Love my Air GT, driving for 2 years now. I am fascinated by the Pure, almost tempted to get one. That RWD feeling just flat out beats AWD for fun. Unfortunately I have been spoiled by the GT's power and luxe features. Maybe Lucid will roll out a coup or roadster in a few years after they start building on the forthcoming mid-size chassis. Good review. The enthusiasm really shines through. EDIT- Many think Lucids are expensive. Might be worth mentioning that a base Pure costs just less than a base Model S.
Yeah I don't get why people think everyone has to shell out 80k (price + taxes and probably interest from financing) for one of these. I pay $600 a month with $2,600 total drive off for an Air Pure lease
So I’m driving a 2024 Tesla Model S dual motor, all wheel drive, with over 400 miles per charge. So how is this a better deal with only one motor? Oh by the way, I forgot to mention, I have FSD, and so what does this Lucid Air has that’s better than that? Oh, and one last thing, I have exclusive access to the largest SuperCharger network in the world, can you say the same thing about Lucid?
Not hardly. The Model S LR for $75k gives you AWD, 670hp, 0-60 in 2.9 seconds, air suspension and far better looking with 405 MOR. For $99/month you can get the “Supervised” FSD which is quite good as I’ve experienced it myself. Why buy a car from a company that’s being propped up by a bunch of rich men-children? Lucid’s don’t even have a reliability record because there aren’t enough of them on the road. I saw one for the first time here in my area yesterday. It’s flat, wide but the side profile looks like a 1994 Buick Le Sabre. It’s ok but certainly not deserving of my business.
The version of the Pure that's really worth it with all the ADAS features, the better sound system, and the better seats starts at $82K. Call it $85K all said and done, which all things considered is an extremely good value.
Nice review. Shame it comes out on the day that the even better 2025 Lucid Air is anounced. So I take it you have some Sapphire content? Or did you think your subscribers wouldn't be interested?
Rt 9W!! I take that road down to Rockland in my Plaid all the time. Lucid is definitely a car I'll be looking at. Speaking of cyclists, do you think a road bike (like the one you passed) can fit into the trunk without taking the front wheel off?
I think it should come standard with vented front seats, heated rear seats, and a heated wheel. Something like a Toyota Crown has vented seats up front in a 43k car.
No BMW or Mercedes comes standard with heated or ventilated seats either…. You are comparing a upmarket economy car to an entry level luxury vehicle. Totally different stuff here.
@@Allcarnews still, that is absurd. The 30k model 3 has heated/vented seats. I don’t care if it a Rolls Royce, Cadillac, Mercedes, BMW, Lincoln, Imperial, Packard, or any other luxury brand. Unless it’s sole purpose is performance, a luxury vehicle in the 70k range should have heated/vented seats on the base trim.

Air GT owner, you captured exactly why people should want this entry level Lucid, Range, Power, Handling, Luxury, Fun. Nothing else to say!
Thanks!!
If only it can drive itself…
And no more to pay.
Just ordered one. STOKED!
Let’s go Lucid, the best is yet to come 🔥🔥🔥

Right on!
Insane! I may have to get one
Over 400 miles of range!?😮❤❤❤ pretty awesome 👍✌️🫶
Amazing cars, waiting for them to be in the UK
They are on their way!
It’s an attractive car…with great mileage. If it’s less than $70k, the price is palatable.
I had my sight at Touring but this video is so well done and convincing now Pure is looking super attractive.
Great review. I’m waiting for gravity (need more space) if that’s too expensive will go for this.
Love these. Way ahead of Model S.
Galaxies ahead
how so?

Great review. Looking forward to Lucid Gravity going into production this year.
You and me both!
Looks like part 2 is coming soon cause they just announced an even better, longer range and lighter (84kw) 2025 model of the pure 😂
2024 would still be the one for me. Better incentives
2024 is 88kWh, 2025 84kWh with the same range.
@@lowvaeater incredible efficiency from the lucid team. This is what EVs are about

I would not got for the 2025, incentives on it are not as good, you miss out on a bunch of credits.
Definitely recommend the 24 Model Year.
I do
Agreed!
I am considering it now that it's more affordable I hope they keep dropping that price to make it a no brainer
Just wait for the next model coming soon. Will be affordable for everyone
I’m leaning towards a touring (and a gravity), but nice showcase for the base model!
Good choice!

1000% that trunk is huge. If anything maybe fold one seat down. And awesome to hear!!

The 2024 Pure has an 88 kWh battery. 2025 Pure has an 84 kWh battery.
It seems that Lucid doesn't prioritize providing infotainment for passengers in the front and back seats. Personally, I find this to be an issue.
Really? It’s very unpopular in the US market. They were going to make a system but there was no customer interest
How can it have regen on front wheels without a motor there? It can't.
@@MR_sea6 it regents in the rear wheels as its rear wheel drive

I wouldn’t call it garbage but for me I don’t like the company and the car doesn’t excite me at all.
