That helps us the consumer so much, when choosing what to add to our exhaust especially when OUR OWN personal vehicle is Stock! It’s hard to tell what some components may sound like when you have a vehicle that has headers, mid pipe, Y pipe, ETC… having a COMPLETELY STOCK vehicle & changing 1 thing at a time & showing what it does & sounds like definitely helps when choosing what to do/ add to your vehicle! So when are gonna do the same thing you did in this video but use the ATAK muffler? I’m trying to figure out what route to go with on My truck (The same that’s in this video)
When I get my Durango running I want it to keep the straight piped sound but x pipe duals. To keep it loud but add a little bit of back pressure. Short tube headers, no cat or muffler. It is a 5.9 magnum, I can't wait to bring it up to you
I may be a little clueless here, but how did he rev his engine at 13:43 when he rolled in front of the shop? Sounded like he was in neutral, isn't that truck an automatic? Or can you shift into neutral while the vehicle is still in motion in automatics?
I’ve been wanting to buy a borla atak. I have a 5.7 hemi. Would I need to buy two of the atak since I have a dual? Or would one be enough? I’m guessing I would have to buy two of them just need to make sure. If any one can help me that would be great 😊
This is awesome! I'd love to know if these are identical to the systems they make for GM Performance. The S-Type sure sounds like the system I've got on my 6.2L Silverado, and the ATAK sounds like the system on the Escalade V. I sure do miss the 6.0L engine - such an awesome sound that somehow lost some character with the 6.2L.
I need your professional opinion here. I've got a 6.1L Hemi Magnum. Borla does not offer the S-Type kit for my car, only Atak. They don't offer the Atak, only the S-Type, for the 6.1L Challenger. Writing to them, they said they would not supply an S-Type Muffler kit for my car, period. They stressed that these mufflers were not shelf items and should only be installed with the entire kit. Watching your channel for the past year, this sounds like a sales pitch more than a technical issue, right? I should be able to purchase the size/type of muffler needed, and have the muffler shop fabricate the rest?
Way too quiet you need to delete the third cat and do true duals and that's no way to actually test the muffler LOL you need to have it physically welded up nice so it goes through the whole system out to the exit to get the full effect and get rid of that third cat!
Crazy that these muffler manufacturers just slap some crazy nonsense design and then task their marketing to make it make sense to the public and to justify some Wild high $$$ 😂😂.

Yes you can just shift it in to neutral
