Thank you! My Samsung had gone dark an the brightness slider was right over to 50, but I changed the mode to dynamic after watching your video and now it's fine!

Hi i have motion lighting turned off but whenever a dark scene comes on tv the bightness goes low and as soon as it gets abit bright or white text comes on a black background, the brightness goes high again. Why could this be?

My brightness is full and powersavings are off, adaptive brightness is off, standard mode but hdr content on dark areas are too dark

Thank you. Glad to see we are not alone. Tried every configuration imaginable over the course of 2 days and the picture is still too dark. Not just "too dark" but something like 85% too dark.
The Brightness and Gamma slider bars only effectively produce approximately a 2% to 3% difference in results.
A complete waste of time and money.

The OLED is darker because every LED has its own light and can be turned on or off, unlike a LCD / QLED. It gives the deep black, or true black effect that aprently some people like, I'm not one of hem and dont understand how anyone can tolerate that. The answer is to get a QLED TV, not OLED, WITH BACKLIGHT.

Just create two modes : "standard" for TV channels (Warm1), and "cinema" for platforms content (Warm2+Contrast enhancer low). Just call it with the vocal assistant to change the mode.

My last Samsung TV. They produce electronics that want to be smarter than their user and do something automatically, instead of giving you the option to set something your own way. In my case, there is a problem with the picture constantly dimming out for 2-3 seconds and I can't do anything about it. The TV will go back to the store and I will demand a cash refund. No more Samsung.

When I select dynamic natural etc it goes bright then immediately goes back to being dark and dull and it is confirmed to be selected.
