Forestry England caught landrovers driving illegally into grizedale forest video # 764 03/07/2024

Forestry England caught two landrovers driving about in Grizedale forest in the trees off the legal route. A no plan E mtb ride for me which includes climbing the top section of Lawsons. The two landrovers can also be seen pulled up half way down the legal route after the Forestry England lady had told them they shouldn't be driving where they were. From where i washaving my butties it sounded as tho he thought he was being smart asking her what she was doing filming them, when she asked them what they thought they were doing he tells her "greenlaning" ..... I think by the time they got half way out on the legal route and pulled up looking sheepish that it was sinking in they were going to get reported to the police with her video evidence. I'll have a walk into where they had driven and film the damage caused by them in the boggy bit next time I get up to the Fox

@@preachblue I'm pretty sure I have chatted to the landrover guy at the same spot a couple of months earlier, he had overnighted towards Bogle crag and approached me from a fire road that isn't legal while I was having a breather at the fox and pretended he didn't know and left by the legal route after a few minutes
