Love the video but I personally do not think the orcs from 40k are the same ones as in fantasy, in 40k an ork can kill a space marine in hand to hand combat, that means they would probably be very little that could stand in their way in the fantasy universe. Also during the time of the old ones, the orks where creations of the old ones known as Kroks which where MUCH bigger than regular orks and MUCH stronger and actually intelligent so when the old ones where still around the orks would have still been krorks in the fantasy universe.
Are you sure about End Times confirming Fantasy was it's own reality? It's HEAVILY implied the Skaven made 'radio' contact with the Eldar during the End Times.
Yes I am sure, not because of the actual books, but because Age of Sigmar the continuation for fantasy establishes it as a alternate universe than 40K.
@@jumbothick2984 That since been retconned really - since then it's been confirmed that AoS, 40k and many more universes exist together, all connected by the Warp, which is something old ones would know how to use and could have used to travel to different universes.

I think the original intention was to have the two franchises be in the same universe and then they changed their minds. Apparently very old editions of Warhammer Fantasy had some magical artifacts that were in fact 40K weapons. A las gun might be a "staff of light" for example.

Couldn't they just create a caste system with The many races they created: With the Lizardmen being at the top of the food chain and being the direct ambassadors abd messengers of the Old Ones, so they are the elite warriors. The Elves could have been the Mages, priests, artists and long range fighters in thier army, a.is archers and Mages. A.K.A. the archetypical creator race that decides to vanish, when shit really hits the fan and leave us to clean all their mess
Yeah there assholes no doubting it
So all real religious gods save maybe the Norse at ragnarok
I really think your videos are the best warhammer lore videos out there. I really do

3:20 THOSE LOOK LIKE NECRONS
Old ones in fantasy are pretty much the same as 40k
This video series was exactly what I was looking for.
Awesome video, only realized how old it was after watching, but take my like anyway :D
Late to the party but I love this stuff keep it up!
Keep up the good work !
They were makeing the warhamner world when the great cataclysm happend and they had to retreat as they were fighting a war against the yangri
Mind Flayers would fit in well in Warhammer fantasy.
Or 40k

@@pauliusthemad3498 god damn warhammer lore is fucking extensive. I dont have time for this shit
Excellent lore videos
I would argue the old ones are not gone, because they summon them, or at least their power (the lizard men).
if the music was turned down by 20-30% this would be easier to listen to.
Only froggy nom-nom
Old ones are the same in both 40k and fantasy as they are master of space time and reality
It's weird though, because age of sigmar makes it seem like the lizardmen "become" the old ones to the 40k universe.
@@bruva207 age of sigmar
In very old 40K, the old ones looked like a mixture between the Skinks and the Slann so, make of that what you will...

Or it could just be because they did it for a fan of 40k to easily transition to fantasy
Such a cliche, but terrifying and misterious Lore. Jumbo is the best.
Actually, Games Workshop specifically stated the two franchises are unconnected, and they just got lazy with the name recycling.

Yuwan Maybe it was that way but, we'll probably never know
Man humams would have been domesticated as lesser species only useful as occasional culinary delicacies XD
@@우찬호 right? For the most part it sucks to be a human in any form of warhammer. Unless you are skaven
No, they can't if they did, preconceived Racism would ensue creating prejudice information spread across the lands... basically, war would breakout
Music is WAY too fuckin loud
The music threatens to drown out your voice.........
The old gods became the chaos gods
Did he say Halflings?! How come I’ve never seen a halfling in Warhammer??
5:37 The dragons hid in Ulthuan from the old ones.
8:23 But the old ones are the ones who lifted Ulthuan from the sea. Kinda dumb of the dragons.

Is this 40000 or regular
Regular/fantasy👍

I know people say 40K and fantasy aren’t connect but in my own head lore they are.
