Greatest hockey player ever!
Mickeal jordan who!!!!....Mario Lemeuix is the REAL DEAL
Bradley Todd mickeal? 😂😂 it’s Michael
Minus the injuries and illness-imo the best player ever on the ice!!!
66 just dismantles St Louis here. 95-96 Blues had some good talented players, it's a shame they were under .500. (Hull, Gretzky, Macinnis, Hawerchuk, Pronger, Fuhr, etc)
I used to work in the civic arena back in those early days of the 1990’s. I worked in the day and had the pleasure of meeting and talking with him before and sometimes after practice. In those days they practiced at the igloo not at the south point facility like they do now. He was a humble and a honest to goodness nice guy to all of us regular workers.
DMZABO wow what a great experience
Jagr and Mario where amazing this season. Francis finished 4th in the pointrace also. Tobad they lost to the stupid Panthers in the conference finals. If they had gone to the finals I think they might have beaten Colorado
I remember Ron Francis was injured and didn't play against the Panthers...what could have been.
That would of been a awesome final
Art Vandelay the Beeezer stoped them? Lol
@@rongabrieljr.8784 He was the factor.
Think?
The reason I fell in love with the game of hockey is because of Mario Lemieux.
im looking on marios highlights and and I found that he scores a lot of goals between goalies legs. in this match 3 of 5 goals between legs. impressive
They had no balls
First goal puts into perspective how big and strong he was. He shook Pronger off like it was nothing.
Also, I actually remember watching this game.
i was there in 96, the Francois Lerox Tony Twist fights were insane.
Greatest ever
Legendary player, legendary announcer
nedved to lemuix...sa weeeet...thats called threading the needle...magical💃👍👍👍
Undeniably the greatest of all time
Never gonna tell me otherwise..#66 was the greatest talent to lace em up..not talking achievements that were damaged by many health issues, just talking pure talent and gift for the game, his name says it all.. THE BEST
I remember this game. I was 10. Glory days
Funny to see how Chris Pronger looks like a little kid trying o take the puck from Mario in the beginning of the video 😂
He was so much better than Gretzky. Lemieux didn't have nobody to set him up early in his career like Gretzky did, if Lemieux did. Gretzky's records would be destroyed.
Lemieux, Jagr, Naslund, Francis, Nedved, Zubov, Sandstrom. This was one STACKED team.
sick precision, pristine execution
Was lucky enough to get to watch Mario live as a kid. There wasn’t a defense or a goalie he couldn’t turn inside out…
4 of the 5 goals went nutmeg. :)
The greater one!
Stan Savran on color commentary
Mike Lange, THE BEST, with #1a, Stan Savran. What a team callin the games!
Le Magnifique!!!
Not a penguins fan...im flyers so you know im not being bias. Wayne was a hoax...never got checked so every game was like an allstar game...no serious defense.....mario was by far the greatest player ive seen and its getting close because of sidney. Mario did it all with being checked...having health issues...and shooting on goalis who basically took up the whole net just standing there. Putting him in the same sentence as wayne is disrespectful to mario.
Simply put, he was the best, much better than Gretzky! MARIO = G.O.A.T!!! He was the ELVIS of Hockey.
