    Oh and to my knowledge (which may be limited or incorrect), modern man doesn’t know actual verbal nuances or inflections of the ancient egyptian language, being limited to a written form (hieroglyphics) as the primary source (Rosetta Stone being the original document of translation) with no living instances of humans speaking the langauges of the old, middle or new kingdoms.

      Actually, one of the linguists who cracked the Rosetta Stone used Coptic as a base. Obviously, with a society that lasted as long as Egypt, the language likely changed a lot over the centuries, but near the end the Egyptians likely spoke something very similar to Coptic.
      Look up Jean-Francois Champollion if you want to learn more.

    Just a guess but "Phakth" would probably be pronounced something like P'hak't-ahc with the last H almost a hiss.

    The background music is way too loud. The content seems good but I gave up before the half way point.

    Your videos are awesome.
    Games Workshop's absolute lack of originality in their creations however is cringeworthy. They may have well just called the Tomb Kings, Egyptians because that's 100% of what they are.

    He butchers the pronunciation of each god.

    "The God of Sky and Justice" FXtP?? depicted as what to me looks like Horus, God Messiah and one of the first Jesus-prototypes of religious doctrines. And while it was his father Osiris who was cut to pieces, as I recall, still Horus was a god of that resurrection. So there is a kind of an underworld link maybe? Not an Egyptology and Myth expert but if that isn't Horus there, don't know what is..

    • @abcdefghij337
      @abcdefghij337 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Horus was considered a god of vengeance and justice.
