I just love your channel. Horrible scratches and rub marks from the legs over the passenger side. I've been slowly working out the scratches with 3000 grit sandpaper and am about to move onto 5000 before doing the final compound and polish steps. This is like magic, everything in this video is almost too good to be true.
I promise it all works!
It is magic. Chrisfix is magical.
Yes, awesome!
Saying it's "Magic" is kinda taking away from how hard he worked doing this by hand. I just went out and bought the same exact products and did the hood on a car i'm flipping and that alone is a decent amount of work. I don't think anyone has said it yet but you're a hell of a hard worker to get these results.
@@mattm2684 Did the car start to shine? Is there more friction with compound than the polish?
I am considering to buy Ryobi Buffer to do a hard work, if it is able to rotate when using a compound.
The way Chris expresses his joy when something comes out looking good is so awesome, makes it an even better video!
Other people: *Use fancy products and high quality tools that cost hundreds of dollars and do it in a professional paint booth*
ChrisFix: *Actually walks you through the steps, uses inexpensive tools and products and does it at home and outside*

EvO xNike Chris’s method works great and very affordable but you’re not going to get showroom/show car results. That’s why the guys that use the higher quality and “fancy” products to get that “perfect” mirror finish and the show ready results many pay top dollar for.
@BKNY FINEST I think it's an all day project w/a dual action polisher as well... I'm surprised he didn't clay it but I guess when you go to town with all that compound, no need.

im still wondering if hes doing a voice over or if hes talking while doing everything since the mic quality is so good
I'm 99% sure that it is voice over in the final edit, but during the recording I guess he talks so the video matches with what he's saying
He does a voice over with his really good microphone is his office
He does both but his voice over is really spot on with his hand movements and what he’s doing
im laughing imagining Chris working on cars being totally silent and doing crazy hand movements just for the camera
I think he keeps the original audio in but has it set to a really low volume, if you watch some of his videos you can barely hear background noises like cars passing so unless he is adding sound effects in after I think he does both.

I watch a lot of detailing videos from the UK and US and I have to say that this is one of the best because you haven't used any fancy equipment like drill brushes and dual action polishers. You've used only grunt and hard work and a large dose of common sense. Respect.
this type of detail is good for older and cheaper cars, i would want some proper equipment for something new or fancy, not all the time, but once in a while at least

Then again it was also our first time, somebody with experience could’ve probably done it quicker. I bought an electric polisher for my other car, which did speed up the process, but the results weren’t as good.
