In film school, we went through how they filmed the space scenes and it was super similar to how Disney made their cartoons. The camera pointed downward, above several glass panels, each with a fraction of the scene on it. So incredible.
And it still holds up!

My favorite is revenge of the sith. I Still remember watching the anakin vs obi-wan fight in the theater and going home and reenacting the high ground scene with my friends

It’s not so much that Anakin should look old because he died old, but rather because the last time he was Anakin Skywalker was when he died. He stopped being Vader when he decided to save his son’s life, so his force ghost should, reasonably, reflect that by looking like Anakin at the moment of his death, albeit unscarred and with his arms and legs
Fun fact, R2D2 and C3PO were based on the two protagonist of hidden fortress, directed by kurosawa

I think the most iconic and influential thing about star wars is the movie posters. You know the multiple faces , characters and poses . Not only iconic in it of itself but is often imitated in various ways. I'd be interested in knowing who made those.

I read that the reason they froze Han was because Harrison Ford was unsure if he wanted to continue playing the character so Lucas froze him so that it could be open ended.
Harrison was actually trying to get killed off so I'm sure that possible or true!

2 episodes that have to be done is complete history of the MCU (lol like 3 parts) , and the Rocky Saga
This series has always been such a middle ground for me. I mean as I got older I actually became a little less attached from it maybe because I never bothered to take a look at the story in the background of the main story I.e republic vs old order etc because I always focused on the main sky walker story and the Jedi
I don’t want to sound like the toxic fan here, but I’m pretty sure that the reason that Vader was in cloud city was to freeze Luke and send him to the empower, but had to test it so he used Han and also to attract Luke, I think that’s why he tried to use the freeze chamber during their duel
So Vader went to cloud city because Boba Fett tracked the Millenium Falcon there. Luke was on Dagobah with Yoda training. Yes Darth's goal was to bring Luke to the Emperor and would have used the carbonite to do it. But he only went to Cloud City because that's where Hana and Leia went. In order to have Luke to come to cloud city, Darth tortured Han. He knew Luke would see this with the force, and Vader knew Luke would come to try and rescue them and fall into Vader's trap.

Boba doesn’t die so he doesn’t accidentally die since he’s in the madolorian which is after these movies
George Lucas killed Boba Fett in the Sarlacc Pit in Star wars. Has even been quoted saying something along the lines of, "I wouldn't have killed him if I knew he'd be so popular." Disney basically brought him back from the dead and pretended like he didn't die in the Sarlacc Pit to make money off the character.

I would recommend, starting with the phantom menace ( episode 4 ) then obviously 5, 6, rouge one,1, 2, 3 👌 don’t go into watching the second trilogy with negative opinions, there are definitely some questionable choices made, *cough cough jar jar*, but they’re good when you’re actually interested in the full story.

For anybody who hasn't read Dune, you will be very surprised if you read this book. I won't take anything away from George. But star wars is almost a direct rip off from this book. I mean most dune fans know this. And it's even pretty obvious. (Dune predates star wars by like 15 years or more). Dune was incredibly unique for it's time. I mean it's even on a sandy planet and there is a "relative" reveal.
DUNE is iconic. One of the best books I've ever read, try and read it once a year

As a serious fan, I love them all, but you have to make the distinction between the people behind each film/show. Disney clearly wanted to capitalize on the profit of the idea and they made the sequels with that in mind and that clearly shows. While on the other hand those such as Dave filoni and Jon Favreau, two people who genuinely enjoy and understand Lucas' Star Wars, direct shows like The Clone Wars and The Mandalorian and that "original" Star Wars feel shines in those series and anything they touch.
