Too bad they didn’t send you the Campbells. They were designed and made for the 3rd best looking equipment reviewer on TH-cam.
Tried, but they said they were always sold out because everyone and their mother wanted them... - Coop
@@GarageGymReviews coop are you doing another November sale 2023
Brandon are doing November sales black Friday 2023
@@GarageGymReviewsdo they fit bells of steel
I have hydra bos do they fit?
Very clean and super nice stuff. Really impressive. Thanks for the great review Coop!
Yes! smaller company reviews are great! I like this format of video!
…I’ve bought several items from these guys…never disappointed…very impressive functionality/appearance…👍
I love this video, helps me find things I didn't even know I needed/wanted.
ATTACHMENTS: please do a video on Maximum Advantage Grips (MAG) compared to the knock offs. You did a video waaaaay back when and mentioned the knock offs in passing. Would love to know: 1. Are they worth it 2. How do they compare to knock offs 3. Which one or two or three should someone get to get the most bang for the buck
I have the BLUSLM knock-offs from Amazon. I bought these instead of the MAG grips because the shipping on the Mag grips was ridiculous and as much as I'd rather buy US-made products, I can't justify spending 2 or 3 times the amount on something functionally similar.
Anyway, I like them OK but ergonomically, I think I'd prefer a brand with more of a rounded/bar stock type upper lip to grab a hold of, like the Blazzed brand (but who knows, maybe I'd hate that once I tried it). Otherwise, ergonomically, they're pretty great and have become a gym favorite among folks willing to try them. One thing missing from all brands that'd be cool, is a cut out in the handles to allow the use of straps or Versa grips since my grip gives out long before my lats/back.
As far as build quality, I bought mine to donate to my gym (owned by my best friend so I help buy gear he might not think of/be able to afford and that I wanna try).
So far, they're holding up pretty well, being as abused as they are. It's been maybe 6 months and they get tossed around and thrown into a storage box filed with other cable attachments. They're not treated gently. The coating is holding up well. One knock on them I read about on Amazon is the collar in the attachment holes is fragile. Per one reviewer'd suggestion, I installed anchor swivels with a bit of locktite to keep the wear and tear on the collars to a minimum. It seems to be working well. The collars look like new.
So, I'd say if you want to save a ton of cash and don't mind buying Chinese, the knock-offs seem well worth it. Again, I'd have bought the Mag version if shipping was reasonable (I live in a part of Alaska where shipping is often prohibitively expensive or unavailable so I don't blame Mag for that).
Hope that helps.
The rough UHMW might be from water jetting the parts. If they were individually milled, yes they’d be smoother, but they would also be a LOT more expensive. Water jetting parts lets you make potentially hundreds of parts at a time vs only a few depending on how big your mill is.
Plus, its gonna get marked up getting hit with a loaded barbell eventually anyway. I say its a win.
Love great accessories but going over board with them causes a massive space issue trying to store them
Not an issue when you buy REP accessories though. 😂
BURN!!!!!!!! @@jamestonbellajo 🔥😆🔥😆🔥😆
I have some Magpin 2.0s and 3.0s and I agree, the 2.0s are so much better. Wish they’d go back to those
Couldn't find that basketball hoop on their site.... I got kids and that would probably help me out a lot
Really like the step up attachment. Might have to buy that
If you need more suggestions, I just ordered some items from Darkolifting that I'm super happy with. I moved recently and my new garage is a LOT smaller and my storage options were limited, so I grabbed their 'anchor' and 'dock' attachments and now I can store most of my bars in the rack without getting in the way. Everything but the safety squat bar fits great; it even fits, but the shape of it makes it unwieldy. They have other items the audience may like, too.
I have the blue Darkolifting Anchor with my Rogue 32 mm Squat bar on it since it is only used in the rack.
@markhalstead2386 oh, my ssb fits, but the handles stick down awkwardly. I have the double anchor, so if it is on top, the bottom bar is im the way, and if I have it on the bottom slot it hangs down too far and hits my head.
Just a personal problem, but still love the anchors.
100% do this video for Darko lifting!
Need a rep Arcadia review! Looks like a great upgrade from the 3000 possibly.
Great video. I'd like to see this format for other companies who offer unique stuff.
I love Oak Club! And I also have been asking them to bring back the V2 Mag Pins 😂
Those James 2 J-hooks look really well designed. Many of the similar hooks have way too high lip and its impossible to stay tight while unracking for bench press. Also very good looking.
thank you so much for helping me build my home gym brother
Hey man. Nice content. Have a great day.
