The Smashing Pumpkins I'm excited to see what comes next. Sometimes people say they want to keep at it when vlogging but it can be exhausting so it fizzles out. I'm on board with your future projects and will happily continue to rewatch what has already been presented. Thanks so much!!
I can't stop rewatching 30 days, billy, this has broken my heart in the best way possible. Youre such a free spirit, youre a brilliant man. I love your music and always will, xoxo Mr. Corgan. Your music has made the biggest impact on me, through thick and thin, I find lots of comfort in your music. Cant wait to see what more you have to offer, can't wait for another project like this. Thank you for everything, Corgan ❤ best wishes!
I love the tour through the history of our country, even though it is bittersweet. The shells of once bustling towns are a fascinating reminder of our own limits and how everything succumbs to time. Thank you for creating these vignettes.
I like all of them , but the one that got my heart was from the ruins, it made me think of myself. I have some really bad things happen to me, my main one was that my baby was killed 19 yrs ago, and your look at life makes me feel that there is some hope for my life. thank you for your music. keep up the videos. congrats on your beautiful son. thank you again.
My favorite is Day 15 when you give the musician 60 of advice and really breakdown out the social media and internet work. I actually shared that one with a friend of mine, because you explained it so well in really very few words and you stressed how what you produce has to be interesting. I would also add that is one of my favorite all time TH-cam videos because of that explanation. A favorite answer of yours was on Day Zero - When the radio interviewer asks you what he is supposed to do when are playing the guitar in your home. You answer that the guitar is part of the conversation in that context. I really connected with that statement, because I play the guitar and a lot of times when I am just sitting and thinking or taking a break from another task I will pick up the guitar to relax or even get ideas about what I am working on that might not be even directly related to the guitar or music itself. Hanging out and playing guitar, or visiting a friend who is playing guitar while you are hanging out really does become part of the conversation. The ironic thing about your answer is that in other videos as you visit places and you are playing guitar at various points in the videos the guitar becomes part of the conversation of your videos. The really cool thing is that if this video series was one movie, I might think the editor put that clip in the beginning as a clever way to tie into the rest of the movie, but that happened in the first episode, before any of the other videos were filmed so it is kind of a unifying thread through them that occurred during production as opposed to a post production addition.
I miss these simple times. I feel like life is passing by too quickly. I was a young adult in the '90s and music was a way of life. I almost wish things could go backward. Music has changed drastically and I miss simplicity in musical art form. just an instrument and a voice. I admire anyone , whether they are famous or not, that picks up, leaves it all behind to see the organic beauty of open roads. it seems liberating and I live vicariously through these videos. it's not my time yet. I thoroughly enjoyed your trek through Texas, as I'm a proud Texan now living in the midwest. Lots of hidden jewels in there. I'm a long time fan of your work and talent, was brought here by Adam the woo. so glad for that!
The ever lasting gaze got me into rock and roll You are a legend and an inspiration. Thank you. You are a rock legend. You have no idea the people you have touched. Please keep making music. You are loved.
I loved everything Billy. I watched everyday. Every video Gave me hope & inspiration from my hero. You once said "I'm no legend, your favorite band is legend and in humility I accept this award because I've never been afraid to push your buttons." Well your my legend and guitar hero. You pushed everyones buttons this last 30 days and truly inspired me to stop in the small towns and scroll through old antiques, explore, and find the history where many would just pass by. I was at the amitabha peace park like 2 weeks earlier so it was cool to see my hero somewhere where my lady & I were walking 2 weeks prior to you being there, and we laughed our asses off because we'd never been there and its not exactly clearly labeled when you get to the road where you park & get out. That was my favorite episode because sometimes "you gotta go big or go Sedona!!!
That was incredible, thanks for sharing. My family of five has been traveling the country in our fifth wheel RV for a year now and you guys filmed at some of our favorite stops. It's been an adventure :)
Would have to say TAOS, day 25 - the secret areas, vibrant scenery, a beautiful reunion, live music, obvious happiness...I even had to share that one on FB which I hardly do...magick!
So glad my son told and encouraged me to watch your adventures, Billy!!! Thank you for giving me something much more entertaining to watch, than the craziness going on today. I am hooked! ♥️
