    I agree, the comics gave us a definitive ending. In the show we got the series finale which was very open ended. Then TOWL wrapped up the CRM and Rick made it home but we still have DD and Dead City going on so we never got a proper ending to the TWD universe. If both the spin-offs end without some type of reunion and closure it's going to feel like a really hallow ending to the universe

    I think that the real ending of the walking dead univers will be a sad one ... Because major general Beale mentioned that there is millions of walkers and huge herds and he was destroying other cities to take their supplies because it's the only way to survive ( because there is no production, no factories, no mines....) so now the crm is helping other communities sooner or later the resources will run out ... ( Also Andrew Lincoln mentioned that he want the old story back of starvation and surviving ) But it probably will take more than 15 years to get to that situation

    Great video!! 7:27 - can you give further into how the Kirkman lawsuit made the main show end and turn to spinoffs instead? Also what is the relationship with AMC and Kirkman like today?

      Excellent Topic, Daramonts Too cause his win caused the cancelation and Amcs response being endless spin offs.

    I feel like at this point we really just have to take TWD main series and TOWL as really the start to finish.
    Although I know we’ll see Rick and Daryl ruinion at the end of the Daryl show, until then, this is what we got!

    Love the video. The comic gave us a conclusion and epilogue at the same time. The show TOWL, gave us a conclusion. So, I’m conflicted man. Awesome video 👍

    Someone once said to me that the side characters are more well developed in the AMC adaptation, therefore making that version of the franchise more superior, but I'd disagree as the story is meant to focus on a man and his son within the apocalypse and how they learn to adapt in this new world, having it focus more on side characters (Daryl, Carol, Maggie etc.) Only opens the flood gates of a possibility that the main characters can potentially be replaced due to their now lowered stature in the adaptation, therefore retracting emotional depth and impact from their respective character arcs (Rick and Carls) as there are many just as meaningful arc's flourishing alongside there's that completely veil the true intentions of the original story. Every character should in some way have an effect on Rick or Carl no matter what they're doing, this does not mean they're not allowed to grow as people but it means they should serve a larger purpose of advancing the larger story that being how Rick and his son Carl learn to adapt in this new world under new circumstances at every major checkpoint in the story (the saviours, whisperer, the commonwealth etc.)
    Having these characters fulfil their own propehices takes away from the strongest and most philosophical prophecy in the whole story and that's how Rick Grimes develops a new world order and from his many triumphs successfully builds a new world for his son to thrive in at a great cost, that was always the goal, that's what the entire story was about and it should've stayed the goal for the AMC adaptation, sad to see what they did to the franchise, it has no real purpose anymore other than to be mindless entertainment with no deeper meaning with action hero characters who are immune to death.

    for me the walking dead ends after season 9 episode 5 then the ones who live is the final ending for the show every else just feels like filler and great video i also think that rick needs to die for everything to end officially but i also doubt amc will ever kill him

    Personally I’ve only read the comics and haven’t seen the show aside from the occasional clip, but I honestly think Judith should not have been killed.

    Will you consider playing Telltale Walking Dead and filming it? It’s one of the best Walking Dead media; on par with the show and comics.

    Yeah they really fumbled the ending of the main show with Rick and Michonne missing and Carl dead. I do enjoy a lot of the Post Rick episodes, but they probably could have ended the show in the Season 8 finale

      If anything, Carls death in the show was similar to Andrea’s death in the comics. Not at ALL like Rick’s death.

    Really don’t like either of the show’s “endings”. Let’s be real, they’re hardly even endings. After rewatching the ones who live I really didn’t enjoy it.
    It was SO contrived and convenient that it was laughable. Couldn’t stop laughing through the whole thing. It was borderline embarrassing to watch.
    And the final two episodes were genuinely fear the walking dead levels of bad. Definitely wasn’t worth the wait. Should have been at least a full 16 episode season.
    The comic ending is MILES better than the show. It was perfect. The commonwealth arc is so much better than the show version.
    I don’t know why they bothered doing the commonwealth arc in the show, it simply doesn’t work without Rick and the other missing characters. I’m always baffled when people say they don’t like the comic ending.

    • @KurokamiNajimi
      @KurokamiNajimi หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      People don’t like it because it’s not satisfactory to watch the MC die after all that. Not only that but the way it happened. I get the logic for it but the execution doesn’t really hit maybe if they at least had Rick flashback through his life before he’s shot or if there was a scenario where Rick got bit and he has conversations with important characters before going off

    • @sassquatch212
      @sassquatch212 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@KurokamiNajimi can’t lie I didn’t find it satisfactory at all to see everything go their way, encounter no resistance and return home and have a happy ending. The comic had a happy ending but at the cost of ricks life. There has to be a cost.

      It baffles me how people will harp on the comic ending but love the shows ending. At least the comic HAD AN ENDING. Plus the whole Commonwealth arc in general was better to me, Dwight and Ricks conflict, a new side to Michone, those two things alone are better than anything we got in the last season. When I read the comic ending, I hated that it ended, but I felt like I was reading a conclusion, watching the shows "ending" I felt like I wasted my time and felt cheated

    U two teasing a cross over is bull shit ! With that being said
    Let’s make his death weirder let’s get Tracy to do it . Sets up crossovers with everybody and makes the most sense , tying into my way of making the threat of the fast walkers more valid. if u had to continue the fear character minus Alicia cause will be dressed up for another show if she does. Madison will run out of oxygen before she meets Rick tho.
    Now make a cross over video with each other already god damn it ! ❤️
    U two are Jimmy neutron and Timmy turner with walking dead content 😂😂😂.
    U two are men enough that can assist who’s who in that scenario.
    This has been ur favorite cup of ice water and u have been chilled 🧊