Thanks for showing those details! I think I’ll go with rogue since I hate when things wobble around
Met the guy… We live close by… real down to earth and humble. Commercial gyms would also benefit from his videos as well 🤙🏼
Would be interested in seeing more from them and other smaller brands
I just bought the alpha spotter arms used off FB marketplace and I couldn't be more excited! Great value used, not sure I would buy them brand new.
can't find the basketball net on their website :(
Great accessories. As far as the mag pins go I would prefer the Fringe Sport ones. They are cheaper and I’m happy with them. They also have a longer shaft at 5.5”.
I have a 6 bar vertical holder from them, which is really nice.
Back when you went to PRX, curious about the mini rack attached bench that can be used for leg extension and lat pull.
Also curious on your review of the Wall mount Athena vs what PRX is offering
Liking those spotter arms.
Coop please take a look at Mikolo's lineup next! Especially their M4 Smith Machine Squat Rack combo and their new PC02 3" x 3" 11-gauge steel rack with some nice attachments like leg extension/curl and jammer arms.
It's a rep clone, not sure he will do that because rep may get pissed.
Hi Coop, would love if you can make a series of best home gym setup for different sizes, e.g. small area (50 sqft2), medium (~150 sqft2), large (250-300 sqft2).
🇨🇦🇨🇦 so glad to see a Canadian company. The shipping costs for the American companies make buying from them cost prohibitive
Yes, the basketball goal.
Would love to see reviews of Irwin fitness and gorilla fitness stuff 😁
Gym hacks
I thought you’d appreciate these home gym hacks and assembly tips I’ve learned over the years
1. Put fat gripz over the MAG pulldown attachment to do triceps push downs and other various movements without the need to take the time to switch attachments. Making this amazing pull-down attachment even better
2. Use the Rep Adjustable Bench Leg Roller Attachment to make the adjustable bench into a passable preacher curl
3. Assembly hack: get impact driver and Allen Key drill bits that allow you to replace all Allen keys and make all assembly 100x better (works for anything that needs Allen keys)
4. Assembly hack: Get ratchet and drive sockets (and/or impact driver attachment), nuts and bolts on with ease.

when are you bringing out the matte black friday information. is rogue doing it for the month or just the week?
Could you do more reviews of different brand accessories and fitment? For example, how does a Rogue Monster Rack Storage Panel fit on a Sorinex Apex Rack.
I need that hinged step.
Oak Club quality is insane.
tempted to drill out all my 3x3, 5/8 to 1" at this point
I can not find the basketball hoop attachment. Does anyone have a link to it?
When's the video coming with the coop test on the Grip Genie from jujimufus clips
I should have done more homework before I bought my equipment. I should have bought local!
Can't afford this though so maybe I'll just order a sticker lol.
Thanks for this. However, I am locked into the 2x3 5/8” with my Rogue R3. It’s certainly strong enough, the attachments I do have are not too bulky or expensive. But it’s unfortunate that most if not all of the development of attachments is focused on 3x3. I don’t want to sell and repurchase everything. I’d appreciate any attention you could get for this ignored sector. Thanks!
Is the step up platform too small that you will start hitting the uprights when you are doing the exercise?
I was gonna buy that basketball hoop and it doesn't exist on their website hahaha
Same I reached out to them about it lol
@@WhiteFlightLLGdid you ever get an answer? I’m also looking
I have the wessy and like it
I can't find the hoop for sale on their site :/
i was actaully super excited for the basketball hoop but i dont think they sell them
i dont see the hoop on their site?
Why isn't the basketball goal on the website?
10:29 Wessy pros and cons, would like to use it on a rack as a pull-up bar option
We're getting into "Basement Brandon" territory here lol..
Where the prices and purpose is so niche for the majority to actually care about.
I mean you’re not wrong.
…try the ‘Campbell’ hand holds…they’re vertical and very useful…I use’m all the time…
I can buy a high quality rack for the price of the spotter arms. And the Loius Vutton style print? On the nose.
Rouge doing Black Friday? Any insight?
you should review black widow training gear next
Review crandall fitness rack and bench.
would love a garage gym reviews UK. So much great stuff on this channel just seems a nightmare to get in the UK, like Rep for example
They have the Jay-M for curl bars. It's cool, but $309.00 is expensive for a piece that basically does one thing.
No love for the campbell handles ? I know a Basement Brandon who will surely feel a little left aside :)
joking aside, oak club makes some awesome stuff !
They need to make the spotters in 5/8” size. I’ll be first in line to buy.
Does anyone have any Black Friday info for any of the big gym equipment companies?
I'm assuming we'll get it. Hopefully someone will have kilo plates on sale.
