- Join us as we head to Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach to experience all of the fantastic rides at this sea front amusement park! We will ride the major rides including the classic 1932 roller coaster POV. 2021 has seen many improvements to Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach including a complete overhaul of the snails and a brand new ride the NEW waltzers!
We also visit the Pleasure Beach Gardens and grab a coffee at the famous Sara Tea Rooms!

An excellent video Tim and Gaby. The Rollercoaster is one of my favourites in the UK. I love the Snails at Joyland. I've always called the Horses a Merry go Round.

Hope Gaby gets better soon. That 2nd drop on the coaster I always think I’m gonna hit the beams. Years ago they had a scary giant in front of the snails, that had a witch flying round. It use to scare me. The giant they have now is less scary. Great post Tim and Gaby

9.40 pm. Brought back memories stayed at Seashore Park with my late Mum and my daughter when she was about 14. Came into Yarmouth for day by bus(no car) Had great day. Decided to go on the log flume,ended up soaking all of us. Remember having to sit on the bus back to the park with soaking wet knickers!! Lol
That was lovely to watch. We were last there about 18 months ago so it was nice to see it again. Looking forward to riding the roller coaster again later this year, thanks for sharing🥰

Feels like so long now since I last went in there, it's definately intresting to see the changes (although I miss the dirty postcard murals that used to be on the funhouse walls) and see the new rides and in some cases the sad loss of others (RIP Moon Base Alpha and the most unique Go karts I'd ever driven), I definately need to go back when I'm next in town.

Carousels go anticlockwise while Gallopers turns clockwise.
Pleasurewood has a carousel. The one at Pleasure Beach is a galloper.

I used to work on travelling fun fairs and I've always been told is they are called gallopers as the horses look like they are galloping.

I haven't been there since around 1968-69 but I don't remember having to pay to get in. You had buy tickets from a booth for the rides but no entrance fee. Where's the wall of death? It used to be fairly close to the gate. The Roller Coaster brings back some fond memories. Good to see that only the colour seems to have changed. It looked like something out of the wild west in my day. That first drop - jeez...!

I used to love that roller coaster as a kid. The highlight of my holiday. Especially at night. Awh, it's the best. Nice to see you and Gaby having a second childhood 😀 The snails too, I remember it all.

I can understand the anxiety, I felt the same, but looking at the track and the "wheel rack" (don't know the proper term), it's not balanced on the track, but secured.
Haven't been to Gt. Yarmouth (but its now on my bucket list - Tim, you should claim some commission from the Gt.Yarmouth tourist board) but I used to ride the Maglev train from Birmingham International Airport to Birmingham International Rail Station, which literally floated / levitated above the track. Not secured in any way. Gaby would be 😱 Ride was totally smooth and almost silent.
Sadly because it was unique, the spare parts had to be specially made and Birmingham City Council decided after many years that maintenance costs were insupportable and closed the line. Of course now others (Musk!!!) are developing maglev trains as if they had invented them. 😡

I always remember the giant that moved in the pleasure beach , it was terrifying as a child , I think they also had one in Blackpool , my dad always called him giant coggins !

You guys need to go to DisneyWorld in Florida .... Can video all rides just no flash photography .... My favourite place on earth .... Everyone is so HAPPY ..... Been 21 times .... 2 weeks not enough ... 3 much better ... Great video .... Love it .... Gaby is so cute .... We are little girls and boys at heart ... I recommend a villa with pool .... Parks early morning .... Pool afternoon .... Parks evening ....

Some very cool rides, at Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach, have never been there or Great Yarmouth as well. My mum and dad told me in the past that they went to Great Yarmouth before I was born.

fun fact: there used to be an organ a couple years back, I remember it from when I was younger, however I think due to age or something like that it's been hidden and it's just a recording, unfortunate that it's gone, but hey at least there is similar music still.

That was fun Tim, much less scary watching on my laptop than going on the actual rides. It reminds me of when we went to Disneyland Paris there's some good rides there. I once went on the corkscrew at Alton Towers and that really took the sh** out of me it spins you upside down. Do you need to get permission to do those drone shots, they are amazing. Loved the video.

Maybe they take you outside in the Ghost train because your eyes get used to the darkness. By taking you outside you lose your 'night vision' and so don't see things as quickly thus providing more of a scare factor? Just an idea
