Yes, yes they are. My parents are going thru it right now, as they were friends in Tulsa city limits and alot of other hangout bars.
Always thought those stories were fake for respect until I saw the pictures of them all together in Tulsa drunk asf😂 and read my mom's memorial to him, that's when I realized that they weren't bullshitting, and garth was also apart of that group back in the late 80s until they all took off and lost touch. so I can only imagine how that tight net Oklahoma stars are feeling for all that knew him nowadays.

I'm a big Wayman Tisdale fan, on the court and as a bass guitarist. A great tribute to Wayman. I just heard the news of Toby Keith's death after his fight against stomach cancer and was saddened. I loved their duet covering Barry White's "Never Gonna Give Ya Up" and immediately came to this song. I know their cutting it up laughing and playing together now.
My heart goes out to all of you who are Toby Keith fans.

I called my brothers call phone to listen to the voice mail prompted for 4 months after his death, till someone else got his number, just to listen to his voice. God Bless you Toby, a great American and a great Oklahoman, I always looked you on the sidelines at the Sooners home games, but you're in an even better place now.

I have been processing this over the last week. Wow! This was my dad's favorite country artist. In 2021, my dad would ask me to play Toby's music on the guitar as he was dying of cancer. My dad passed in the summer of 2021. Wayman, Toby, my dad, cancer has taken many more. I am crying for all of them now. Cancer sucks!

Crying again -- what a story about a true legend- there will never ever be another Toby Keith- entertainer or cowboy or human being or legend or someone who was so humble and never really cared to be in the spotlight- if he was he always seemed to turn the tables to something to him that was more important like his charities or the state of the country or our service men and women and the veterans. Still don't understand why he was taken but he defiantly left the true blueprint to a soul who's mold was broken and will never be duplicated. I am so glad this song was done and done in a very respectful way .Toby's family first and foremost and his band -his friends and fans appreciate what you have done very much. We will never know exactly what or why bad things happen to good people. I had my dad and grandmother and family and friends with cancer. Even babies and children get cancer. All we can do is support our loved ones and the community to end this horrible disease.

My husband died of heart disease five months ago at the age of 58. I'd never heard this song before a few days ago and it perfectly sums up my feelings. I feel like it was sent to me at the right time.
I'm not really a country fan, but this song gets me everytime. It takes guts and talent to write a song like this. Wayman was a great athlete, musician, and person. He deserved a song like this and Toby Kieth put it beautifully. This song is definitely a tear jerker.

Toby Keith has had a lot of great songs that were big hits, but this is THE best song he has ever written and sang. Wonderful tribute to his best friend and brother Wayman "Tiz" Tisdale. I didn't know Wayman personally, but had the great opprtunity of meeting with and talking with him on several occassions. What an incredible person, husband, father and Godly man. No matter what the obstacle, he would always flash that humongous smile that would show every tooth lol. Great tribute once again Toby. And for you Wayman,...
