Lol, I wasn’t going to say it because English IS my first language and I still say plenty of words wrong……. Like Worcester. I just can’t say that right! Thanks for the great tips🤗
Really? What’s your first language? And 😂😂 I wasn’t gonna say anything about how you pronounced it just in case you were actually pronouncing it correctly even though I’ve always heard it pronounced shuh- kneel. I didn’t want to be THAT person! 😂
Thank you for all your tips especially the eyes and the sewing on arms and legs. I am new to crocheting with chanel yarn. You just saved me some headaches. ❤
Great tips-especially number 1 & 5! The Lionbrand Naptime yarn is a 4 weight and it doesn’t shed or do what you showed in to number 3 I think it was? But because it’s a 4 weight , most plushie markers wouldn’t use that yarn! If only Lion Brand sold that yarn in bigger weights
Oooh! I’ve seen that naptime yarn and it is so nice! Haha yeah 😅when I make plushies, I’m like “well, it could be small… or big… so big it is!!” I’ll have to treat myself to some naptime yarn though! TY for the rec! 🧶❤️
Hmm uhh🤔 chenille doesn’t have ply? Like there is not multiple strands spun together-it’s just 1 tube 😅 does that help maybe? What are you looking to find out?
Would you be able to make a video showing how you sew on the pieces? Do you just like... tie a piece of regular yarn onto the chenille or is there some other way to do it? Hopefully that makes sense. :) I'll be working with chenille yarn soon so I will take all this into account when I'm using it!
About to start my very first project for grandchild gifts. At a loss for guessing how much to buy. What is a good WAG? #6 is the suggested size. 15” is the anticipated height.
i have the same yarn as you and im having sooo much trouble 😔😔 i cant see the stitches I make but i guess it doenst help that I only have a size 9mm hook and thought i could get away with it.
Tip #6 chenille is pronounced shuh-neel 😱😱😱
I was today years old when I learned this. Also, English is not my first language 😤
Lol, I wasn’t going to say it because English IS my first language and I still say plenty of words wrong……. Like Worcester. I just can’t say that right! Thanks for the great tips🤗
Quite all right for u to say that its ok we all say some things wrong. Lol!
Great tips! This magic ring tip is 🎉. Make that one a short. I’ve been searching for that very solution as a new puffy yarn user. Thank you. ❤️🧁
@@QuiltedCupcake Thank you SO much for this idea! I made it into a short! ❤❤❤

One of the best set of tips for working with chenille yarn. Thank you!
Ugh thank you!! I just kept starting over because I swore it must be a tension issue or something.. but this fixes it
I find that using increments of 8 instead of 6 for rounded pattern works very well for this type of yarn. It svoids the cone-head problem!
Thank you! Using smaller Chenille, Just Chenille but still great tips for that too. Thank you. You explain clearly and make it feel less intimidating.
I like the safety eye tricks.
❤️❤️I’m so glad you found that helpful! ☺️
The timing of these tips as I am trying to make gifts for friends with chenille yarn... thank you! I thought I was going mad from using the yarn!

Th k you
What crochet hook is your favorite to crochet this chenille yarn? I am really having a tough time with the one I’m using. Thank you.
