Thank you for visiting Metropolis, Il. We were neighbors in Chicago in the 80's I had studio in the Flat Iron Building, hung out played at Red Dog/Borderline, Metro and Blue Note. I was partners with J Ried in a coffee house gallery and in the band Malucasamba and friends with Matt/Sabrina at Windy City R.S. I remember when SP would practice how cool it was to hear your music on the streets and in the buildings it was an all consuming sound that you had to listen too. Miss that feeling from my youth. I would just listen and create. I attended SAIC and worked in the media center and remember loaning equipment to JI (he would make recording in the stairwells and halls) for his band "Smashing Pumpkins" which I thought was a curious name for a band and said he needed a cooler name. What did I know right? Congrats on all your success. I now have a brewcafe and studio in Metropolis. I love the slower life here and all the people. Life is good.

I run the Super Museum and I wasn't there that day... I've lived in Metropolis most of my life. My daughter's middle name is Lillian because of the song Lily. In high school I started talking to who would become my husband because he was wearing a smashing pumpkins shirt one day. Smashing Pumpkins brought us together so I want to take a moment to thank you for all your years of beautiful music, and for making my teenage years so memorable. :) XOXO

Don’t know if it’s just a UK thing or worldwide but it’s profound to say the least and some of the changes and energies I witnessed would make your hair stand on end. There’s definitely something to it..
my father was like that too. He'd curse his bad luck daily. l remember y mom telling him to stop saying it, that it would attract sorrow to all of us and it always seemed like it did. That's actually how l made up my mind to become an optimistic person

Billy in Kentucky to visit his grandmothers grave. She’s buried in Sinking Fork Baptist Church Cemetery, Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Not far from where I live.

I wish Billy would have gone deeper on the Free Mason topic. He seemed right on the verge of telling us what it all means but then ends it abruptly. I do agree with the end, stay positive and live to a hundred. It's so tough to do in a world that seems all too negative at times.
