Blood Dragons are legit my favorite vampires in any setting. The concept of warrior monk vampires trying to fight an enemy strong enough that drinking its blood will cure them of blood thirst but still leave them with all the benefits of the vampire is amazing. It makes creating a noble anti hero Blood Dragon lord very easy for your army. Now that we know the Old World will be back officially from Games Workshop I can't wait to play my old Blood Dragon army again.
The Drakenhof Templars, Jumbo, Vlad von Carsten turned them into an order of vampiric knights unfit for carrying the Von Carstein name. But in spite of having been sired by Vlad, I do believe they count as Blood Knights.
Dominion Sorcerer I know super late but I think yes they would be considered blood knights because that is a type of unit. However they are not blood dragons from that original family
Creator of Archaon himself stated that Abhorash would defeat Archaon. I personally think only Settra would stand a chance against him. And that is only because he is turned into a demigod by the ruinous powers. Normal Settra would get annihilated.

In general I feel.... vampires are cool, but vampire warriors in heavy plate? That makes them infinitely more appealing to me.

How exactly? Aren't Blood Knights the knightly order of Blood Keep? And they are from Blood Dragon bloodline, since their sire is Walach Harkon.
