I have fallen in love with this yarn! This is such a super helpful tip!🧶
“Doesn’t come off super easily” my yarn did nothing but fray IMMEDIATELY 😭 I was so excited to try this yarn and now I don’t think I’ll buy it again. It’s been so problematic
Thankyou this is a great tip
I just finished a baby blanket made with Premier Parfait. I didn't have any trouble with it fraying, but good LORD it gets so twisted up (I pull from center). I would have to stop crocheting every 15-20 minutes to spin the skein around over and over to untwist the yarn. Very frustrating.
Awesome technique! I'm working on a project now that I was wondering how I can secure the ends. Thank you! 😊
Great tips!
are they making a more inferior yarn product than they used to? mine is not as chunky as the one in this video and it frays if you look at it.
Lol you need to close your eyes 😅
Very helpful! Now if only the yarn didn’t worm.
Agreed. I crocheted a baby blanket and the border started worming 😢
Worm?
@@amydavis4945 "Worming" in relation to chenille yarn means it stretches over time and creates worm-like loops
@@amydavis4945 The stitches come loose and look like worms.
@@PamperedChefConsultant Oh. Thank you for explaining. I've never had that happen.
I bought some chenille yarn that's fraying from the very beginning
Does anyone know how to prevent stretching of this yarn so your project doesn't have loops all over? I made a baby blanket, washed it very gently and the yarn stretched and the blanket was covered with loops. I frogged and redid the entire thing, then washed very gently again... and now it is better but still have some loops, not as bad as the first time though.
Same problem 😮
