    Thank you for-taking your time to review these ankle braces. Very helpful..much appreciated. I used your links to purchase 2 of mueller and 2 of the ace ( for current lateral malleolus fracture and moderate sprain: post boot transition) and to support an old untreated backpacking lateral malleolus fracture and sprain). Thanks for your time and knowledge.

    Thank you! Your information was a big help to me.
    In the area where I live (East Coast USA)
    the Doctors no longer suggest or prescribe these needed items for recovery to their patients; nor do insurance companies any longer seem to be covering or pushing them for use by the patients.

    I have a ton of braces of all types and the best I have found was the ASO. It gave the best support and the most comfort.

      No idea about other braces shown in the video, but one more vote for the ASO. It has a speed lace-up system which I found pretty convenience.
      Would be nice if you could try review and compare them with these 3 products.

      ASO what? Which model, please? Also, does the ASO have stiff sides? I know nothing about braces but I've rolled my right ankle at least 15 times in the past 2 years & I drop like a cement bag every time, landing on my left knee & both arms, as recently as this past Friday. My whole body is in pain right now & I can't keep doing this. Matter of time before I break something so I'm really looking for a brace that won't allow my ankle to roll over/outward at all. Would the ASO stop that from happening do you think?

    The problem I have with the tie up ankle brace is the velcro that wraps around the top. It catches the laces and just tears them up. After a couple of weeks of use, the laces were so afraid that it was hard to get them through the holes to tighten up the fit of the brace.
    I really like the Zamst A1 brace but they don't seem to make it anymore. Do you know of anything comparable?

    nothing like a brace or a boot can help my ankle it won’t stop rolling because I walk on my ankles on the outer side it’s not their inner so in a boot it will still roll in a brace it’s to like floppy and that means it might have to be put in a cast

    • @PTProgress
      @PTProgress  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It can certainly provide more stability and may prevent a minor sprain, but a big enough fall and you could injure your ankle again even if you’re wearing the brace. But yes, the brace can be worn with activity and can reduce the likelihood of injury to a degree. Thanks for watching!

    • @theluck9973

      Its super important that u recover the injury as log as u can. U need to go back to your 100% before play again. I passed 1 month of recover my ankle sprain. Be careful when u go back to play cause its common go into a sprain series so i can tip u to wear this forever to reduce the damage.
      Do something like this: www.healthline.com/health/sprained-ankle-exercises#overview or similar to get your ankle stronger.
      Im sorry if my english isn t this good, but it isn t my first language, but i stopped to play competitive sport for this shit, i stopped to play after my 3 sprain

      I have no intentions of scaring you or suggesting that your condition might be similar to mine, it's just that I hope you don't take your pain lightly and foot for granted. Please seek some medical help and stay healthy and positive.