I'd love to see a review of the bullet pulley, bully glyder and other ways to have a pulley/lat pulldown in a small space (no stand alone).
It Canadian. Does it come with a bottle of maple syrup?
how much OC payin you to do this?
Anyone know of anyother Canadian companies? There's Iron Bull Strength which was our Rogue before Bells of Steel just started copying Rogue. There's a bunch of stuff I'd like to buy but the shipping and taxes are insane. I wanted the Rep Athena but it would have cost me almost two thousand more than the the hydra, with a lat pulldown attachment and two cable towers. Thanks in advance!
check out Irwin fitness
Primo Stuff. I want the long AF j cup (Series 1?)
Let’s get the rack to review .
The playing card graphics and cutouts look really dumb to me, but love the idea and looks solid
Nice to see Coop finally admit to enjoying balls hitting him. :)
Check out the company Get RX’D. I haven’t seen you do a review on their racks or other equipment.
No review on the Oak Club 9 bar vertical holder or t-bar row stand? You literally left off two of their best accidents accessories.
oak club is the goat
The Plastic is going to be rough once its in use anyways. With a surface like this, individual scratches are not as obvious.
Good morning, it is nice to be the first comment
The price on Oak Club stuff is so high that "if you need to know the price, you cannot afford the item" as compared to similar items. If I had a Rep Rack or something similar, I wouldn't get any Oak Club stuff for it mainly because although I like them, they are just too over priced for what they are.
Can anybody help me out with a similar channel for Australian gear or at least gear that ships from Aus?
This is cool, but I really need the Nike strength review. I’ve been a home gym owner for almost a year (basically all my equipment has come from GGR reviews), but a sneakerhead my whole life. I’m hoping my love for both collide 🙌🏽It’s holiday season, so I need to let my wife know if it’s a new pair of kicks or new barbell/kettlebells this year 💪🏽
Probably rebranded imported stuff sold at the price of USA made gear.
Why would you buy from some johnnie-come-lately to the market outfit like Nike? There is so much good gear out there from companies that have been in this space for years. That is doubly true for barbells. Hard to see how their bars can be better than American Barbell, etc.
When’s the Nike review? I’m thinking about getting the bumper plates.🤔
It's rebranded imported stuff sold at a premium because of a logo to people who generally don't know any better.
@@bmstylee yes, but it’s a pretty good price for an imported speckled bumper plate. Some companies even ship it with free shipping.
Free shipping is such a scam lol@@landoncarnes1635
Can’t find the basketball hoop
You should review Darko's stuff next. The shorty, longy, thrasher pad, etc
From Nike branded Chinese crap to this. THIS is what we want.
Thats the coolest calf raise I have ever seen. This one will be better than the crappy one I made out of wood. 🫣
Only 300#s on the bar while squatting? Must be Coop's warmup weight
their name should be Yoak Club not Oak Club
missed opportunities
"Got crap laying all around your garage floors, so you got a storage place to put more crap, so that then more crap can then go onto your floor."
Coop, please get out of my garage.
Am I the only one that cant find the basketball hoop?
5/8 hate here huh
Are you using spray on tan? Your arms and legs are really orange looking in the video.
Bridge built out of Colorado is another small company putting out some nice quality equipment/designs
They’re out of Cincinnati!
Thought they were out of Cincinnati
I don't like the logo design. I wish it was just plain grip tape
I thought you squat 600 for reps?
Rack is expensive for a Basic Rack.
Freak Athlete Nordic Hyper GHD ...
Stealth arms vs oak spotter arms.
It’s annoying and amusing you share the basket ball attachment that Oak Club does not intend to stock anytime soon
Crandall Fitness
Thankfully no 5/8. My wallet and marriage are safe.
Coop you let me down with you Rep reviews- I thought they were going to be top of the line- bought rack with plates, bar, and cable attachment. Worst quality material ever for top dollar- Bought not even a year ago and bar, rack, bench, and plates are all rusting. Safety bars flaking- major disappointment-
Do you have a link to the review, would be interested in seeing it.
sounds like you have a moisture problem
I've only had my rep rack for about a month. I'm not really that impressed with the powder coating. I definitely notice wear around the holes. I'll keep an eye out for rust and keep a vile of nail polish handy. At the very least stainless steel uprights should be offered by a company that caters to the home gym market.
I don't buy your story, Rep has warranties, if there was an issue, you would have gotten replacements
@@rin1502no I don’t have link
Boo, where’s the Nike reviews
It will be rebranded white label imported stuff with a Nike logo.
Title of video should be renamed to the most unnecessary accessories ever! 🤦♂️
