For someone whose name has been dragged through the mud so much by the media, he is honestly one of the most pleasant rock stars I've ever looked into.
Adore was, is and always will be my favourite Smashing Pumpkins' album. I'm italian, i was 16 when i saw my first concert: in 2000 Smashing Pumpkins in Bologna. I still remember the whole night. Blank page at the end. Billy is a genius and has a really strong integrity. He's a real legend and represent the rock music. This integrity is what Bill Hicks was talking about. This is being rock and great rock musician. So, respect Billy. Cheers.
My pleasure. I used to tape anything and everything he appeared in back in the days of taping TV shows on to the VCR. I just keep finding these gems. I have a pretty good copy of the VH1 Fashion Award performance of "Crestfallen," it's a bit further into my videos. ;)
Two Pumpkins song references in this interview :D 14:16 a line from Mayonaise, "rumored to the *straight and narrow*" 14:23 a reference to the song "We Only Come Out At Night" Not gonna lie, I giggled when Billy referenced We Only Come Out At Night. Nobody probably got it though, since it's one of their lesser known songs from MCIS.
It's the physical manifestation of a turning point in a lot of ways, stylistically and in terms of their career/fame as well. I like the album, but the "purists" will always dislike it, and for good reason on their hand. Don't get me wrong, I fell in love with "Behold! The Nightmare" the first time I heard it; I love the shoegaze-y feel to it, although it isn't as heavily distorted. It's just considered a bad album because it was different, the way I see it.
Are you fucking kidding???? Dude was EXTREMELY positive to rock musicians and obviously did some homework on whoever he interviewed. Dude was classy as hell!!!!
Like it or not, they're considered one of the greatest rock bands of all time. They defined the 70s and 80s and inspired many bands. I don't think they're anywhere near the level that Smashing Pumpkins is on, but they certainly deserve some form of recognition.
No sports in Europe ? lmfao ! 😂😂😂 Billy ! Wher have you been n Europe ? Roemenia ? omg ! 😂 Soccer, kickboxing, tennis, etc all day every day on the T.V !overhere ! And never heared about Hooligans 2 i presume ? Or did you think they would fight over B-teams 😂 No baseball and no american football equals no sport with bald billy 😂 (we do have NBA though) But i take this lightly, because when i look the way he is physicaly build, i doubt he did sport when he was younger, boney, fragile looking mf.
rocknrollboise what? Lol what makes you think that. That’s probably the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. I guess you don’t know much about billy. But his relationship with Kurt was not very great
Billy had one of the most perfectly symmetrical faces I've ever seen. Beautiful cheekbones, eyes, nose & lips. Wow ♥️ ♥️ ♥️ Don't like Tom Snyder. At all. But this interview was surprisingly good.
I like to listen to Billy's interviews. He's an interesting guy.
especially on alex jones

I love adore. there can come some really beautiful art out of sorrow. If I'm sad it's my favourite album.
Love watching/listening to Billy's views, he is an amazing person!
Thank you so much. I've been wanting to see this whole interview for a while. I just love listening to Billy talk. And Tom Snyder is great, too.
Billy is at the top of his game now what a smart man

I caught it!!!!
"That's a toughy"
BulletS with Butterfly Wings? BULLET-S? ONE BULLET. JUST ONE.
P.J. was probably the most pleasant caller of all time.
Great interviewer
I love Billy so much and have tons of respect for him. He is an extraordinary man. 3

Shame on these people for their judgement.

I can't even emagine myself in billys shoes in this interview the tension is overly abondant.
I could listen to billy corgan for hours
Very good interview. Better than modern pop interviewers it seems.
He's so much more intuitive today to how things went wrong at that time
"That is heavy metal" - little girl.... LMAO
Billy is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Snyder is an excellent host.
Sometimes it looks like he has one big nostril instead of two
How great was that Seattle flyover with 1979 playing.
Great interview :) love Billy Corgan!!
I'm curious to see how critics will rate Adore when its reissued.
That is an awesome combover
The little kid was awesome.
Great interview!!!
Omg that kid is great! He's probably old enough to front a band himself now.
I love WPC he should get into politics I think he would do good work, Tommy 35, Irish
10:36 the man is the band not a guitar
I was at that concert. It was my first ever actually
Are you fucking kidding???? Dude was EXTREMELY positive to rock musicians and obviously did some homework on whoever he interviewed. Dude was classy as hell!!!!

A lot of talk about energies, is he Buddhist ?
Buddhism is more about meditation than energies.
Jesse Ventura 2016
He'll be singing that all the way to the gun store in ten years.
Kiss were fucking awful. Please don't mention them in the same breath as Smashing Pumpkins.
No, kiss is awful !

Music is not objective, squirt.
They had some good jams.

"stars of tomorrow, you saw it here first". No they didn't, they saw it on Bill cosby first. dumb old idiot
I used to rock really hard, but, i found playing crappy pop music and becoming more pretentious suited me better.
Is that you, Sting?
Name a rock band that never played sad music or ballads.
Narrow eyed moron.
Tom Snyder is a dick.
He wants to be a bald Kurt Cobain so bad.
rocknrollboise what? Lol what makes you think that. That’s probably the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. I guess you don’t know much about billy. But his relationship with Kurt was not very great
I’d listen to the song Rocket.
rocknrollboise lol he was literally bigger than Cobain in 95
Billy had one of the most perfectly symmetrical faces I've ever seen. Beautiful cheekbones, eyes, nose & lips. Wow ♥️ ♥️ ♥️
Don't like Tom Snyder. At all. But this interview was surprisingly good.
***** Lol not to be rude but I must say, that's one of the most paradoxical username's I've ever come across on YT!!
