holiday parks, but this could be a exception. If only all the UK holiday parks were this brilliant. The first potters camp is better than most places. Great video Tim as always ☺️
Watched this video last year and booked straight away after watching it. We have just returned from a 3 night weekend and it was fantastic. Thank you Tim for introducing us to it.😊
Just got back from a four night stay, it really is a fantastic place. Great food, excellent entertainment, beautiful room. So much to do, little beach a stones throw away. The staff are so welcoming, the quizzes and games are good fun, everyone gets involved. I am definetly going back with my family next time.
What a beautiful holiday park! I also had cruise ship vibes in the dining room. I lived the indoor/ out door pool, thats a great idea. Plenty of activities, sports, table tennis, bowls. The room looked very comfortable, would love a bathroom like that.
Absolutely blown away by this ,didn't know the place existed !! Your vid's are infectious , precision photography ,well presented , keep 'em coming if you can ,5 Star stuff.

This is a great video Tim, a real eye opener. Didn't think there was anything this good in this country. Obviously a bit pricey but looks worth it. Cheers
Nice clean place with good foods and great shows. Cant wait to come over there myself now. Would love to see more of these kinda videos. This footage gives good insight for myself to make up my mind for our next Holiday getaways. Thx alot 😄
This is how all UK resorts should be. I’ve designed resorts and parks, and without exception, the fundamental ingredient is always the ethos of the owners, their values , together with the housekeeping leaders. They keep the place going// Disney do this impeccably.
I wouldn't normally consider paying that much or even booking an all-inclusive holiday in the UK. But after watching your amazingly detailed review I certainly would book there! Wow, what a high-standard resort Potters is, and only a 40-minute drive from my home in South Norfolk.
Wow?!?!..This resort is on another level surly!. I am from north of the border and but sadly have never heard of this place?..How is that?...100 yrs and in the same family!.. Who is responsible for the creative side?...Just incredible!... Great review?!?.. I would have loved a stay here forget about the kids?!?🤣🤣 All the best from an expat living in Thailand for the past decade..👍👍
I stayed here four years ago and yes it isn't the cheapest but in reality when you factor in all the entertainment and that includes all those pricey activities for the children you would normally be watching your purse for, the entertainment, the food and now all the drinks( that is only in the last two years I think) it is great value. To me it was one of the best holidays I'd had. The whole staffing team want to be there and seem to all live their jobs. It's clean and safe, you can get involved in everything or take yourself off to a quieter part of the resort. I visited in August during school holidays so it was busy but not rediculous. Great place for bigger families and multi generation families it seems. Many people go year on year and I can see why. It looks like it's changed since we visited last time. Hopefully we will return soon 👍
I'm at Broadland Sands Park Resorts this week and noticed Potters on the way up that same road as the holiday park. Looks nice from the outside, always wondered what it looked like from the inside, and you've answered my question. Looks absolutly amazing!
Love this potters vlog, looks am amazing place loads of room and plenty to do. Room looked fab too. We always watch the bowls from there. Mrs Potter we call her, wears a different coloured jacket with a flower every day, always sit on an end seat. Thanks for sharing Tim,see you Sunday, love to Gaby Holly and Casper 💞x
I suspect JP would be very pleased with your walk-round presentation Tim, even though you didn’t get a chipolata with your roast beef! 🤣 Just goes to show what a difference vision, belief, determination and reinvestment can make in the holiday industry! 👏👏👏
Hi Tim, been going to Potters for over 30 years now.. you pointed out the high ceilings in the Garden Bar.. that used to be the sports hall many years ago with a walk way between it and the bar (Was the Bamboo Bar). Heading back there next week. Great video! 👍👍
I've just booked a 4 night break for my wifes 60th after watching this, great vlog and a great place, looking forward to our stay, Thank you for loading this video, world class
@@wendycopcutt4891 And that is exactly why UK resorts have been struggling for years now. Decades. That is what so many have said to me when I've suggested they holiday in the UK to avoid Covid and travel difficulties - too expensive.
Great video Tim. Just goes to show that a success can be made of a holiday park and they need not decline into rack and ruin. Going to check out the prices now but I bet they are EXPENSIVE!! Many thanks. Fascinating.
