  • In this video I will show you a few tricks on how to remove or hide scratches on your car, but also I'll go over how you can permanently remove and fix light and deep car scratches in your clear coat by hand. I will show you what types of sand paper that is needed, the rubbing compound to use and again there is no need for a rotary polisher or a Dual Action or Random Orbital Polisher.

    This is top advice, thanks.
Btw, you can easily hide scratch marks on your furniture that the puppy makes by leaving a car in your living room.

I'm a single mom, and recently inherited my dads 1997 Chevy Z71 when he passed away. It's actually in pretty good shape, other than oxidation and pollen from sitting uncovered in the elements. I'm trying to restore and detail inside and out as much as I can on a budget. I've watched tons of videos, and yours by far is one of the most informative I've seen. I look forward to seeing more. Thank you.

I find that rubbing compound on a damp cloth (LIGHTLY) and removed with wet cloth asap followed by polishing compound works good. I do this after touch ups too. Always save any exterior parts you have replaced because you can practice on them:)

Thank you for these tips! I just watched a pervious video you made as well on sun damage to car paint making it fade, that you fixed making it more presentable. I have gladly shared both your videos and thumbs up! Least I can do for your hard work efforts. Beautiful little puppy you have certainly a cool distraction,. Do take care with his lunch, many people only feed them kibble, (hard biscuits) but kibble contains about 50% starch (sugar) which as you will know is cancer's favourite food, manufacturers don't mention the sugar content they know it puts people off buying it. However, various types of raw organic non GMO meat is best for dogs, some people add broccoli and sprouts to it as which is supposed to be nourishing. They call it the Ketogenic diet a way dogs ate when in the wild. There are videos on You Tube about it you might have already seen. We used to have dogs now we have cats and feed them on raw meat, also lightly cooked meats. They thrive on it. Occasionally we may give them cat biscuits and put raw egg yolk on it that they enjoy. Raw egg yolk contains protein and biscuits may help clean their teeth.
