Respect to Jerry West as well 46.3 leading Championship avg. That is what should be spoken about not points but avg. Over ex amount of years. Thank you for your videos. Always fun to listen to.
Real GOAT stats. The meaningful ones. The winning/leader mentality, IQ/skill stats. Knowing how to take over the most important game stats. Everything else is just Mike playing w his food. If you can pick and choose the times to exert yourself and dominate, you're great. We all know what happens when the fake goat activates playoff mode 😅 that means his teammates better not miss or they'll get traded! LeBron has a system that doesn't win unless other teams get injured, his teammates are damn near perfect and the refs are on his team. His play never gets better. He's not top 10 all time great.
I am relatively new to your channel. I am loving your content. People need to know more about the truth of MJ. I cannot believe people dislike videos despite the facts in front of them.

@ it was always him we all expected it and he delivered over and over again do not get me wrong the bulls were a talented and cohesive team but Jordan was that guy
Absolutely. And that's the thing that people who didn't live it can ever understand. We knew sometimes he lost but we always knew 100% of the time he's gonna do anything it takes to win. That mentality created some amazing performances to watch and thats why we always tuned in. Someone we could count on.
Been wanting to mention this in like 4 Jordan videos now...Jordan rocking a gold chain while playing is cold as ice man. The more you look into Jordan the more insane his stats are its creepy man.
@@TheRealMindCrime Can I make a suggestion or a contribution? It's about Jordan's performances in the championships. By the way, the main objective of the game is to win the championship, right? In the playoffs, no one led their team to the championship with a points average as high as Jordan. Points are important, if the ball doesn't go in the basket you don't win the game (excuse the irony, but it won't take long for a kid to come in here and try to contest the obvious). Jordan scored 35.1 ppg in 1993, and 34.5 ppg in 1992. These are the two highest scoring games in history. In third place is Olajuwon (what a great player) with 33 ppg in 1995. Jordan also did the same with the most important advanced statistics. Among all the players who led their team to the title, in their respective campaigns, Jordan was the highest scorer in Box Plus/Minus with 14.63 and in PER with 32.04. Both in the 1991 playoffs. No other player has ever managed to lead his team to the title with these records. The most incredible thing about all this is that all these statistics, basic and advanced, are easier to achieve in today's basketball, which has been played for a decade now, or let's say after the end of hadchecking. To see this, just look at the difference between Jordan and his peers and the same for Lebron or Jokic and their contemporaries. I'll give you an example: Jordan career PER Playoffs (important: year by year) difference in score to the leader in each year or the runner-up if the leader is him (Jordan) + 5.31 (plus 5.31) Lebron in the same situation Until 2020, at 35 years old and champion (Mickey Cup, but anyway...) - 12.68 (minus 12.68) Until 2023 (not counting the 2023 playoffs) - 23.2 Seen from this angle, the difference between Jordan and Lebron in PER, for example, is much greater and clearer than the 0.70 (28.6 versus 27.9) that separates them in their respective careers. Anyway, all this shows that Jordan's performances, especially in the playoffs, were more dominant than is often supposed.

6th man of the year. kind of weird he put it on there. The only top 50 player i can think of that has a 6th man of the year award is Kevin McHale (he has 2). Oh, and pretty sure Walton won 1 in 86. Don't think anyone else did. + they only started giving out the award in early 80s. John Havlicek would have won a bunch of 6 man of the year awards, right? And he's a top 20 player of all-time. Talk about underrated as well. I guess the Celtics know their 6 man stuff? Any other greats that would have won it in 60s, 70s, very early 80s? Did some quick searching and Hal Greer - 75th Anniversary team, 7x 2nd team All-NBA, 10x all-star, all while 6th man. Oddly enough he started a bunch of games his last 3 seasons right after his prime was over, after his last all-star season etc. Also, Manu. HOF, no 75 team. Hell of a player obv.