This is incredible. I’m SO glad you did this! Like I’ve said before, we just don’t have places like this. I used to work in events and worked at a venue and I know how expensive things like AV and techs and camera, etc, all are, and I can’t believe they have shows like that every night! And that restaurant was incredible. AND I can’t believe alcohol was included! Alcohol is basically the thing that is never included in packages, or if it is it’s a “house white/red” and tap beer. Never spirits! It would be great if you’d add prices to these videos at the end. If not what you paid, then what the general prices are. I think if I’m ever lucky enough to visit the UK (I’d love to because my Dad was born and grew up there and I still have relatives there) I’ll stay at one of these holiday parks instead of a hotel. As long as I can book a good one 😉
Loved watching this. Was so great seeing you try a bit of what it has to offer. My last all inclusive holiday was Pakefield back in the day. That was quite a few years ago. I recommend all inclusive, just not many seem to do it. it seems to be half board or self catering. Nice seeing a couple of your fans. Great vlog Tim, thanks.
I stayed here a few years ago! Me and my partner went during the bowls week as it was cheaper, but it was excellent because it meant that all the activities had minimal or no queues so things like the quad bikes we got to go on a couple of times. I would definitely recommend
Nice! It's got the feel I like. The feeling that you could just grab a few of your favorite things, move them with you, and live in the room quite happily. Love the TH-cam button on the remote, since that's mostly what I watch.
Watching most of the videos of the worst holiday parks I was beginning to wonder if they were all like that in the UK. But no, this is like a cruise ship without the rolling ocean under you. Probably costs far more than the dumps we have seen, but as everyone says, you get what you pay for. Colin Very nice video Tim, as always.
@@iworkout6912 agree Colin mate can’t be cheap this place haha - think the dumps are few and far between but hard to believe they’re open to the public
Just got back from mine and partners first trip away at Potters. Was her 40th birthday present and had it coincide with our 15th year. If it wasn't for your channel I don't think I would have come across it. Thank you . Currently re watching some of your other vids get some ideas going for the year ahead. Keep up the good work
I have not been to Potters, but my Mum and Dad have been. My Dad was there in January for the World indoor bowls, with the indoor bowls club that he belong to here in Hull and I have spotted him in the crowd watching it live, whilst I 'm at home watch on the TV. My dad can't fault the rooms/chalets and food over the years, he as been going. The only time I got to see the resort was on the bus from Great Yarmouth to Lowestoft. My Dad bought my a baseball cap with Potter's leisure resort on it. Great video and have to try it out for myself. My dad should be back down there next January for the Bowls, which is on TH-cam and the BBC. Thank you for show us around.
Oh my gosh! I'm so old that I remember going to holiday parks in the late 70's/ early 80's where they still had those wooden chalets just like that one in the Potters museum hahaaa & you had to go to the toilet & shower blocks on the site. So nice to see xx
This was a blast from the past I used 2 work there & I always look back with fond memories it was a lovely place 2 work & such a nice family feeling, really great video 👏
That piano moment did make me chuckle….and by the way you should be on commission. I am taking my mum there when i return to the u.k and its all thanks to this vid. I didnt even know the place existed xxxx you are the man!
We go to Great yarmouth every year, and we play bowls. I got my partner to visit Potters for a look round, and the staff were really helpful and treated as if we were guests . He was impressed, but i still can't get him to go for a stay .... Am still working on it even the all inclusive and food won't sway him, and he loves his food 😅😅
Terrific tour, Tim. You hit the nail on the head when you said it was rather like a cruise ship. That was exactly my thought on seeing the various rooms. I can well appreciate why it has consistently best reviews. Thanks.
Nice change of pace for you Tim, a nice holiday park for a change! Looks fantastic (if you like this sort of thing), and I'm sure the price tag is equally fantastic to match, but hey, if I had the cash I'd definitely go there.
Wow, what an amazing place, gotta be honest, I’ve never heard of it and it’s only a couple of hours away. Very impressive. Great video Tim as usual, many thanks 😊
Brilliant example of a traditional business keeping up with the times and knocking it out of the ball park! Awesome place. Pontins and Butlins take note.
Have driven past this venue so many times over the years when I'm in Norfolk but had no idea it was so huge. Sadly, I shall have to keep driving by as I had a sneaky look at the prices! But as always, in life, you get what you pay for, and it does look fab. x J x
Great video & I am so impressed with the place. I'm showing my age when I say that having linen on the table at dinner is what makes the place look so smart.
