Don’t stop at watching this review. I encourage everyone to join the club and watch the Star Wars Time Show regularly (especially their live shows/podcasts)! Been listening to them for almost half a decade at this point, and they never disappoint!
Hot damn!! This show is definitely off to a great start and I love how much it’s getting all us fans hyped up, reminiscing, and speculating what’s next!!!
On Jad, 1 single credit seems like a message to me. I think he was set us, knows it and is waiting for his chance. Maybe hell have to chose revenge, or saving these kids
Silvo equals Long John Silver, Treasure Island. But SM33 is captain Hook's crew, Peter Pan. Which could make the two main actors.... Wendy and Peter? One a determined realist. More adult then child. A leader. The other a dreamer with his head in the clouds. That can't leave any button un'pushed. lol Sounds like a meddling Jedi to me.
Thank you formally this background informations! I love this show! I love Star Wars and felt very entertained, thanks to your infos I understand the story better. Love that!
Didn’t Jude Law play Hook in “Wendy & Peter Pan” that Disney put out a few years ago? The droids name being another possible hint for Law being under the helmet and the Onyx being his ship?
Yup he was in a pan movie directed by one of the Skeleton Crew episode directors. I don’t think Jod was on the cinder though. That ship could very well be 1000s of years old.
My take is that Silvo (law) has been ordered by Brutus to find out the whereabouts of their planet and they would follow. The key is a trick. Or he’s just doing the long John silver thing and trying to get his crew back by stealing the treasure. Or….Batman
A lot of what is happening with At Attin smacks of cult behavior, especially Whim's Dad. He seems overly strict. There is more to him than meets the eye. It appears there is an ulterior motive to get his son back, as if he is afraid of what Whim might do to give away Attin's whereabouts in the galaxy.
Lotsa people thinking Wendle is up to something. I honestly just took his scene this week as a dad shellshocked from seeing a space ship come out of the ground with his kid on top of it. We shall see though.
So doubt it, but what if this is the planet they build into starkiller base. They come in basically taking over, not even by force but by imitation? It's just a theory, not a great one.
Starkiller base was Illum so good guess but that canon is settled. I don’t think anyone in the current timeline knows about the planet outside of what they consider to be myth or legend. I do agree that something shady is being done on the planet though to keep it so secret. Some sort of resource or possible weapon maybe.
The COG is based on the Republic Cog, which was the Grand Republic symbol, not old republic, so yeah a bit odd xstarwars.fandom.com/wiki/Republic_crest
Turns out its a forgotten fortknox with only stand alone defences, which yeah...pirates specialy the big omes easily imvade a planet if there was profit in it.
@StarWarsTimeShow I do agree, but I think the planets being part of the galactic infrastructure, exchange of informations and goods, had some idea about the Republic and the Galaxy. A part of people wouldn't be interested in such knowledge at all. Others knew at least something, pieces that they got from newspapers, rumours, or what interests them. I have no doubts, that people in general wouldn't know much about Palpatine. Obviously this planet has positive view of the Jedi, It's isolated rather than directly isolationist - on the At Ati are at least interested or informed about the factual general informatios about the current status of the galactic events. They call the republic of clone wars, Palpatine, Valorum as The Old Republic as Obi Wan did in the desert some years earlier. They maybe do so, because of the knowledge of the New Republic, because It's not the ancient Old Republic of Revan, Bastila or Kreia.
The kids are authentically annoying :D Great performance by their actors. Hope against hope that: Even the biggest jerks in the audience do not vent their frustrations on the kids and that Disney will properly protect and defend them.
The galaxy knew mandalore existed though, they just stayed away because they thought the surface was toxic from the Empire bombing the crap out of it. At Attin is truly a mythical planet that only the inhabitants truly know exists.
Fair point, the screens weren’t a thing yet at that time. But you all definitely had more access to video games and hand helds than us old GenX people.
@ thats true, i definitely agree with that but when i was a kid (born 01) we still had rich imagination, i remember climbing trees with a plastic lightsaber thinking i was a jedi lol
I know one of the writers on the show. At Attin is a hidden planet because it’s the birthplace of humans. The show will later be confirmed to be earth. Yes earth will be introduced and it’s able to be introduced because it’s a gateway to a multiverse. Where marvel characters will be introduced and it will bridge marvel and Star Wars together.

