I actually did the first wrap on my own car (clear bra) and it came out nicely. The techniques used here work. After seeing this video, it reaffirms my thoughts that the process can be simple and I even came up with much of the same technique on my own just through common sense!

I wrapped the hood of my 2002 Black F-150 about a year before I sold it. The paint on the good was not looking so good due to the clear coat milking up for some reason. I wrapped the hood with gloss black vinyl one afternoon. I told a few people but not many knew it was wrapped. This was my first wrap and I did a pretty good job of it. When I went to sell the truck I told the new owner about the wrap before he bought the truck. He liked it and bought the truck. 3 years later it still looks good from what the new owner says. The wrap cost me about 45 bucks and about 2 hours of time. If that hood wasnt wrapped I know the new owner would of tried to talk me down much more than he tried.

ik this is half a year later but putting a screen protector on your screen is so simple. get your screen as clean and dry as possible (use wet wipes and then a microfiber cloth if you have them) and the second you take the film off the screen protector, lay it on your phone and let gravity naturally pull all the air out and if there’s air left, use a card or your fingers to push it out
@@tubixtz It means *exactly* that. Reducing anything by 100% means you have nothing left. You've removed 100% of it - it's gone, not there, lost, finished, all over, the end. Reducing it *to* 100% would mean it had previously been increased by a certain amount, which is now being removed again, leaving 100% of the original item. So, what Steven said is quite correct. Of that, you can be 100% sure.
@@k1ng401 Yep, but if he *had* decreased it by 100%, he could have, more or less, charged more for it - just not 100% more.😁 It would have made life *so much* easier if he just sprayed the ******* car.
Its quite interesting to me that hes using triangles. I work in the industry of 3d modeling, and polygons/triangles are the norm. And I just love the idea that theres this convergence of concepts here. The use of triangles is quite clever as its quite realistic for how to cover a surface that has complex geometry.
To me it is one of the most logical things out there. It is just an extension of sacred geometry and in a sense our whole universe is built in that manner. If you know the way broadly, you can see it in all things.
A sure hope you were just trolling "Flawz"el.. For your sake. If you weren't, maybe you should watch some math vids instead. Presumably you understand punctuation, despite you lack of its use.
At my education we had to use plotter foil, to wrap cars. To learn it the hard way. And just watching Wrapper foil in action is soooo satisfying to me.
I raged so hard just trying to wrap a hardtop. He picks up the vinyl with ease, that's not the case with cheap vinyl. I just wanted to practice, but fuck I don't have the money to fuck around with 3M vinyl wrap and toss it out when I mess up.
Where would i Go to Learn how to wrap Cars I'am Based out of California and I'm Interested on learning how to Wrap cars. I also Noticed this guy does Intermediate classes only not Beginner
Your best bet is trial amd error, like try lawnmowers or some random crap with cheap vinyl, get a heat gun theyre like 20$ at a home depot, or if you wanna be safe use hair dryer, and i guess once your comfortable and have an idea what your doing try a friend or someone whos willing to let you wrap like their car hood or trunk, maybe hood roof and trunk if possible and see how it looks, show it off, get your name out there and check out your competitors stuff try an see what they charge for wrapping a vehicle, you dont want to be to cheap, because then people will think your work is cheapor what you use isnt good, if you charge to much theyll think your just trying rip em off or they’ll find another shop that does it for less. Theres alot more to just wrapping a car then youd think, that is if you plan on owning ir making a living off this type of stuff. You have to think “this is serious, my food and family depend on me, my work is a reflection of my reputation. You need to learn where to spend money and when to not. Do not cut corners when it comes to starting a business of your own. Yeah youll save some cash but it usually comes at a sacrifice in some form or another. Then once you are known as the guy to go to, wheres your shop! Who works for you? How long does it last? What else does he do? Are there warranties? Why should i choose you to wrap my car? What if i dont have enough or cant pay for it all at once do you have payment plans? How long? How much does my shop space cost? I donno I probably got a little carried away with my explanation but that is a few things to think of when you want to start any type of business, there’s actually sooo much more that gos into a sustainable business that last and profits then you might think. But working for someone else No never not unless its either for the skill or trade or something otherwise your wasting your time and you’ll regret it later when you realized damn that sorry fucker never paid me shit, im driving a busted up ass car from 2002 and my boss has a bmw and i been working for him for 5 years... *just an example but im sure someones life has that in there somewhere* anywhoooo i know i am awesome so ill be warderin off over to this other thing im gonna go do. Can he put my screen protector on my phone for me? I've already gone through the 3 that came in the package. Thanks. lol
ik this is half a year later but putting a screen protector on your screen is so simple. get your screen as clean and dry as possible (use wet wipes and then a microfiber cloth if you have them) and the second you take the film off the screen protector, lay it on your phone and let gravity naturally pull all the air out and if there’s air left, use a card or your fingers to push it out
"Reduced his time by 100%"!? That means....... he didnt even do it!
no, that does not mean that. the key word is "by" - not "to".
Fuck I love TH-cam comments!
I 100% pissed my pant laughing!!
Yeah he meant reduced by 50%. If he had INCREASED the time from 8 to 16 then he would have increased by 100%
@@k1ng401 Yep, but if he *had* decreased it by 100%, he could have, more or less, charged more for it - just not 100% more.😁
It would have made life *so much* easier if he just sprayed the ******* car.
If you know the way broadly, you can see it in all things.
with this cold wrapping technique i am going to wrap a roof for the first time
he teaches how to wrap, not a math course...
no 16-8 is reduced by 100%
Mr. GAWN j
16 to 8 is a reduction by 50%. However, being able to complete a job in half the time is a 100% increase in speed for that job.
When he said "as a wrapper" i thought he meant "rapper" and I was like wait what?
10/10 supa hot fire would recommend
Wholly crap.....I learned a bunch and yet....I knew nothing when I started watching. Amazing job!
Seems very simple mainly plenty of practice makes prfect i have a lot to learn need to see more of your films Thankyou.
What makes wrapping a car difficult? EBAY vinyls
Chris Lee dood for reallll hahahaha
I raged so hard just trying to wrap a hardtop. He picks up the vinyl with ease, that's not the case with cheap vinyl. I just wanted to practice, but fuck I don't have the money to fuck around with 3M vinyl wrap and toss it out when I mess up.
yeah the backing paper removal here is only possible with Avery not even with 3M
@@GItoKeG Hahah :)
@Mike Studmuffin I prefer lost mold casting or woven plastic.
Just me.
This dude sounds like a South Park character with the constant “ok” & “alright”
HAHA thank you I thought I was alone. I was thinking of Mr.Mackey at every Mkay I heard
So excited to is this technique!! I’m going help wrap a 2014 wrx tomorrow
Mr. Mackey, "Heat stretching is bad, mkay"
Wow that was an awkward handshake.. mkay
They should make a Southpark episode about the "mkay" guy becoming a rapper wrapper... :)
Amazing techniques, I have never done it but I’m planning to try it and see what it turns out like. Thanks
JEEEEZ his MMMMKAYs drove me up the wall!
Where would i Go to Learn how to wrap Cars I'am Based out of California and I'm Interested on learning how to Wrap cars. I also Noticed this guy does Intermediate classes only not Beginner
most of the vinyl manufacturers offer training courses to all levels. Avery Dennison, 3M, Ritrama, Orafol, etc
Have fun deciding what your gonna do with your life and avoid meth and crack and heroine,
MmmmKay😏
Freakin Kat WTF!!! I'm sure he knows how the business works since he has one . dude just wanted to know where to go for a class . Holy shit
