Okay, I listened to this episode when it came out but tonight I decided to watch with friends. I love the time they put into these videos on top of it being a podcast. This is such a great show y’all got here. I got my entire friend group into ROTLP. These brothers are just the funniest! Their humor makes me wanna be best friends with them. Keep up the great work guys!
So this is maybe the fourth podcast I've watched on the channel (first was There Will Be Blood), and somewhere in the second I noticed you guys have similar teeth. Then the third I'm thinking, 'I wonder if they're brothers,' and now watching this one going HOLY SHIT, THEY'RE TWINS? Anyway, loving the content, it's really awesome to see long form film discussions that aren't pompous and it's just a couple guys that love cinema. This'll obviously be buried because this episode is so old, but SUBSCRIBED.
I really loved how they advanced Dracos character as the movies went on, because we see he was never really a villain he was just a kid who couldn't escape the ways of his father and was pressured into doing most of the things
I saw a video where it explained when we're following the trio throughout the battle of Hogwarts they're confronted by elements that sort of represent each of the movies. An example is the trio is running around and they're confronted by a troll just like the scene in the first one where they're trapped in the bathroom with the troll, then a mob of spiders pops up just like the spiders in chamber of secrets.
That's so interesting! Yea the book is even more descriptive with showing all elements from their past, for example Devil's Snare is in the battle in the book
I'm an avid reader and movie lover. The book is almost always better, not because the movies aren't good, but because reading leaves you to interpret the characters and their world. The Harry Potter movies were the first where the producers and directors matched perfectly the world I'd envisioned while reading the books.
LMFAO I was so angry when I didn't get my letter to Hogwarts. I started reading the books when I was 9. I was born when the second book came out but watched the first movie in theaters LOL Really has a special place in my heart.

I am blowing up this comment section but I am SO glad you guys said that the HP3 is like the setup for the darker movies, that is the EXACT reason why it is my favorite. Also because he sent Aunt Marge's ass flying.

You two should do a show about the movies you regret watching and the ones you knew were horrible in the first 15 minutes but you trudged through anyway.....or movies that were so bad, you just stopped watching

Daniel has been a very busy actor! He does a lot of theater as well as many independent films. Check out some of his recent films! Most go under the radar because they're small and low budget
I get the whole love of stronger then anything with mumma Wesley but I wish Neville could have the badass moment of killing Bellatrix and in a way defeating his voldermort

Exactly! Which is why he can't kill Dumbledore. He's a truly tragic character in the end. But Dumbledore recognizes his soul is not yet lost
