INCREDIBLE!!! I have a cotton yarn that would frequently break when doing the magic circle... I really wanna use it up and practice with it until I get better at crochet, but haven't been motivated because of the breakage. THIS may solve that problem. I just made a plushie octopus and it took 5 tries to get a magic circle that was small enough the fuzzy covered the little hole I couldn’t get closed and it would’ve saved me so much time if I’d have seen this when I googled for help the first time🤦♀️ I’m definitely going to try it tomorrow or I’ll find a better yarn!

I can’t seem to get it to work. I’ve tried 6 xs. Still locked up and breaks. Not sure what I am doing wrong
Chain3 then slip stitch into chain 1 then crochet in that hole over the tail. Do NOT make a magic ring first. Hope this helps
gotta make sure to carry the tail inside of all your stitches if the first round