I went on holiday to potters a long time ago, I don't remember what year it was but I was quite young, maybe I was about 9 (maybe it was 2013). However, I do remember that I was there for a karate competition that was held in the indoor boules hall (I competed but didn't make it far). I was in one of the chalets, and I remember that it was an amazing experience.
Potters aims for and achieves very high standards. Also provides employment for many local residents. I live very close to Potters and my house appears on the drone shots.
Looks like a lovely place, I have no interest in staying at a holiday park but these facilities would be fantastic as a health club, if you loved nearby and could come here for a gym/classes/food/swim/lounge, and go home again, that would be fantastic
Wow, so it can be done. A properly managed, excellent quality holiday park! It feels almost overwhelming with its size and amenities, just from watching your excellent video, Tim!
I like how the P logo is very similar to the H used with the Hilton hotel logo, same navy colour, circle/swirl design. Obviously trying to go for that luxury vibe. Good on ‘em!
This looks like a fun family getaway. It seems to really benefit from being family owned. Maybe the communities where the corporate owned, very rundown parks are should pursue some kind of franchising ownership of those properties. Get all the accommodations in good repair, employ locals to maintain the properties, community puts in some money to rehab and maintain in exchange for a guaranteed emergency accommodation for people displaced by house fires and such and ability to set up emergency kitchens, cooling/warming centers and clinics depending on what the community needs. This coming winter is going to be tough on a lot of people. Communities need to think about what resources they have and these places could be good if they were safe and not falling down.
Has changed out of all recognition since I worked there in the 80s !!!.......Nice bit of keyboard playing Tim by the way, but I wouldn’t give up the day job just yet !!!! 🎹🎹🎼😂😂😂
9ve been to Potters year in year out with my family of multi generations and partners included. It is quite truly remarkable how big a step up they are from the rest of the holiday park industry. When COVID hit was when they went all inclusive, but before food was still included in the price, just drinks had to be paid for. But now it’s included in the price it’s a great bonus! It also helps that the staff all seem to love what they do, and their retention of staff is amazing. After visiting for almost 10 years, the main entertainment crew has had minimal change, and main man Mark Brewer is always top notch, and having recently brought on board some new younger talent, Potters will stay ahead of the rest for a long time. It may be pricey, but it is worth it! Great video Tim, enjoyed watching a different perspective on a place I love!
Another hidden gem you've found for us Tim! Looks like a lovely resort with a lot do to. It is a shame this country doesn't always promote its own resorts especially like this one.

Reminds me of being on a cruise ship. Especially the way the main dining room works.
I suspect JP would be very pleased with your walk-round presentation Tim, even though you didn’t get a chipolata with your roast beef! 🤣 Just goes to show what a difference vision, belief, determination and reinvestment can make in the holiday industry! 👏👏👏
lol
Hi Tim. It looked amazing well worth the cost what ever it is. So spotless and clean. It looked like you 5 and 7 star hotels.
Hi Tim, been going to Potters for over 30 years now.. you pointed out the high ceilings in the Garden Bar.. that used to be the sports hall many years ago with a walk way between it and the bar (Was the Bamboo Bar). Heading back there next week. Great video! 👍👍
I've just booked a 4 night break for my wifes 60th after watching this, great vlog and a great place, looking forward to our stay, Thank you for loading this video, world class
if only I was on commission
This has certainly made me want to give Potter's a try. Looked a lovely, clean place and the food looked really good too. Thanks Tim.
You will not be disappointed, promise you ☺️
Me too
Just had a look for August 2022 Cost for a family of 4 would be £2456.00 for 4 nights. But they are all sold out.
Yikes, didn't realise it was that expensive. I can go to Austria half board in a 4 star hotel for a week for £700
@@wendycopcutt4891 And that is exactly why UK resorts have been struggling for years now. Decades. That is what so many have said to me when I've suggested they holiday in the UK to avoid Covid and travel difficulties - too expensive.
Stumbled across this video. Thank you Tim what a lovely holiday park and hands up to them for giving access ..to make your film.
Thanks Tony , hope u subbed
Great video Tim. Just goes to show that a success can be made of a holiday park and they need not decline into rack and ruin. Going to check out the prices now but I bet they are EXPENSIVE!! Many thanks. Fascinating.
thanks for watching Leighton
Booked a break here after seeing this, can't wait! Thank you for your informative videos x
Wow that place looks in another league to other holiday parks!!
I go to potters for new year and it is a lovely place to go and chill. Highly Recommended!!