We have plenty of evidence that Michael Jordan is full of respect, especially when it comes to the players who came before him. His admiration for the great Jerry West is well-documented. In an interview, MJ even said that it’s unfair to compare eras, showing his understanding that he has no right to discredit or disrespect former players and their time. This is why Jordan is also highly respected by the older generation of players-a fact that is well-supported. You can easily find proof through a simple Google search or by watching TH-cam videos. 3:07 "I swear I won't do this the whole video", proceeds to do it 10 sec later. I'm dying 🤣 8:18 For those who didn't know either (like me): "The National Basketball Association's Sixth Man of the Year Award (colloquially known as the 6MOY) is an annual National Basketball Association (NBA) award given since the 1982-83 NBA season to the league's best performing player for his team coming off the bench as a substitute (or sixth man). A panel of sportswriters and broadcasters from throughout the United States and Canada votes on the recipient. Since the 2022-23 NBA season, winners receive the John Havlicek Trophy, named after the eight-time NBA champion. "
Here's a bit of stat for you. The best player from ALL of MJ's Finals opponents are either the MVP, MVP-Runner Up or the DPOY 1991 - Magic (MVP Runner Up) 1992 - Drexler (MVP Runner Up) 1993 - Barkley (MVP) 1996 - Payton (DPOY) 1997 - Malone (MVP) 1998 - Malone (MVP Runner Up)
missed opportunity to make video 23:45 6MOTY= 6th man. Also another stat: Jordan is the only guy to win the MVP triple crown in a season twice. He won Finals MVP, MVP and ASG MVP in 96 and 98. The only others to do it? Willis Reed and Shaq, once each. In the same vein, he is the only multi-time member of the 200 steal, 100 block club. Joined by Hakeem and Pip who did it once (pip made it by 2 blocks). Arguably should be a 2-time DPOY. Jordan has the finals record for shots made in a row at 13. Capped off by the Spectacular Move. So he set Finals records in each one of his first three championships. Two of them still stand to this day. The classic Shot commentary is usually Jim Durham and Johnny 'Red' Kerr, the Bulls telecast... this one seems like the Cavs version. Cummings averaged .25 more pts per game. Since the series went 4 games and he was ahead by a single point he outscored MJ by a quarter point per game.
i think ppl today doesnt give mj enough credits this era bcs we tell them the numbers without context. like his time playing as a pg is something i know how great it was but today for someone who doesnt know it its actually worst than westbrook. so maybe we should say like out of his teams 90 points (which kinda was the average) he averaged like 35 which is like almost %40 of his teams with %50 fg etc.. now its not the same 35 in todays game where everyone scores like 120.
@@TheRealMindCrime True, but that was later on in his career. The biggest reason why I don't have Wilt in my top 5 all time is the lack of dominant postseason scoring performances. If he could have been such a dominant scorer in the regular season, then he should also own the scoring record books in the postseason as well. Even if he was still losing to the Celtics. But what I have found is that Jerry West seems to have the better postseason scorer. West also won Finals MVP in a losing effort, with Wilt Chamberlain as his teammate.
If he didn’t go to the dumpster of nba with Wizards and went to an actual good contending team he’d have even more accolades. Yeah sure he was 38-39 but I bet he’d turn it on in playoffs.
Yeah indeed the bulls lost to pistons for the course of 3 years, but the idea, that noone in the pistons outscored MJ in that span... And the idea that only the bulls swept/broomed them (1991 ECF)...a sweet bold revenge
LOL, MJ would go 50 against JJ Barea, like how Bryn Scott once said, MJ asked him who is going to guard him tonight? And Bryn said some rookie ( sorry can't remember the name ), MJ replied..." Ha, 50! ".
I told you, the more you look at MJs career on granular level, it will be more freakier than what we already know about his achievements. MJs a cheat code that does not cheat unlike the fraud that still struggles with his deficiencies on his game even with cheating.
Oof. You do NOT want MJ giving you that side-eye look like he did in practice. You're about to get punched or absolutely worked by MJ. That list of 10 at the 19:14 mark should tell fans one thing. You're looking at a list of absolute killers. When any of those 5 guys got going (which was pretty often), you and your team were toast. Here's my one MJ story that I witnessed in person. Bulls at Spurs probably '89 or '90. Early in the Admiral's career, but still a good team. Even us fans knew the only way we win the game is to keep MJ out of the lane, make him shoot jumpers. The Spurs did just that and won the game. And MJ didn't play great. How many points did he drop on us? FORTY. A bad game and he put 40 on us. Jiminy Christmas. You know what? He just might be that guy.
It's crazy when you realize it only took 11 total years to achieve what he achieved.
Thank you…I love back to back Jordan days. After growing up on Jordan, he still surprises me.

