If DS9 can withstand the full furry of the Klingon empire, the scimitars are just combat drills. Put the DS9 with quantum torpedos and just watch the pretty lights.
Shirley they would have updated some to Quantum launchers and have even more fire power. Indeed there was talk of additional fusion reactors coming on line to give additional power and redundancy’s. I suspect that the upgrading the station never stops! Could even give it some phaser lances to give it some more firepower. Take care all M.
Due to the limitations of bridge commander and the mods used for this fight the scimitar is missing 3 of its major abilities that make it truly overpowered. 1. The scimitar has primary and secondary shields, this has two effects, the first being that if you collapse the primary shield grid the secondary can take over before your follow up volley can strike the hull. The second is that when the scimitar is cloaked the secondary shield grid is active keeping the ship shielded while cloaked. 2. The scimitar has the ability to fire weapons while cloaked without revealing its position to the enemy. 3. The scimitar has the thalron radiation weapon capable of killing everything on an entire planet. They can fly up and kill any ship while cloaked so long as their shields are down. If the scimitar has its full range of abilities badger could have stayed invisible and shot ds9 until he won without getting hit once. If the AI could use this ability if the scimitar badger would have to use manual control of the phasers to try to counter strike the scimitar while he was being sucker punched by an invisible ship.
Things all space stations (probably) need as a standard loadout: 1) Auto balancing shields since you can't really turn the station's strong shield towards an enemy. 2) Point defenses to automatically stop torpedoes or other fast moving objects from impacting the station. 3) A Sisko ECH stuck in permanent sexual frustration mode.
For #2, I'm picturing a 24th century version of the navy's Phalanx CIWS, nasty things, they are. Maybe some kind of "under powered" phaser array or a phaser cannon similar to Defiant that can fire super fast over and over that doesn't require as much resources at the main phasers. I mean, you're only taking out torpedoes, right?
Unironically a close matchup, to the one guy who said about how ds9 could take on a fleet of 30 Klingon ships, the reman warbird actually has almost 60 heavy plasma cannons, and 23 s3 torpedo launchers, and the radiation bomb which was great in power than the E’s entire stockpile of QUANTUM torpedoes, 2 scimitars are equivalent to literally 2 fleets of klingons. In terms of cannons alone, 1 scimitar is equal to 20 galaxy classes firing, and its torpedoes equal to 16 galaxy classes.
I love DS9, and this was great (as always) but if one of the Federation's most advanced ships (Enterprise E) couldn't triangulate the position of the Semitar, I don't think a station that "cobbles together parts from three different races", and is only understood by the one officer who left to go teach at Starfleet, will find the Semitar while cloaked! 😂
The Scimitar can fire while cloaked. Hit the station with the thaloron radiation and everyone is dead. It only takes one Scimitar, if used the way it was designed to be.
I would like to see a battle between the Scimitar and the Shrike, both from the Picard era! It would be an interesting battle... Thanks for your videos, they're brilliant!!! 👍

