This was a great choice, George! in 2020 my wife and I we're looking for a new vehicle, knowing that we we're going to be driving alot on vacation and one of the vehicles we looked at was the Lexus 500 LC Convertible in the same exterior/interior combo that you purchased. What I fell in love with was the style but the V8 sold the vehicle. We ended up going with a 2021 Audi SQ8 in Orca Black with Arris Red interior, Luxury Package, Sports Package, Black Optic package, and that lovely Twin Turbo 510 HP V8 which as you can guess sold me on the vehicle! My wife wanted a little more room for long trips so thats why we went with the AUDI SQ8 over the Lexus 500 LC Convertible. Your channel, comments, insight and videos went a long way toward helping us make up our minds! With all that said my wife's AUDI A6 is due to be replaced in next year so Lexus 500 LC is back at the top of our list. Thanks again for the great videos and insight into the automotive industry. As a former Z guy (3 variants), I just purchased the LC500 2024 edition as my new Z. Some months ago, I had purchased a 2017 Mazda MX-5 RF and found it to be an excellent sports/luxury car blend that is very enjoyable to own and drive. I can recommend the MX-5 as the best sports car for the price point ($30-40K). I previously loved the LC500 but was annoyed by the electronics in the platform. And to my surprise, Lexus Corporate listened to the market and updated the infotainment for 2024. So the Miata is going to find a new home and the LC500 has earned a spot in the garage. The LC500 is the penultimate Lexus blend of GT/LS art/engineering and is actually priced well, with respect to the competition. I appreciate your review and agree with your comments. Stay safe and happy driving!
. The LC 500 is undeniably one of the most beautiful cars I’ve ever seen. I own a 2021 LC500 red convertible, and even when I’m not driving it, I find joy in just admiring it parked in the garage. While there may be faster or more expensive cars out there, I challenge anyone to find one more beautiful. I’ve even named mine Halle Berry, since having the real Halle Berry isn’t an option!
MM that car is magnificent. You are now true baller status. I never had a doubt that you walked in and wrote a check for this thing. I’m happy for you and jealous all at the same time. The LC 500 is on my extremely short list of about 5 cars in my lifetime that I’d like to own long term. I love my MX-5 RF, but there’s just something about that NA V8 sound that the MX-5 will never be able to deliver. I think you just inspired me to break out my checkbook and start looking for one of my own. As for your next purchase, I’m going with a 718 Spyder or 911 Targa MT.
Congratulations George! This would be the spec I would have this car in as well. I hope the gives you the joy you were looking for in this rolling artwork.
Congratulations, I now work at a Lexus dealership and wouldn’t think I’d enjoy the products as much either. After getting over my German basis, I can agree that Lexus makes some amazing products that will stand the time as some of the most refined vehicles of all time.
Good buy! The LC500 reminds me of a Cadillac XLR. I think the XLR's design will be more appreciated in years to come (interior, not so much). But the LC design, inside and out, will age like a fine wine.
Congratulations on your purchase. Personally, I think that the colour scheme is absolutely spot on. For some reason the interior colour perfectly compliments the exterior instead of a grey or black interior.
Great choice and I am sure you are going to love it. Now a bit of advice - do yourself a favour, and please find nearest certified ARTDESHINE detailer - have them coat the PPF and paint in the latest Artdeshine NANO GRAPHENE COATING V3 and cover all that beautiful leather with UV protective interior leather coating from the same company. It is seriously THE best stufff you can get and its going to look absolutelly stunning - and the protective performance of those coatings will be something you are really going to appreciate and keep the car value up.

I don't think you can go wrong with them so many congrats on your new to you car MM.

@@MotoManTV my pleasure. :) Ohh to answer your question, I'll go with the new manual Supra. You have a history with Supras, you enjoy driving the MkV & you weren't exactly smittened with the new Z. It's a nice car. I still like the 93 SC400 that I bought new as having the best design from Lexus. Problem with any Toyota vehicle is that they do everything so well, that it makes them boring. Since the car was in the demo fleet, I imagine it's had a rough 10k miles, so it had to be a very good price coming direct from Toyota. Enjoy.