This place looks amazing - great to see the good side of UK hospitality and accommodation
Watching most of the videos of the worst holiday parks I was beginning to wonder if they were all like that in the UK. But no, this is like a cruise ship without the rolling ocean under you. Probably costs far more than the dumps we have seen, but as everyone says, you get what you pay for. Colin
Very nice video Tim, as always.
lol
@@iworkout6912 agree Colin mate can’t be cheap this place haha - think the dumps are few and far between but hard to believe they’re open to the public
Just got back from mine and partners first trip away at Potters. Was her 40th birthday present and had it coincide with our 15th year. If it wasn't for your channel I don't think I would have come across it. Thank you . Currently re watching some of your other vids get some ideas going for the year ahead. Keep up the good work
This is a beautiful place Tim. It looks so relaxing. Lots of fun activities to enjoy. Great video Tim!! ☀️
This place looks so posh , lovely. Bet the price is a bit expensive but worth it. Very Nice indeed.
Oh my gosh! I'm so old that I remember going to holiday parks in the late 70's/ early 80's where they still had those wooden chalets just like that one in the Potters museum hahaaa & you had to go to the toilet & shower blocks on the site. So nice to see xx
I've never been to a resort. Absolutely blown away at this place. Really really impressed. I actually want to go there now. Well done 👍
This was a blast from the past I used 2 work there & I always look back with fond memories it was a lovely place 2 work & such a nice family feeling, really great video 👏
Wow. I have never heard of Potters but it looked amazing. Thank you for another great video Tim 😀
My pleasure!
Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it
Nice change of pace for you Tim, a nice holiday park for a change! Looks fantastic (if you like this sort of thing), and I'm sure the price tag is equally fantastic to match, but hey, if I had the cash I'd definitely go there.
We stayed there a few years ago I absolutely loved it lol staff make you feel so welcome, so much to do the food was amazing I’d love to go back again
Wow, what an amazing place, gotta be honest, I’ve never heard of it and it’s only a couple of hours away. Very impressive. Great video Tim as usual, many thanks 😊
It's where world bowls championship are held
Brilliant example of a traditional business keeping up with the times and knocking it out of the ball park! Awesome place. Pontins and Butlins take note.
I have had a number of Bowling holidays at Potters and i can honestly say that this Resort is certainly a FIVE STAR resort. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
This looks an amazing place. Love the street fair idea: Cheap, cheerful and you interact with people - what a great idea.
Brian Potters doing well since the Phoenix club 😆
Brilliant review Tim! We enjoy watching your videos, very informative & useful…. Would you be able to review Potters Five Lakes too? 👍
Another great tour Tim! I forgot about this resort it's great to see it up close.
Potters aims for and achieves very high standards. Also provides employment for many local residents. I live very close to Potters and my house appears on the drone shots.
Loved watching this my hubby, has taken coach loads here, and stayed in a little staff quarters xx
Looks like a lovely place, I have no interest in staying at a holiday park but these facilities would be fantastic as a health club, if you loved nearby and could come here for a gym/classes/food/swim/lounge, and go home again, that would be fantastic
Would like to see more of the bungalow accommodation as I’m booked in for a Christmas break 😊
Looks lovely, had been tempted by the place and this video is a great insight
What a fantastic holiday park , it looked so clean, the meal looked yummy. Thankyou for sharing x
Wow was watching this whilst cooking so I’ll re watch later so I can watch it thoroughly 🫶
Shame you missed out on this one Gaby maybe he'll treat you some day 😉 x
Been to potters and it is unbelievable. Great place but easy to put on a stone in a week. Love it and great review.
Wow, so it can be done. A properly managed, excellent quality holiday park! It feels almost overwhelming with its size and amenities, just from watching your excellent video, Tim!
yes it can and feels so good I'm not used to this lol
I’m Canadian and we have Yorkshire pudding all the time☺️ In fact my hubby had it tonight.
What an amazing looking place! Great video.. I want to go tomorrow 😀
You're right, we don't get Yorkshire pudding very often in the States but i love them so much I'm going to learn to make them.
Hello all at potters I am missing you all 😢. I was at potters on 3 July
Great video Tim, enjoyed watching a different perspective on a place I love!
thanks ben you are welcome
I've never heard of potters Tim so thanks for the info. Great channel tim 👍
Another hidden gem you've found for us Tim! Looks like a lovely resort with a lot do to. It is a shame this country doesn't always promote its own resorts especially like this one.
