Guys always been trash. Anyone who knows about the o and a show knows opie is a clown who has been carried his whole career. He is not anywhere close to howard stern or even Anthony. Those two have fans and followers. Opie was the punching bag and he thought he was the star and still does. Problem is no one finds him funny or likes him at all.

The fact anyone to this day takes up for Opie baffles me. Legitimately. He is completely void of anything remotely resembling talent, wit, or humor. He should be writing thank you e-mails to Ant and Jimmy and placing flowers on Patrice's grave daily for carrying him on their backs on the way to the bank.
I always appreciate when somebody can so poignantly express how truly worthless and socially/creatively inept GH is. The line about placing flowers daily at Patreeky's grave was aces, sir. 👍
@@willmyschlongro4280 It's completely true though. When Ant, Yimmy, and Patrice were together it was an unstoppable train. Opie legit NEVER had anything to add of value let alone humor. He was absolute dead weight in every sense of the word, and not only dead weight but a hindrance. He made millions off of their quick minds.
That is pretty much exactly how I see it, GH not only did nothing major to add to the show...he actually took away from it. He truly was the destroyer, and his lack of awareness about all this was honestly hard for me to believe at first lol
Before internet and social media, he was able to manipulate the numbers and popularity of HIS show. Result: $10M every two years = Jim Norton $55,000 salaried. A lot of money for lies and belches.
I was listening to old Patrice on O&A clips and I only found ONE instance of opie making Patrice laugh like jim and Anthony always does. He's a monumental dud.
Without the cover of Ant, Jimmy, the other comics and the staff, Opie has been exposed for who he really is.

If you're not subscribed to Compound Media, you should. The episodes have these timestamps on them, and the ones with "Opie" on them, are gold. Guests, other comedians, etc. with Opie stories, and commenting on his incidents and such. There's not TOO many of them, but they are SO worth watching.

The reason is evident. Your show with him and Jimmy was literally the highlight of my day a long time ago when it was rebroadcasted in Cleveland in the afternoon. I would get up very early and work out (NOT anymore - old and retired now) and work from six in the morning until three. I'd come home, check the mail, and head out to the back yard or even in the garage on rainy days and laugh my ASS off for three hours. One thing became very apparent to me after listening for a bit was that the show was powered by YOU and Jim, and Opie was just kind of steering the ship. After a while it was crystal clear that the show wasn't outstanding because of him, it was outstanding in spite of him and for me personally, some of the most memorable bits was just him laughing while you and Norton made us all DIE of laughter. Priceless and I still go back and listen here on YT to those old shows. His inability to do anything even remotely entertaining now and even two years ago when you posted this video, doesn't surprise me in the slightest. he was always the untalented hack on the show, and everyone knows it.
The best part of this is that Anthony is so old, he knows the full name of the fish guy on the box at the grocery store

Even if Anthony isn’t making a bunch of money from subscriptions, he has an actual and active fan base of thousands, while Opie gets less than 1k views on videos and almost nonexistent engagement or enthusiasm.. Also does painfully unfunny shit semi-regularly, like this video, and livestreams it like it’s remotely entertaining..

It has NOTHING to do with any chemistry or foil crap that you were spouting about. It’s simply and clearly because they’re getting older. All 3 of them are nearing their 60s, at that age you lose your quick-wittedness and become slower. And that’s very apparent in everything they do.
If they all got back together for a reunion, the only reason they would have more views for a period of time is simply because of the ‘OnA’ name. It would bring back memories.
The chemistry and synergy that they both no longer have together would NOT attract more views. I feel that that’s kind of obvious though haha, I’m not sure I’ve ever come across someone who disagreed with that before?
