The bundle comes with a chart to fill in the temps so you can chart the temperature range for your area. Kimberly is sewing hers in One Fine Day, using the FQ bundle.
The pattern will be released mid-year and basically you sew two FG units a day - one for the high and one for the low temp. That gives you 365 blocks. 362 go on the quilt front, with 3 extras (for the back or pillow). It takes 9 of the FG paper pads (1.25” x 2.5”).

Good morning fellow quilter. At the age of 81 Iam slowing down, so won’t be joining you on any projects. Darn it. I so enjoy your show. Now I have a question? Do you do ALL of the quilting? If you do, how do you do it? Do you follow a 48 hr.day in your part of the world? LOL. I’m also busy with husband with dementia and he will be going into a home in January. Gloria I'm a business. So I pay a longarmer to do all the 3 layers together for me. I also have one friend that helps me sometimes to sew blocks. the rest I do myself
I have a maple taffy candy recipe from my Grandma. It was my favorite growing up and I still love it.
My goodness so much to do, how can one keep up?😮 Life is busy , hard to work in all these ideas. Maybe one is doable and can be used for donating 😊.

I live near Oshkosh Wisconsin, where the EAA is held. I've been there it's so much fun. Meet a lot of nice interesting people. Always wanted to make an airplane quilt. I'll put it on my list.

Catching up 24 hrs later...20 inches of heavy wet snow and resulting issues. Can't wait for the sew alongs, prepped for the Butterfly and Childhood Memories. Not sure how many others I will start as Sewcialties and Scrappiness is Happiness are also ongoing. Merry Christmas to all.
Interesting to find out today is Maple Syrup Day. Might have to make pancakes now. For my son-in-law’s Christmas gift I bought pint size jugs of maple syrup from both Vermont and New York. We live in NY so thought it would be fun for him to do a taste test and try both. He loves pure maple syrup. I on the other hand buy whatever costs the least.
Hi Pat! I watched Kimberly yesterday & I had never heard of a Temperature quilt! I shared the info with a friend & I'm pretty sure we're both going to do it. I don't have any FQ bundles-or fabrics resembling Kimberly's, but we will be on the hunt for what to use. I also looked up Jay Bird Quilts that Kimberly referenced & she did a column-type quilt using a half hexi & it looks like the French Braid! I'm on board with that layout, plus it requires very little background fabric! Being in Texas as well, we'll need a lot of "hot" temp colors 🤣
Well, you aided my habit. I just ordered the butterfly quilt kit. It was on sale at Fat Quarter Shop if anyone is still needing to buy theirs. I wanted to do this quilt when the first quilt kit came outs but resisted the urge. I could not resist any more. I can’t wait to see how it comes out! Merry Christmas to you and your Hubby!q

Bookcase quilt would/could you use selvage as the book spines? Spool & scissors quilt is so cute too (love to do it too). Temperature quilt, IF I made that it would be very simple, thinking 4 patch with high & Low temps & background reflect sunny or rainy day. If I get behind, record temps & conditions on a calendar. I am two weeks away from finishing my temperature quilt for 2022. I will post a picture on Facebook. Used the Temperature Quilt Pattern, by Canuck Quilter Designs.
I am going to make a temperature counted cross stitch for 2023. It is a bookshelf and you stitch a book a day in the appropriate color. Planning on stitching a weeks worth on Sundays.

Idea 💡 for temperture quilt
I was thinking that instead of doing 2 flying geese you can do 1 hourglass and piece together the inside part first with the 2 fabrics for the day tempetures.
I love the quilt behind you what fabric did you use. I have your pattern for that so would love a sew along. I have the Tula pattern and kit and much more fabric than I need. Isn’t that the way with all of us! 😂. I will be sewing with you on the butterfly, can’t wait thank you ❤

Ha ha re the temperature quilts. Where I live in North Queensland, Australia I’d have one colour, 🥵 for most of the year and then one week of cold! Pretty boring quilt so it’s an easy decision not to participate in that one! Thank goodness!