Thank you, Lee . . . Let me know what you end up doing . . .
Congratulations George! This would be the spec I would have this car in as well. I hope the gives you the joy you were looking for in this rolling artwork.
Toyota/Lexus 🥇. I love my LS500. Definition getting a LC500 convertible. Amazing
Congratulations, I now work at a Lexus dealership and wouldn’t think I’d enjoy the products as much either. After getting over my German basis, I can agree that Lexus makes some amazing products that will stand the time as some of the most refined vehicles of all time.
Most beautiful convertible in looks and in build!
Good buy! The LC500 reminds me of a Cadillac XLR. I think the XLR's design will be more appreciated in years to come (interior, not so much). But the LC design, inside and out, will age like a fine wine.
So cool, congrats! I love that color, but I saw a dark green one recently and that was pretty hot too.
So cool that you got to buy the exact one you reviewed! Thank you for reinforcing your message about saving up and paying cash for a car.
Wow! Congrats. I got the IS500.
Congratulations! Not financing it must feel incredible. You deserve it. Excited to follow your journey with this car.
Beautiful car and great engineering. Still, my favourite is the 1992 SC400. One of a kind.
“I’m not a Lexus guy but, I’m a Lexus guy”
Congrats! Great choice!!
Congratulations on your purchase. Personally, I think that the colour scheme is absolutely spot on. For some reason the interior colour perfectly compliments the exterior instead of a grey or black interior.
Great choice 👍🏻 Best wishes from the UK 🇬🇧🇺🇸
10/10 purchase
Enjoy that wonder Piece of machinery
I still think you’ll spring for the M3 manual sometime soon if the conditions meet your approval. Love the LC!!!
Great purchase, man!
+1.. Very nice purchase ... Oh I'm with you .... do not buy money only to spend on a car. ... Granted,,, my Frau and I keep cars for more than a decade. .. High-end car cost money. ... Motorman,,, Very nice purchase. . Drive safe, Best of luck...
Congratulations a beautiful car that will age gracefully as you drive smiling with each and every mile enjoy Mazeltov!
I know I’m a bit late to the game on this video, but for some reason TH-cam does not put your videos in my feed any more, I have to search them out. But, I want to congratulate you on your purchase, and tell you I am excited for you.
PS. I’m still working on trying to get a Fiero from from all those years ago when I asked you about what you’d get first if you had to do it all over.
I was certain that you were going to buy the new Z. This is absolutely fantastic, congrats and enjoy!
Love those, but not enough to write a check.
This is going to be a classic. Gotta get one soon!
MOTOMAN you have great taste!! That's a beautiful car you got there....congrats!!! enjoy
Yup.
Top of my list to be done next 24 months.
Passed the 992 because the 992 will still be there
Dude its so obvious, you have always been and shall remain a Lexus Guy, congrats dude
From one LC500 owner (same colour combo too except mine is a hard top) to another, you sir, are a legend
Edit: great job on not financing either. totally agree with your points. And I'm guessing Porsche gt3 for what you have your eyes on next, another last of it's kind car!
I think the hard top is better looking. Good choice.
Thanks, Kevin!
Excellent choice. This car is a future classic.
Wrote a check for mine too. Love it and its my daily driver.
Before seeing your broadcast I was just looking at a new add for a regatta edition which has just appeared - not sure if I could manage the upkeep of all white interior but the convertible LC500 keeps floating to the top of my next car list. I don't think you can go wrong with them so many congrats on your new to you car MM.
im getting one next year for my 50th so we will go for a spin, congrats and great review
I hope you have been looking at the BMW 240i X drive. Probably the best value sports car with two doors and four seats. With that beautiful B58 turbo straight six. The Lexus looks great happy trails.
That is beautiful....love that color! Perfect.
συγχαρητήρια!
Good things come to those who work hard & lord knows you've put your heart and soul into this. Enjoy it & savor the moment, you deserve it, brother.
Much respect for practicing what you preach, M. You're a good role model for the group you teach, something sorely lacking nowadays. Chapeau!
Looking forward to hearing your experience with it over the coming months and years.
An LC500 trumps a Land Cruiser all day everyday and twice on Sunday.
Congratulations, again!
Thank you, Brother . . . And thank you for the support over the years!
@@MotoManTV my pleasure. :)
Ohh to answer your question, I'll go with the new manual Supra. You have a history with Supras, you enjoy driving the MkV & you weren't exactly smittened with the new Z.
I would've said Porsche, but their customer service has been deteriorating as of late (allegedly) & the way they've been mistreating prospective GT buyers is nothing short of disgraceful to say the least (also allegedly).
Mazda red looks great on everything.
You said you have the CF scuff plates with the images shown don't seen to show those. Mine are huge and takes up the full area of the door opening.
Congratulations! Beautiful car!
Enjoy.
Love the SC 300 & 400 but they were from a different time for Lexus. This car is anything but boring:)
Congratulations
She’s a keeper
Beautiful, and that infrared looks wild in direct sunlight
Congrats! LOVE that color! LOVE that interior! :)
Best lc color
Congrats !!!
Thank you!
Congrats on the new ride.
Congratulations, that is my favourite car and colour combination, I have an IS 350 in the red with ivory interior.
Excellent choice ........ I have the coupe in the same color and interior. Now I know who the other owner in the US is.
Congrats man
Awesome purchase, my fellow Yiorgos!!!
Kumo is so happy right now with the wind flowing through the hairs, enjoying the rides. Congratulations 🎉 You got your eyes on that Z when they finally put a T in it on the top.🎯
He does appreciate the roof . . .
Congrats Motoman! Lovely color combination on wonderfull car! I was lookimg at a silver coupe the other day at Toyota dealership which was waiting to be delivered to its new owner, and it is really a stunning design.
You are a man of impeccable taste, sir!
That car is SO MotoMan!
Great pick and better value!
Stunning design!
I own the coupe, same color, stunning
