This looks great. I was looking into getting a smith machine, but this would be so much more convenient. Would love to throw this on my rep fitness rack. I do have the ares on my rack, but it looks like this may work with that. I am looking on the website now, what is the difference between the first two products- VTS vs VTS lite ?
With the VTS you’ll be able to add more attachments like a footplate for vertical leg presses, shoulder pads for hack squats, and more The VTS lite won’t be able to have all those attachments added to it but can still be used as a smith machine or high/low pulley
Damn, this is going to be their next isolator. This is an awesome concept. If you haven't already thought of it you should look into making a leg press attachment for this.
Question… I have barbell and I have a Mars Bar for squats. Speciality bars are a much bigger diameter than a barbell. Is it adjustable to accommodate all barbells and specialty bar diameters?
Will it work with your solo stands or will you have rack that can be used with it? Or best to get a rack somewhere else and just use this as an attachment?
You either put it over top of the upright or remove one side of the unit which is a handful of Allen bolts and slide over and put side back on. Not a huge undertaking but not something you’d wanna put on and take off constantly It’s better to either leave it at top of the uprights or all the way at the bottom so they’re out of the way when not in use
Another question - how much unobstructed space is needed on the backside of the trolley? I am planning my rack and there will be a side mounted weight stack and wonder if it would be possible to install this on a post just in front of the weight stack. The weight plates won't be an issue, just the mechanism on the backside of the post. Thanks!
What is the status on this? we are getting a functional trainer, hopefully one built into rack (e.g. rep athena, ares) but if not maybe an all-in-one machine such as Force USA because of it's Smith machine which would be great for my wife and recovery. So, please let's get this out soon! Have a release date?
On second thought, if you have the weight stack option of the athena, there might not be enough room for the trolley in-between the stack and the upright. Ares or plate loaded should work.

thank you. can u have a video going over both the curve and straight design. not understanding how that is working, the straight pin latching device. a visual would help significantly.
@@troydefond2307 the straight option is for uprights with holes in the front. The curved option latches on to a pin going through the uprights laterally (for those who don’t have front holes)
If you have the space then a smith machine is a good option but if you don’t, this is for those who want smith machine exercises within their existing rack

It’s not hard to remove but if you have to remove it often during your workouts , it won’t be convenient
