The fun thing is, I watched that from a ship in the Atlantic that is a bit smaller than the original Enterprise. Being on a ship at sea makes watching space combat a bit more entertaining.
@@RetroBadgerGaming, Some good views of stars. Some good views of clouds. One night had a very good view of some very fun thunderstorms. With the waves, a few people got very good views of their lunch.
Someone wishes to challenge me? 4:13 I had it at 2470. According to the "TNG: Technical Manual" the Galaxy-class took 20 years to develop and I wanted to give a sense of gravitas to it as it often seems too easy to design new starships and technologies. I made it so that it would work as a ship that came after the USS Phoenix (Ascension-class) and give time to have the quantum slipstream drive mature a bit.
You know this makes me wonder how would an early 25 century fleet fare against a normal Borg cube. Like the battle of sector 001 but with 25 century ships instead.
😳gosh The Ent H. is High Octane lol. Jiminy Crickets Admiral.. 3 Excelsior 2.0 wow.. and bet Sulu would love to have this.. and hmm He is still in shape, too bad could not give him a show with that ship, that would be perfect to watch.. Love both ships, so hard to say.. since so many beautiful ships out there and you showing new ones. again Admiral I am lost.. lol love the battle and tactics.. gosh.. lol The Ent H.. is a proper Flagship.. gosh.. and I could hear you hitting the key on the computer lol. oh my.. ! 😊🖖 *One thing got right, the Excelsior 2.0, no more flying off nacelles. very good,!! lol
That would have been so cool if they'd brought Sulu into Picard Season 3. Imagine it. We got Chekov...sort of, well his son. LOL. Yes, the nacelles appear to have been improved on this model 😂
@@RetroBadgerGaming Yes I would have thought.. Sulu would have made it more of a link in Picard to base Star Trek.. and yes, guess they fired the ones installing the nacelles. oh my lol 🤔😂
Yeah at the end you were disabled and pretty much had no shields. With out being able to fly out of range yeah you were caught in the explosion. I laughed every time you exploded. Yeah it's possible the "official" G was in service for only 2-3 years then the H came out. I do like the H's design very cool looking. When you were facing off with it with 2 other Excelsior 2.0's if I were you while the others were pounding it, I would have gone for the H's sensors. Try that next time if you do 3 Excelsior 2.0's versus the H. Try going after their sensors while the other two give the H a pounding.
Love your channel. It really brought my love for bridge commander back. I am having trouble with the mods though...ships with more than 2 tops like enterprise h only let me use 2 of them..the others don't show up in my top options. Any idea how to fix this?
The only problem is that these are all just different "body styles". Like when they refresh a car, but didn't actually change the platform. They just used slightly different bumper covers, tail lights, grille, etc. There's so many of these ships, that it's like that. For instance, why couldn't you just retrofit an excelsior to be the excelsior 2? Their technology would be so awesome that MAYBE the frame would be reason to just build a new ship. Everything else could be installed in a matter of hours. You could beam out the old phaser banks, and beam in the new phasers that were 10 generations newer. And just keep doing that as time goes by. Same with everything else.
Agreed. All these newer trek ships are too samey… they’re all swooping lines and glowey bits, with no real character or charm to em.. Makes Starfleet seem so… Apple.
This is why battleships are battleships. This is actually more equal than the old battleships. During WWII three heavy cruisers had almost no chance against any post-WWI battleship. The armor was simply immune to their 8-inch guns.
ahhh, this is the incorrect version of the H for the balancing of the Excelsior 2. This one is so OP that it can destroy my Enterprise I. I wont say that its bad, cause its not, but its a different style of balancing by another person.
Yarp, the version of the Ent-H was one I updated as a test for my Remastered install, and she is a monster, basically a colossal threat for challenges...😂
4:13 if we're talking about the canon Enterprise G, the former Titan A, I don't think she'd be in service long. Maybe 10 years at the most. She just doesn't have the tonnage. If that was the case and Titan A was decommissioned, Starfleet would do without an Enterprise for a few years, the leap in tech is too great. If we're talking the Bridge Commander Enterprise G, the Eclipse Class, I can see that thing being in service for quite a while, maybe 40 or 50 years which would put the Enterprise H around 2450ish. I think that's reasonable.
I was referring to the Titan A. It's certainly no Excelsior class! I almost wonder if it was turned into a ceremonial ship. Maybe a diplomatic, or science ship.
😂 Aaaah, you sound very knowledgable on these things. Have you read Gul Dukats "Why I'm so great at everything"? The hardback version features fool proof battle tactics.
Enterprise H: I go down? Okay, but you go down with me. Ha! 😛
I? I don't see the Gemini Class or Alexandria Class ships...😅
(Those are the class ships for BC Ent-I concepts)
5:09 I see Starfleet finally invented the Corbomite Device for real.

If it took 3 Excelsior 2.0s then I think that 2 Sovereign 2.0s could defeat the H. Good battle 👍
3 whole generations behind. It should take more ships tbh

Man I really want to get the Excelsior 2 in STO but man that thing is expensive when it's actually on the market.
You smell rock is cooking 😊🎉
How about Excelsior 2.0 vs. X5 enterprise A’s? Now that might be good

This was really cool, gives me an idea though: how many Titan-A/Enterprise-G's would it take to bring down the REAL Enterprise G?
The TV version is the real Enterprise G
Boom sweet
HINT: don't announce your strategy to the enemy. It makes it easier for them to develop a counter strategy against you.
😂 Aaaah, you sound very knowledgable on these things. Have you read Gul Dukats "Why I'm so great at everything"? The hardback version features fool proof battle tactics.
Not short as the Enterprise C lol BUT more effective that prevented 20 years of war with the Klingon empire! lol
Excelsior 2.0 or Enterprise H vs Borg cube
When it takes three of the second best starship to even fight to a stalemate, you know the Enterprise H deserves the title of flagship.
I'd like to see how the newer line of enterprises go up against the dark timeline ships
Now the Question, How many Lakota's to take out the Enterprises H
(Computer voice:) Core breach inminent...
How about Excelsior 2.0 vs. X5 enterprise A’s? Now that might be good
Depends on the Ent-A mod, but in general that would be in favor of the Excelsior II