The Smashing Pumpkins my favorite episode is when you went to Laredo Texas. I have a lot of other favorites as well of places you went things you said and things you showed us. But that one stands out the most. I liked to see you who you really are. I love how real the videos are and also the clarity and quality. I love to see you compose music. And see your family. thank you for showing me our beautiful country. I love the one where you got him the hot springs with that Native American guy. We really are fortunate to live in such a country. For some weird reason I feel closer to you I living vicariously through your videos. I already was a fan of yours since the beginning now I'm 43 years old. You ever want a good slice of pizza come see me in Manhattan Beach at the Manhattan Beach Pizzeria California. let me know ahead of time so I'll be down there. I would love to meet you. If our journey doesn't cross paths in this lifetime just know I appreciate your music your talent and the person you are.
What a cool journey! Thanks for sharing these 30 days. Great to see creativity and art each and every day. I spend 140+ days each year playing guitar by myself in my hotel room just to stay sane and maintain a positive focus on life. Despite success or solitude, you gave me inspiration this past month. Much appreciated.
Yes the part where Billy is telling that guitar player how to make it in today's musical World was so true...sad but true. I live in Southeastern Louisiana near New Orleans...maybe I should have driven out to Texas to go meet him...I am always looking for a good excuse to leave here anyway. Thank you for your uploads really fun and relaxing to watch. :)
Amazing 30 days. I have to say I saw the Pumpkins for the 1st time in a small club which doesn't exist anymore in Santa Fe New Mexico before The Siamese Dream album became A huge success. One of my favorite memories and greatest concerts Ever! MAGICAL!!
I wish i knew about this when it was happening. I'd have totally watched the live streams...This was an unforgettable 4 hour journey. Thanks for the window into your world, Mr. Corgan. Please, do more of this kind of thing.
Dear Mr. Corgan, This 30 Days project is the best thing I have seen in a loooooong time. It was a real treat! It is a true joy to just sit back and watch someone enjoy themselves, and listen to the insights they have. Thank you dearly for sharing this. I have been an SP fan since Mellon Collie, and, as great as music is, it is only 1 dimension of life. That is not to say it is one dimensional, but that it is only one small part of life, and there is only so much in the grand scheme that can be communicated through it. As a long time fan, this project delivered an experience far beyond what could be communicated through an album. Even though as a Canadian some of the cultural significance of some of the places you stopped by was lost on me, I was still hanging on every moment. There was a depth to this project that is so rarely achieved in media these days. It is a shame that the radio announcer in the beginning of this project was just so utterly clueless on the significance of your trip. I hope he eventually comes to a realization and gets to enjoy what he had missed. I am glad you started a family, and you all look happy. It was a privilege to get to see you all. I hope you get to do whichever projects you want to do moving forward, but either way: keep having fun and enjoy yourself :) Take care, and have fun :)
LAREDO. I loved the idea of a surprise and intimate show in a small town. I also loved the SPRINGS episode, because Billy really got in touch with Nature and had a moment of reflection and inspiration.
I wish I could meet you, you are so smart, talented and creative. I really hope there will be a chance to see you, weather that be just through a screen or I just happen to stumble upon you. Continue what you're doing Billy, I believe in you.....
thx Billy C. so many GREAT songs! my first pumpkins show was SF in 91 i think at the I beam. i actually met you by the bar there...you are an inspiration...take care
I'm not sure I understand Billy's fervent patriotism, but what a talent! The man is now, and always has been, in another realm with his music. Self doubt is the only thing that could bring the Pumpkins down.
HI, MY NAME IS LISA I LIVE IN SEATTLE AND WATCHED ALL THE 30 DAYS. I DONT KNOW BUT IT TOUCHED MY HEART. VERY GOOD. YOU PROBABLY WONT READ BUT, IF YOU DO, YOU PUT A SMILE ON MY FACE!!!!!!!!!!! TAKE CARE.
Thanks for sharing mate, awesome trip. And it showed a side of the US I hadn't seen before. We (everyone Not in the US) are so used to just being annoyed with americans, so it was good to see Real people still live and work there. And the country is worth seeing. I guess to see the best the country has to offer you need to take paths long left. The best part of seeing this series in 2019 is that I have all the albums generated from the trip (Ogilala) as well as the new Smashing Pumpkins album (Shiny and oh so Bright...vol.1). I'm looking forward to the future and can die happy knowing the Pumpkins are making new music that my kids will enjoy as much as I have in the past. Thank you for so much.
