i think ppl today doesnt give mj enough credits this era bcs we tell them the numbers without context. like his time playing as a pg is something i know how great it was but today for someone who doesnt know it its actually worst than westbrook. so maybe we should say like out of his teams 90 points (which kinda was the average) he averaged like 35 which is like almost %40 of his teams with %50 fg etc.. now its not the same 35 in todays game where everyone scores like 120.

If he could have been such a dominant scorer in the regular season, then he should also own the scoring record books in the postseason as well. Even if he was still losing to the Celtics. But what I have found is that Jerry West seems to have the better postseason scorer. West also won Finals MVP in a losing effort, with Wilt Chamberlain as his teammate.