6th man of the year :)
Ty!
6th Man of the Year
🙏
1st!!!
6MOTY is Sixth Man of the year
And they say Lebalco's stats were more impressive 🤣
Sorry this comment is 4th but I'll still give ya a medal 🎖
@@TheRealMindCrime thanks man 😁
✊️
missed opportunity to make video 23:45
6MOTY= 6th man.
Read West By West....Jerry West book is a great read and then some.
Oh thanks for the suggestion 👍
8:31 - Jordan should've cumulated those accolades 5x , the '97 Bulls had the best record overall, and MJ led the league in scoring.
6th man of the year...Jordan would never
😆
Yeah, how can a 1st placer in 6th place 😂
i think ppl today doesnt give mj enough credits this era bcs we tell them the numbers without context. like his time playing as a pg is something i know how great it was but today for someone who doesnt know it its actually worst than westbrook. so maybe we should say like out of his teams 90 points (which kinda was the average) he averaged like 35 which is like almost %40 of his teams with %50 fg etc.. now its not the same 35 in todays game where everyone scores like 120.
The real disturbing playoff drop off wrt 50pt games is Wilt's, not Harden's.
Considering how many times Wilt dropped 50pts in the regular season.
Yeah critics called Wilt a ballhog so he started racking up assists instead of points to prove a point lol
That was a good video.
🙏
6th man of the year (6moty)
Thank you 🙏
6th MOTY (man of the year)
If he didn’t go to the dumpster of nba with Wizards and went to an actual good contending team he’d have even more accolades. Yeah sure he was 38-39 but I bet he’d turn it on in playoffs.
Agreed. His team was pretty bad though. But he could've legit helped a team win a ring
6MOTY= 6th Man of the Year. Don't know why he has it as no one on this list got it.
thank you!
MOTY = 6th man of the year.
Ty!
Jerry west averaged 37 shots per game
Jeez lol
6MOTY is the 6th Man of the Year.
Cummings scored one more point total than Jordan, not per game.
Ty
imagine if they let MJ stat pad like some folks. they used to rest MJ if the bulls were up by 10 lmao.
1988 the Bulls lost to the Bad Boys in the playoffs.
I thought so. Ty
Yeah indeed the bulls lost to pistons for the course of 3 years, but the idea, that noone in the pistons outscored MJ in that span...
And the idea that only the bulls swept/broomed them (1991 ECF)...a sweet bold revenge
(The Robbie Harvey) SUNS FANS LOSES IT, Is this you when taking someone to your date?? lol
Lol
6moty (6th man of the year)
I'm the only one who missed that one lol. Thank you 🙂
@@TheRealMindCrime I wasn’t on the spot in a voiceover. We all stumble. :)
Lol true true. Sometimes i brain fart then just have to move on
I don't know if anyone answer what 6moty is yet. But it's 6th man of the year
Thank you!
Nah terry cummings scored 1 more point total during the series
Yeah that makes it even crazier
No, that wasn’t one point game average in his first series, it was ONE total point for the series.
🎯
Damn! Thats even crazier
@@TheRealMindCrime I believe as in points per game, it's 0.1 PPG difference, and one point in total.
But Jordan never faced JJ Barea during the playoffs. Lol
LOL, MJ would go 50 against JJ Barea, like how Bryn Scott once said, MJ asked him who is going to guard him tonight? And Bryn said some rookie ( sorry can't remember the name ), MJ replied..." Ha, 50! ".
😆 🤣 😂
Didn't the Bulls lose to the Pistons in 88?
That list is crazy huh? Lol
Thats a goosebumps
Lebron might be in adult diapers and still hasnt achieved MJ level.
😆
LOVE JEERY WEST BUT HONESTLY THE NBA WAS INFACT NOT WAT THE NBA WAS WEN MICHAEL PLAYED... MIKE HAD IT TOUGHER
Yeah i think from 90-2010 was the peak
What the f*** this guy is insane, stop this stupid comparison no one comes close
Seriously lol
Bro, how u can say 60 times when chart is showing 30 max😅 Bun nice try 😅
Sorry i don't remember that. My bad if i did that
We know Kobe was a better player than Jordan. Jordan was only the point man used by the Bulls.
I disagree but I think they're both great and the top 2 to ever play the game