TOMORROW, TOMORROW, I LOVE YA, TOMOROW..... YOU'RE ONLY A DAYYY AWAYYYYYY...... What a great series. I enjoyed watching it and hope you make a similar one in the future.
thank you, I found it to be really engaging content. it felt like I was on holidays. Also great music and interesting interviews. It really makes me want to visit the U.S and I can't wait to hear the new album. Thanks again, as an artist and musician I found it very inspiring to watch and hear BC talk.
These have been great! I'm sure these videos will be in our thoughts for a while. It's been hardcore, gonna miss Billy, there must have been 4 or 5 hours of content. Would be cool to gather a bunch of questions about the trip and put the best ones to Billy in a month or so for a day 31 catch up! My question is: How much did they knock off on the RV deposit :)
BIlly, Thank you for sharing this journey (sincerely, it was incredible to watch). I found myself pulling up Mapquest to find each location/town. I really enjoyed Day's 5 and 6, as well as when you visited Yazoo City (what an incredible looking downtown). I am really looking forward to your new solo album, as well as everything that lies ahead. I wish you and your family safe travels!
The Smashing Pumpkins/Billy Thank you so much for replying! I am glad it was recommended to you. It is now on my list of places to visit. Having the music play through the loud speaker, mixed with the colors of the buildings really made the town seem classic, yet a bit creepy if that makes sense. Is that the vibe you felt when you were there?
Very enjoyable series. Really enjoyed when you were travelling in the south and talking to people in "dying" towns that had no idea who you were. Not really understanding the point of the RV's, if you stayed in motels every night. Why not just use cargo vans? Props to the long-haired camera man with the long beard. Really enjoyed his bits...especially as the gator whisperer. He has some real potential for acting and/or stand-up. Hope you do this again. There's a lot of America that you didn't make it to. Thanks again for filming this and sharing.
I noticed you said METAPATH in one of these right before trains :) That was really moving for me to notice you use that word. We (Delvin and I, etc) have gone way into the word meta over the years and metapath is a great one we've had often. I feel completely touched that you said it, and it was beautiful.... * Thank you. This whole entire documentary is definitely the METACINE
Billy, hello from Redondo Beach 4 Generations since 1902. My grandfather was a Freemason he's buried in Pacific Crest Cemetery in Redondo Beach. Same name as me Frank Pecoraro. he has a Freemason logo on his gravestone. He passed away of a heart attack before I was born and Inglewood California.
Billy seems like that substitute teacher who likes all the music and tv shows you do and is super cool and you wish he was your permanent teacher but you never see him again ;(
Another great Disney miss in California is Three Rivers, CA, have you been? He wanted to build a resort but didn't, it's an awesome little town at the entrance to the Sequoia National Forest :)
Because of my poor English ability, I couldn't understand what you mean but now I've watched all of your 30 days videos. That's amazing. I am really looking forward to listening to your new music. :-)
I can name every locomotive type because im a rail fan of steam. The first engine he touches is called an "Atlantic Type" 4 4 2 steam locomotive that were produced I believe between 1910-1920's and were the prior successors of the 4 6 2's or the famous 4 6 2 K4's.
Any thoughts on a Northeast adventure? There's a lot of parts of rural New England that have so much soul and energy and you wouldn't expect since the Boston/NYC corridor is generally favored over VT/Western MA/Upstate NY.
Maybe someday you'll get up to the northeast, there's a few towns and communities that are still hanging on to core parts of the Americans philosophy...with some exceptions of course. I live near a town called Essex, in Mass, and I think William would enjoy the vibe. Lots of antique dealers, new meets old. Good stuff
WPC, you should've just hitched a ride on a boxcar, because every stop you've made seems to have had an active rail... =-P I don't envy the drive you just made, because I've done... 6 times at least, including Phoenix to Portland through rural Nevada and Oregon!
If you decide to keep vlogging I will definitely keep watching!
The Smashing Pumpkins I'm excited to see what comes next. Sometimes people say they want to keep at it when vlogging but it can be exhausting so it fizzles out. I'm on board with your future projects and will happily continue to rewatch what has already been presented. Thanks so much!!
Thank you. It's refreshing not seeing the same "famous" ppl spoiled, strung out, and wasted... the Realness is amazing.
Thank you for giving us Thirty Days and showing us beautiful America, Billy. Peace.
I can't stop rewatching 30 days, billy, this has broken my heart in the best way possible. Youre such a free spirit, youre a brilliant man. I love your music and always will, xoxo Mr. Corgan. The Smashing Pumpkins Your welcome :-).
@@splendrousflame you're*
Glad the music is flowing.