Hell yeah
Bro imagine if this was episode 7 instead. Fern is already a more compelling character than Rey
One thing that keeps going through my mind is that we never saw an establishing shot of the planet. Maybe At Atin isn't even a planet.
Very interesting indeed, can't wait to see how it all plays out.
Loved your recap! Algo win. Subscribed 🎉
Makes me happy because the algo hates us! I’m not even sure how this vid broke through a bit but thankful for it. Cheers!
This show has been a breath of fresh air so far
Heck yeah and I think it’ll hold all season
One of the pirates in the opening scene boarding party was the dude Mando smoked in the cantina in Mandalorian’s first episode.
Tate Fletcher?
@ Yeah
Great recap man and a great start to the series
Thanks clone!
On Jad, 1 single credit seems like a message to me. I think he was set us, knows it and is waiting for his chance. Maybe hell have to chose revenge, or saving these kids
Jod definitely very intriguing. Way more to him than meets the eye.
Great video Matt! Can’t wait for the show tomorrow!
Thanks bro!
I agree with everything you said. Skeleton Crew is a good-to-great contribution to The SWU.
Cheers!
Kudos to acknowledging the ANH parallels.

Only one channel has mentioned that SM-33 stand for SMEE as in captain hooks boatswain. clever as can be.
Excellent breakdown, sir! 👏👏👏
Thanks for watching!
Captain Silver. This is Treasure Island, and I'm OK with that.

Onyx? Would that make it a black pearl?
I like the way you’re thinking.
Could captain silvo be the jedi that will join the kids?
Yeah I’m with you. Jod is Silvo.
My take is that Silvo (law) has been ordered by Brutus to find out the whereabouts of their planet and they would follow. The key is a trick. Or he’s just doing the long John silver thing and trying to get his crew back by stealing the treasure. Or….Batman

Lovin it!!
Woot!
Cpt Silvo = Cpt Long John Sliver.
They both weaseled they’re way into the trust of a child to find treasure island/planet
Skibidi toilets warned us but we still believed the camera people were the good guys. In fact it was the opposite all along
What cartoon was that still of the High Chancellor standing next to Yoda come from?
Young Jedi Adventures, think there are at least two seasons on D+ currently. Def kid focused but not bad from what I've watched.
@StarWarsTimeShow thanks. I'll have to check those out
I thought I heard slight yinzer 1:56
100 man born and raised but sadly haven’t lived there in a long time.
I just hope we get to see some iconic star wars pirates like hondo and maybe the crimson corsair if he is around yet
Hondo should be a layup but these days doesn’t seem like creators are down with fan service. Hoping for the best.

First Star Wars ever to show a blaster being cocked.
Buy Silver , Platinum , & Crystalized Osmium.
Theres a Jedi in the 2003 clone wars TV show that is the same species as Brutus, a Shistavanen.
Love that clone wars!
@@StarWarsTimeShow me too men, one of my favorites star wars media.
Wim isn’t the fall guy, he is THE one who fked up - against the will and advice of all the others at that. Don’t make him better than he truly is.
Haha! True enough 😂
This show is very cool. I’m getting a Brutus action figure, when available.
Big bad toy store has his black series in stock as of today! Got one myself.
@ very cool 👍
Am I the only person who saw the Imperial Cog on the gold credits he had?
The COG is based on the Republic Cog, which was the Grand Republic symbol, not old republic, so yeah a bit odd xstarwars.fandom.com/wiki/Republic_crest
Fern - sitting on the bench outside the proctors office was channeling Charlie Sheen in the police station in "Ferris Beuler's Fay Off"
Nice!
Turns out its a forgotten fortknox with only stand alone defences, which yeah...pirates specialy the big omes easily imvade a planet if there was profit in it.
Well now we know its defense was pretty legit against pirate ships.
It can be hidden because of the Clone wars, the most probably. Maybe the Hutts, the Nihil or anyone else.
I keep seeing this will be a limited series but man do I hope we get a season 2, I wanna see these characters grow ho
You never know. If the positive fan and critical reactions continue, they could justify another go.
The show is working better due to the writers and directors.🤗
Definitely helps!
It's not old republic like before the high republic, but old republic like said Obi Wan, like before the Empire.
First two episodes feels like goonies remake.
Wiat the hutts are a whole family not just jabba.
Yes
@@StarWarsTimeShow well ypu speak like the whole hutt cartel got taken out or something.
agree
They missed the part after clone wars, but they know about the end of Republic.
See I don’t think most of the citizens know much about the galaxy happenings outside of those in control like the supervisor.