😨oh my Admiral.. at the start, the fly bye of the Scimitar gosh .. I know DS9 is soo powerful... and amazed at that too. gosh but 2 Scimitars did take it out lol. eeh. Sorry Dylan and Quark..lol.. but what was that UFO.. oh gosh.. freaky.. hmm.. I have to go see that episode, saw when they took back from the Dominion/Cardassians but I forgot. love the battle Admiral, and lol when in the Scimitar, Saffi right away said '' Do not fire on friendly targets'' hmm lol... !!😊🖖
At first I thought that only one Scimitar could defeat DS9 until you mentioned that DS9 took on a while Klingon fleet on is own. Also, could you put the Scimitar against the backup fleet that it would've fought had it gotten past the Enterprise E?
Quark should supply them with quantum torpedoes 😄. They cost a little more, but they're worth it. I forget which rule of acquisition that is, but never let friends get in the way of profit.😄
Ds9 should have won easily the first time around too. The thing can go up against 50+ starships. Not even 2 Scimitars would be able to go against that kind of firepower (especially when DS9 is able to dish out photon torpedoes in rapid succession). On the flip side, DS9 DOES have manoeuvring thrusters which the crew used to push the station to the mouth of the wormhole in less than a day by lowering their inertial mass via putting up a low level subspace field around the station (which greatly improved its sublight speeds - this is essentially what starhips do under normal circumstances and why sublight velocities in Trek are at least 75,000 km/s). Granted, being at the mouth of the wormhole, the station doesn't have much anywhere else to move, but it did have to readjust its position multiple times... so it DOES have engines... its just they're not really used most of the time. Ideally though, the station should be able to at least turn during combat to distribute the incoming weapons fire to the shields - and because of the low level subspace field lowering the station's internal mass, its ability to turn in various directions would be comparable to a ship) - wish they actually integrated this option into Ds9.
Would have been interesting if the defiant was within ds9 shields and started firing its phase cannons and quantum’s… I think this would have ended much sooner
Don't show Sisko? more like don't show Chief O'Brien! LOL O'Brien: Bloody Romulans! I just finished these upgrades! I'm not surprised the station held up against two Scimitar's activating a self destruct and then ramming into you. Imagine if both did that a the same time? I wonder if the station would have still survived. It just goes you to show how powerful Sisko made DS9.
@Retro-Badger-Gaming (Request) - Try putting the eclipse class, against a standard borg cube. But when I tried at first, with the whole ship together, I inflicted some damage, but was suddenly destroyed, by their powerful power beam weapon, however another time, i tried separating into MVAM mode, and the borg cube took much greater damage really quickly, and was destroyed after a few minutes, with only the loss of the thunderbird section sadly. So please if possible, recreate the video, and try it both ways, as I’d love to see! I think it is something to do with that if you separating into multiple ships with the eclipse class , the borg cube takes far much damage on multiple vectors/sides, but if you just try it with the main ship together, then because of the high rate of shield repair/recharge, if you just focus on say one vector (side), at a time, for some reason it fails. Because the borg cube has some sort of powerful graviton or beam weapon, that if you get in the wrong spot, it will blow you to bits.
The one time DS9 doesn't need a full makeover.... A+.... Scimitar on the other hand needs a full makeover in a Starbase....IMO..... try Dominion refit DS9 vs Big E aka Enterprise F, 1 vs 1.....just a suggestion
At 3:26 DS9 redistributed their shields because Miles O’Brian and plot armor. But the people want to know how many GRAND NAGUSES would it take to beat DS9???
I guess Star Trek Bridge Battles can't do ships firing while fully cloaked or the Scimitar's compliment of fighter craft? Nor can it, I'm guessing, do the Scimitar's most deadly weapon, the Thalaron Emmiter.
A cardassian mining station vs a weapon designed to wipe out planets. A single Scimitar enough with it's thalaron strike to kill everyone on DS9. Cloacked fire shot out most of the weapons, then scorpion fighters do the rest, while the Thalaron weapon load, and DS9 dead. Also, the Scimitar can destroy the same Klingon fleet alone. Even Picard needed a thelepatic crew member to find it.
If DS9 can withstand the full furry of the Klingon empire, the scimitars are just combat drills. Put the DS9 with quantum torpedos and just watch the pretty lights.

How to find a cloaked Scimitar... Carpet bomb space with torpedoes
Don't show Sisko? O'Brien's gonna go on a full Irish rampage!
Did you know its cloaking tech had been so far advanced that it was tori telepathic ability that help the enterprise so know where it was her
Give it some quantums and multi-targeting and watch the fireworks display. ❤
I thought the scimitar had primary and secondary shields?

Crazy mod idea: DS9 but with Alteran Drones (Stargate) instead of Photon Torpedoes.

A battle with DS9, 3 remote piloted runabouts, and the Defiant would be fun.
Didn't DS9 just have two runabouts and what were the names was it the Rio Grande and something else
For some reason this made me so happy LOL😂🎉❤
DS9 has got so much weaponry, they would be able to find the two Reman Warbirds and eliminate them.

i am pretty sure that in canon the station is capable of multi targetting, as you can clearly see that in the way of the warrior.
It all depends on which mod is used. There is an updated one which fires multiple phases and can target a whole fleet like on the show 🖖

Reman Scimitar vs Assimilated Scimitar.
I have not seen video of Scimitar fire it main weapon? Is there a case of Thalaron firing?
How strong is DS9's hull supposed to be compared to that Rodinium outpost in "TOS: Balance of Terror"?
I suspect that the shields are far more of a factor. You can only make physical mater so strong.
Interesting battle 👍
At 3:26 DS9 redistributed their shields because Miles O’Brian and plot armor. But the people want to know how many GRAND NAGUSES would it take to beat DS9???
You should do a dark time line DS9 vs something idk
RBG quantum DS9 vs Earth space dock
Chief O'Brien and Rom are going to be busy
You would need 1 or two defiants two make it a fair fight in addition to DS9
One day you can try to get the other space station. They'll look like d space night
I hope everyone has had a good day
No Defiant to aid in defense?
sisko would so say that to :D
How about a DS9 quantum upgrade.......
I don't see 5 Scimitars taking out DS9. It can effectively carpet bomb space if it wants to.
I guess Star Trek Bridge Battles can't do ships firing while fully cloaked or the Scimitar's compliment of fighter craft? Nor can it, I'm guessing, do the Scimitar's most deadly weapon, the Thalaron Emmiter.
There is a version of the scimitar that fires whilst cloaked, but it's very underpowered. There is no Thalaron emitter though.
This game looks weird, all the power has been removed from DS9 so it can behit.
Could DS9 destroy a starbase?
Of course DS9 would win. It takes that silly Scimitar vessels 20 damn minutes to fire their big gun.
Its quark's fault captain.
How can I get bridge command for windows 11?
Good old games sell it 🖖
Scimitar uses the Thalaron weapon and it's all over for DS9.
Again. The AI is idiotic.