this was a great series. it was awesome getting to know billy in a very human way as well as artistically.
Thanks for the thirty days. I hope your trip inspired you, as you and your work inspire, help and entertain us.
Great video project. Thanks for doing it.

Beatles cover town hall episode in Taos / "I don't think anyone's coming" Laredo.
Really enjoyed all the videos especially the ones with your family and relatives. So excited for the new music you will be putting out.
Well I guess binge watching all of the previous episodes is now in order. stay brilliant, WPC x
I adore that statement
thanks memeboy
That was incredible, thanks for sharing. My family of five has been traveling the country in our fifth wheel RV for a year now and you guys filmed at some of our favorite stops. It's been an adventure :)

Billy, I hope you release the song you performed on day 21. I find myself watching the video just to hear it. Can't wait for the new album!
day 26 has a beautiful song.
enjoyed these videos Billy.
thank you.
Thanks for doing these, Billy. Your music will always be remembered.
Blessings to you and your family. With love everything is possible.
Sadly, all good road trips must come to an end. Thanks for sharing this with us, I really enjoyed it...
Just wanted to say thanks for shining some light on my underrated hometown of Columbus GA!
What a cool journey! Thanks for sharing these 30 days. Great to see creativity and art each and every day. Thanks for taking us on the trip with you Billy.
Appreciate it.

I've loved this man many many years. I loved this so much!!! Just re-watched it❤️🤘
Legendary voice for my generation in a decade more to come that is so crazy and intense I love it

Hits so close to home every time. Enjoy it, its life, forever just die.
Dear Mr. Corgan,
This 30 Days project is the best thing I have seen in a loooooong time. It was a real treat! It is a true joy to just sit back and watch someone enjoy themselves, and listen to the insights they have. Thank you dearly for sharing this.
I have been an SP fan since Mellon Collie, and, as great as music is, it is only 1 dimension of life. Take care, and have fun :)
Loved the videos great job as always billy
The Smashing Pumpkins I really enjoyed day 25
This Thirty Days project are awesome! Thanks for posting.
Continue what you're doing Billy, I believe in you.....

