The reason people like watching you is that they don't get the opportunities to do what you do. Their living vicariously through you. Whether it be fishing, hiking, hunting, camping, living on the road, but mainly it's the Freedom you have. Being able to be who you want to be, do what you want to do, live how you want to live, and just be Free. That's what this Great Nation is all about, Being Free. Ya Mav, That's why you are liked. Be Blessed my friend, enjoy life so that others who can't can, at least through you. Have a Great day Maverick!
couldnt agree more. @Mav I saw you on Ace's channel and you seemed like a pretty chill dude. Id totally go fishing with you. Id rather watch this than any crap on television where people are more into their own image. Cheers bud.
@@rxtro561 Thanks Brother! I used to post my vids on FB when I was a trucker and all my friends lived vicariously thru me. It was very uplifting and fun to do as well. My motto is " To go out of your way to help at least one person a day"
One of my fondest memories in life was this very sound. I was a kid, trying to sleep in a cabin, on the eve of my very first tournament. I was so excited! All I heard was this sound, all night, as other campers drove in. I'll never forget it. As I get older and my health is failing, my mind goes back more and more to times like this. I'm so glad that someone else appreciates this sound as much as I.
I started fishing during this quarantine because i was bored and I absolutely fell in love. Also Bought a kayak. 22 years old and being from a city(nyc) It feels very nice to take a long drive up to the mountains and then lose connection with the world for a few hours.
There's great fishing from a kayak in Jamaica bay NYC. Flounder bluefish striped bass weakfish. You really should give it a try. Welcome to the world of fishing bro. It's the best hobby you can do your whole life. Good luck
I’m one of those aforementioned non-fishermen subscribers who’s here mainly for the “catch and cook” and the truck camping vids, this lifestyle is just so entertaining because for me it seems so therapeutic and cathartic! Much love from Aggieland, TX!👍 Keep up the vids!
It’s important to self-reflect and appreciate our experiences so that we learn from them and understand that goals are temporary, but the process of pursuing them is lifelong. Thanks for sharing your thought with us!
Bc you’re humble and open-minded and thoughtful with your actions. You’re simply a very like-able person, that’s why we watch you 😋. Thanks for sharing and keep being you 👍🏽.
I went fishing for the second time ever with my uncle about a week ago and he was impressed at the amount of fish types I knew from watching your channel. Keep up the great work👍
I watch ya to remind me of my younger self sleeping in the back of trucks, up at 4 am to duck hunt with my buddies in freezing weather, bass fishing in Mississippi, goose hunting in Canada, elk hunting in Colorado etc. You may not know it now, but someday you will treasure every memory. Rock on!
I’m amazed how wise you are at such a young age! One of the biggest reasons I fish is to learn & practice patience. Fishing has been such a lifeline for me in that regard. I’ve really been super driven for so long and I desperately needed a way to just SLOW IT DOWN.
I'm a 68 year old woman who grew up brook fishing for trout, catfish, salmon, perch, etc. What ever we have in Maine. Truly enjoy your fresh water videos, along with Ace's video, fisherman life and NW.
I like your channel because I like the outdoor life. I grew up fishing with my Dad. But when I got married my husband is not an outdoor person. The funny thing is our son didn’t like it either but my two girls and I love it. We lived near Yellowstone and the girls and I went camping all the time while they were growing up.
The fact that there was clapping for the man taking care of that tree and power line made me smile. Not a lot of people realize just how important those workers are. On another topic, this just makes me wanna camp, just in general, go into the mountains maybe a friend, fish and cook. So thank you for 1, getting that clapping on video, and 2 for doing what you do and being wholesome and doing what you love. You are amazing.
Your video remind me of the times I would go fishing with my grandpa. It’s wasn’t extreme, it was honest the same fish u would catch in this video. I don’t fish much anymore because he’s older now and it’s harder for him to get out and I don’t have many fishing buddies myself. I held a rod for the first time in years this past July when I went up to Minnesota to visit my aunts cabin. It was just off the dock w sunnies and bluegill to show, but man I missed it. Your content reminds me of the good and simple times. I’m honestly tempted to get a rod myself and starts fishing more
I watch your stuff because it’s a lot of the things I like to do. I also watch because of how honest and that you do really cool stuff. Even when you things don’t go as planned you do a good job of still making a really cool video. I dig it
Hey Mav, always stay in the vehicle when you see downed wires. Your tires will insulate you from being shocked or electrocuted. Especially if the wires are down on your truck! Stay safe buddy!
