the siren mini mic from razor has long term issues coming from experience. I've had this mic for over two years and through these two years I've had issues with the device not working properly disconnecting and being unable to reconnect, drivers missing or receiving a error code which is the following {This device cannot start. (Code 10) The I/O request was canceled.} ive tried fixing these issue but never got any to work. bear in mind that at first when i encountered this issue i bought another mini mic (the exact same model and stuff) and had the same problems, overall i really enjoyed the way it didn't take a lot of space and its nice audio i like its ability to be high quality without being expensive id give it a 7/10 if not for the issues but it would have to be a 5/10 for it well since im on this video now ill be seeing myself with a new microphone soon hopefully though this one wont have as many issues.
A7S3 (4K) on the front with a Sony 35mm F1.4 lens for background blur A1 (8K) on the side for zooming on products without losing quality elgato keylight on topdown to light products random led panel on the side to light 1 part of my face big aputure led panel softbox ($800) in the front for diffused light (this helps a lot for smooth image) -20 midtone detail in davinci resolve for a bit more smoothness
I love these as out of the box reviews but I feel you could explain to people that they can post process the signal. You can set up your signal chain to have gates/compression/limiters through OBS and such.
Hypercardioid is actually more sensitive on the rear than a cardioid mic, hypercardioid is specifically better than cardioid for side rejection (we use them a lot live for drummers)
Btw, TDCatTech contacted Maono about the A04 mic since they changed the chip inside. He has a link to where you can download a firmware fix that could fix the mic's sensitivity.
This is how you do a mic testing video. I’m in the market so I’ve been watching so ma y and this one is great, seems a couple of these could be exactly what I need. I also need to add a quality noise cancellation aspect for certain videos so I don’t he has ever done that test or maybe we can get him to do one.
The only thing i wonder is does the on board chip the sudotack help if you plug it directly into ps5? Because i have that first fifine mic and it sounds clear but no where near as good as it can sound on a pc with effects.
How can I avoide Windows from lowering automatically my mic volume? I'm really struggling with it and I've done everything to fix it butnone is working :(
I liked the video but there was one thing you could have done differently and that’s not talking the whole time while you clicked on the keyboard and mouse so we can hear it for our selfs instead of u telling us abt it but other than that good job man!!
If you were to choose one for doing voiceovers, commercials, PSA's etc. which one would you choose? Also, what's your recommendation for higher budget up to $100?
Got the Finine t669 ( which is the K669b but with the whole mic kit and detachable cable) and I am happy with the product for the price I payed. its now starting to show its age but its working the way its supposed to. would recommend it.
@Nox_GG I have the Fifine K669 with the Mic stand and Shock Stand, and I've been rocking it for over 4 years. I don't see any need to upgrade to any newer condenser mics or XLR mics yet bc it still works amazingly. I also use the Steelseries mixer software to EQ my voice as well, and it sounds that much better. I would highly recommend it if it's on your radar.
@@dsajacob the stand is showing it's age, one of the screw came off, but was able to fix it back. The pads on the shock mount and the clamp are worned out but it's because it had been moved a lot.also there are some cosmetic damages. But I'm the type of guy to not handle stuff properly and mishandle it.
Mics are recorded in obs studio with the pc I'm on (which I also use for recording my screen). My own audio is recorded by a Rode NTG3 connected through XLR to a Zoom F3. Not the best shotgun for indoors, an AT4053B or MKH50 would be better options.
I would recommend Steelseriesgg. It's a full virtual mixer for all audios from gaming, music, discord chat, etc. But you can also change the EQs of each audio channel. Which means you can change the way your mic sounds and how your game sounds as well.
2:40 razor lowkey cooks on the budget stuff. I have a 15$ pair of headphones from them that work great and I’ve had them for like 4 years
Their budget stuff is good value but their more expensive stuff is crap
I did not believe a 30 dollar mic (k669b) soused that good so I bought one for myself and I am so grateful I did because it sounds good❤❤❤
Hope your right lol cuz this is going on my bday list! It looks and sounds good so this comment is reassuring 😂 thanks

Amazing video! Thank you so much! I couldn't have found a better video to help me figure out what one to buy.
What did you buy
the sudotack is definitely my favourite budget mic cuz it has everything you need which makes it so flipping good
Man, this video came in clutch!
I have been looking at a few of these & now have a better idea of how to narrow it down! Thanks for this one!

@@TheVideoNerd Wish you included Audio Technica AT2005-USB in this. One of the best if not the best mic under $50 and is Dynamic.
@@TheVideoNerdI really think you should create a video on this.

what I want to see is what they sound like with a fan in the background
I think the hyperx sounds the best out of all of them. What do you think?
And the fifine
4:56 I've had that mic before, it's good, I've had it before. One thing I gotta say is that one bad fall and the stand can break.
That first mic is such a great buy, based on the demonstration
A while ago you made a similar video, it’s inspired me to buy the fifine mic, ITS 10/10

I can't decide between the Razer mini and the Solo Cast
the solocast has the mute button which is so much easier instead of using a software so id go for that but thats just me
I can’t decide either
The new siren has a mute button btw
Sudotack ST-800 kit $47.99 = the best for the price
Getting that one too. Two of them to start
Definitely can't beat that price. Especially the fact it comes with the boom arm stand too
5:47 made me laugh so hard lol. I don't know why.. but it tickled my funny bone

Solocast, Sudotack and Ampligame are decent enough for the budget imo
you should do a $50 to $75 mic comparison. Bought a mic called the FDUCE SL40 for about $65 sounds absolutely amazing!
Thank you for this video I just bought razer mic with arm and looks amazing sounds amazing

Can you make a tutorial and tips on a streaming/recording software called Mirillis! action 4
Don't the new Seirin V3 also have a tap-to-mute button ? why you used the old one xD
Who position his mic in front of keyboard when gaming ?!? You should do the test with Mic behind the keyboard...
should i go with fifine k669b??? i use mic only for gaming and making videos.
anyone remember the Samson Meteor? It was pretty popular as a Snowball alternative back in the day
Please try the Fifine am8 in another one of these videos
