for not having that tank mounted, you did Allright bro. I've watched a ton of these to learn how to do it on cars, but this was only my second bike tank vid, so kudos.
This reminded me of the first time i wrapped my tank.Since then have been to classes. Tank needs to be attached and pull vinyl with aerodynamics of tank. Falls in category of hard to wrap. I was told if you can wrap a car mirror, you can wrap anything. Gas tank is similar in shape
Thats a big difference. Judging by how it turned out, I imagine you can get away with minimal body work and the vinyl will hide small imperfections and look really good. Thanks for the video
Interesting. That actually looks easier than I was expecting at the start of the video. After a couple practice rounds with it, I imagine you could get a really well laid application in a lot less time.
But make no mistake... It looks easier than actually doing it... I've done my tank twice and still not happy with it.... I'm going to try one more time.....

If you do this in Indonesia, then I'm sure your business will close in the not too distant future. Sand the damaged paint surface first, to install the film, try not to pull it too much, just heat it evenly and trim it according to the nature and texture of the material, don't force it or fight it. If you already have film material that is of fairly good quality, you should be able to maximize your installation. This is very different from those in Indonesia, we only have a few brands of film material that are of poor quality.
That does take time. Why don't ppl simply paint those parts. The surface needs to be prepared anyway, which takes the most of the time. The paint job is quick. Only the drying will take time.

At least a yard to be save
won't leaving your bike out in the heat of the summer sun cause the wrap to shrink and split?
No, if you do the proper post heat I kills the old memory of the vinyl and creates new memory of the shape it’s in after being wrapped