Mav we watch ya cause we love ya!! You make amazing content thats real and not click bait and full of garbage. You're a humble and kind person, don't ever stop being you man. You ever come around nebraska lets get some fishing and hunting goin!
Always love watching you my man. I live vicariously through you. Always wanted to go camping by myself. I feel like I never have the time. I’ll make time through. Thanks bro
hey Mav, loved the video!!! nice set up you have in the back of your truck, you are so lucky to be young, and knowing what you want out of life, stay chill, and be safe, thank you
I just love all the outdoorsy things you do. Camping, boating, fishing, outdoor cooking...all of it. I, too, am a lover of all things outdoors. I have a 20ft Airstream camper trailer and spent years telling my son he should take it to the beach and bum all summer when he was in high school and college. Nope, just wasn't his thing. I always feel like he missed out on a lot of life by not exploring the outdoors more. That said, to each his or her own life's journeys. I do like your videos because I relate in so many ways, fishing, boating, camping, cooking, new and different places to see and stay overnight. Seems it's a calling for some people. I know it is for me. Anyways, press on young man and enjoy your youth and your adventures. Be blessed and stay safe always.
Just be thankful you can go out to fish. I grew up with a cabin up near Miles Lacs but because my dad had Alzheimers we lost it. My grandpa and dad taught me to fish and how to clean them. My grandma taught me to cook them. I miss it so much. I dont have the money to have a boat and go fishing. Just remember you are lucky to have what you do. I love your videos to be able to imagine fishing. I live here in Mn too. I get it.
I don't fish but I enjoy watching it. Don't have the time. Definitely like watching on my down time that I have helps me relax and semi feel what it's like to live that way free from regular society way of life
Wow you say you don't know why people watch you. You then proceed to one of the best speeches I've heard. You can hear it in your voice you have something special, and this is the first video I've seen. Got a new sub here.
Hey Mavrik, I'm a 73 old lady from Phoenix, AZ binge watching all your videos! Not a fan of your ASMR eating of crunchie fish but I'm sure somebody is😁. What's a sock soda? And I would love to know what the red sauce is with the green top. Being from Phoenix, I have never liked snow or ice or cold so it's interesting seeing someone who thrives in that environment. I especially loved your beautiful video with your parents in the plane etc. Another big thumbs up was your adventures in Mexico, where I HAVE spent a lot of time. Yes, the people are so loving and you fit right in. My favorite buddy is Murray! Thanks for the good times! I found you from watching Steve Wallis and I found Hannah by watching you!
Living the dream, Mav. I'm not sure you know how good you've got it. No boss, no time clock to punch, no grumpy coworkers, no production/sales quotas to meet, and your young and healthy. Something for you to think about.
Thanks for making such videos ...we watch you because we cant do what you're doing brother .. you're basically living the life for us and making us feel the same... I'm from India btw...keep trucking brother ❤️🤘
My family would all be fisherman if my grandpa I never met was still around (my fathers dad). I really want to get into it. I did a little as a kid but it never took off. Your videos really make me want to get out there and try again so I can raise my kids to fish. Cheers mate. Keep it up.
Hey Mav. You said a lot of your viewers don't fish but still watch. I am 1 of those viewers. I do fish but I catch and release. I don't eat fish or any other water swimmers but after watching you for a while I would love to meet you and try what you cook. I would like to say your mom and dad did an awesome job raising suck a good young man. Keep up the good content and I'll keep 👍 your video's. KEEP ON TRUCKING!!!
I don't fish, never have in my life! Good to watch your videos as it's a sense of escapism! Not much fishing to be done here in city centre of Liverpool, England!
Aug 2020 watching your videos for the past three days new to your channel. Love seeing and listening to you. Being 66 I would fish as a teen catching carp with corn on the hook. You make me feel good, you have wonderful friends. I have not watched your videos in order so it is kind of nice bouncing from the latest to buying your truck....
Always stay in your car if a power line is laying on or near your car.
@James Fisher Being grounded in a vehicle is a huge misnomer for long time. Tires do not ground you. Distance does.

Omg I thought the exact thing when I watched.
it’s a telephone wire

You're a good man.
