You can program driving mode to the 4 way buttons on steering wheel..once you do it’s just one touch to toggle from sport, normal, eco, and custom..most people don’t know that there is customizable 8 buttons on your steering wheel 4 on left and four on right…hopefully this helps..^^

Pricing, if you’re correct, will be the problem. They will still sell some, but only to the Lexus loyalists or those with long-term reliability high on their priority list.
If they can keep pricing below $70k, I think it’s a winner.

You’ll love Final Cut Pro on a M1 or M2. Take a class with Apple to jump start yourself as needed. I learned it on my own but feel I’m leaving features unused on the table. Which color do you like best. I agree with the PHEV on this one but with double the horse power on the rear motor. At 80K the iX is tool close and so much better place to cruise.

Adding a more desirable F sport Performance trim is a good idea for uplifting the RX model. That said performance wise to cost in the 500h would’ve made a great *baseline* vs aspirational. Like…a RAV4 hybrid takes this off the line…for whats in it I feel like there was definitely room to go further, but thats just a numbers thing.

I don't fit Lexus's demographic for this vehicle. Bought mine last month and absolutely love it and went with the Copper Crest and different wheels. Every option but the Levnson sound system. List was just under 73k and that includes the transportation fee. Single 47, kid at home and work in infrastructure. When at the dealership looking at it and a GX460. Went to look at GX460 and somehow came home with the RX. Just wish they offered the blue for the RX500H F-sport in the US. It's available in Canada though and love it in that color.

4:25 MotoMan take a second look at the suspension. They altered the geometry of the shocks to naturally pick up the nose and dive purely by changing how they sit. I thought that was amazing. Im surprised you missed that nugget. Its your thing. ;)

Unfortunately there will be no PHEV performance version in the future. But there will be a full EV version of this RX in 2-4 years if the markets in Europe and Asia are accommodating. Wheelbase is the exact same as BZ4X/RZ.
As for pricing on the 500h fully loaded model, I think it will be around 75-77k. It has standard leather, not the semi-aniline leather. And the limited exterior/interior colors help to keep costs down.

Was waiting for your review to hit on this new F Sport Performance RX 500h. My wife owned the previous generation RX 350 and we liked it fine, but got tired of waiting for Lexus to finally bring out the new version, so she got an Audi Q5 Sportback. Now I don’t think she’ll go back to Lexus anytime soon. The suspension alone on the Audi is leaps and bounds better than in the F Sport Performance version even with adaptive dampers. I am curious what the pricing will be. As to the copper color…I’m not a fan. The white with everything blacked out along with the rioja red interior really looks sharp though.

    • @MotoManTV
      @MotoManTV  ปีที่แล้ว +3

Yes, the Audi definitely demonstrates better drive dynamics, however the reason most people do the Lexus and trade down on dynamic is long term reliability. Of all the people that I know who have had or currently have an Audi, zero are without sizable issues.

Been on Mac all my life and carried that decision through when setting up post flow for this business. Was holding off on moving over until Apple righted some wrongs from older MacBook Pros - namely removing Magsafe and an SD Card slot. All was granted recently, as well as quite a bit of speed. The machine I use is the most murdered out MacBook Pro 16.2. Blazingly fast. 4-5 layer, 15+ minute timelines used to render in about an hour +, now, 4 minutes. Exports of the same in less than 5. Life altering. Downside, the move sunsets a number of software packages we use, so in my case, using two machines daily until I come up with a solution. In short, refuse to pay a monthly subscription for software I already own so the likes of Adobe and others can play a game with valuation.

@@MotoManTV you’ve always used a laptop for editing and whatnot then? If so then you’ll fare better than I initially thought, but it still has the downside of no dedicated GPU which is a major one when you need it, and you wouldn’t ever know until the moment you need it. But if you don’t currently then I can understand.
I completely agree and know what you mean. I refuse to participate in this micro transaction/ DLC/ software as a service/subscriptions for everything world. I draw the line there out of spite. I won’t do it.
Is it just Adobe products or what else did this move loose you support for? Rosetta 2 won’t even run these apps?
This is the dark side of progress with apple, they forced developers to let them take a 30% cut off all sales and a 30% cut off all sales of things within the app as well, and banned the ability to direct customers to places outside of the app and App Store to buy said product or service. This caused developers to want to make a sale as often as possible, and this has broken the entire paradigm. Apple giveth only 30% of what apple taketh away.
Anyway if you need any suggestions of alternatives or assistance including exploring a hackintosh (build a pc that runs Mac OS but runs high end intel or amd chips that destroys even the $20k Mac pro’s at a fraction of the cost

Anyone willing to pay 80k for this rice burner…sorry, hybrid rice burner…should look to other options like the Genesis GV60, Kia/Hyundai options…or even the RAV4 Prime. Crazy money to spend on a Lexus with much better options available.

For the price, better to get a Tesla Model Y performance and get 7500 tax incentive. Once you test drive a Tesla, you'll buy one. It's super fun.

It’s angry because it’s still not terribly competitive
A gv80 MDX aviator we’re already way better options before anyones even driven the RX. And that still holds true
Dead on arrival. Typical Lexus. Always lowering the bar in the automotive industry