thank you! i watched it every night and am already missing it. can't wait for your album, I love your style on the acoustic.
NO don't Stop Billy
This has been fun to watch. It's great keeping in touch with you. As an Australian who's never left the country, I'd love to travel America.
I had so much fun watching all thirty days. I hope you do something like this again! That William Patrick guy looks a lot like EC3!!
Thanks for sharing this. Very entertaining.
I have immensely enjoyed these videos.
Very cool, WPC. Very few rock stars would undertake something like this. And the music, of course, sounds wonderful. Rock on, sir!
Please do more videos like this! I loved it!
It's been a blast Billy. Hope to see you in STL, MO soon. Take care.
TOMORROW, TOMORROW, I LOVE YA, TOMOROW..... YOU'RE ONLY A DAYYY AWAYYYYYY...... What a great series. I enjoyed watching it and hope you make a similar one in the future.
AWESOME!!! Been with you since Gish...Keep up the amazing work!!!
thank you, I found it to be really engaging content. it felt like I was on holidays. Also great music and interesting interviews. It really makes me want to visit the U.S and I can't wait to hear the new album. Thanks again, as an artist and musician I found it very inspiring to watch and hear BC talk.
30 more days! Actually, the solo album and 50x50 is next, so plenty is a-comin'.
"I choo choo Choose you!"
Thirty Days around the USA, so have you found D'Arcy???
Hahah
Lol
Life begins at 40 years of age.
My question is: How much did they knock off on the RV deposit :)
just found these. oh. so. happy.
Very cool and fun. Thank you
Good series hopefully you will do another.
These videos are incredible man, really impressive
Day 6, i like so much the conversation you had in the kitchen, regards from Spain, srry for my english
Really good series, good luck for the future William 👍
Very enjoyable series. Really enjoyed when you were travelling in the south and talking to people in "dying" towns that had no idea who you were.
Not really understanding the point of the RV's, if you stayed in motels every night. Why not just use cargo vans?
Props to the long-haired camera man with the long beard. Really enjoyed his bits...especially as the gator whisperer. He has some real potential for acting and/or stand-up.
Hope you do this again. There's a lot of America that you didn't make it to. Thanks again for filming this and sharing.
Thanks Billy!
made a compilation/montage of all the EC3 jokes and references throughout the series
check it out on my channel!
Really enjoyed the series!
I noticed you said METAPATH in one of these right before trains :)
That was really moving for me to notice you use that word.
We (Delvin and I, etc) have gone way into the word meta over the years and metapath is a great one we've had often. I feel completely touched that you said it, and it was beautiful.... *
Thank you. This whole entire documentary is definitely the METACINE

Thanks Billy, I wasn't "Dino disappointed ".
Really nice to see so many comments about the Machina reissue on the Facebook Live clips :)

Ugh how did I miss this...
Love this. ❤
Another great Disney miss in California is Three Rivers, CA, have you been? He wanted to build a resort but didn't, it's an awesome little town at the entrance to the Sequoia National Forest :)
Keep on going....!!!!!
can't believe to see the train trip
Thanks
Because of my poor English ability, I couldn't understand what you mean but now I've watched all of your 30 days videos. That's amazing. I am really looking forward to listening to your new music. :-)

I can name every locomotive type because im a rail fan of steam. The first engine he touches is called an "Atlantic Type" 4 4 2 steam locomotive that were produced I believe between 1910-1920's and were the prior successors of the 4 6 2's or the famous 4 6 2 K4's.
Billy, you should study the history of American urban planning. I think you'd find it fascinating.
Any thoughts on a Northeast adventure? There's a lot of parts of rural New England that have so much soul and energy and you wouldn't expect since the Boston/NYC corridor is generally favored over VT/Western MA/Upstate NY.
Billy, the mirror!
Good stuff
This 30 days series was definitely censored. I wasn't notified of any of these uploads.
WPC, you should've just hitched a ride on a boxcar, because every stop you've made seems to have had an active rail... =-P
I don't envy the drive you just made, because I've done... 6 times at least, including Phoenix to Portland through rural Nevada and Oregon!
But did Gator Man ever track down the wild Corgan he was seeking?!?! I for one want more Gator man in the future. More Billy too :)
Can we please get a release of the full version of the song from "The Chicago Code" ?
