  • This is a long one but it's pretty cool....Monstaliner sent me a package to play with. I’m experimenting with metallics to see if we can get a metallic copper finish on our bus and also help others get a really amazing finish with a really cool product. Is it more money than normal paint? Sure! But it’s pros vastly outweigh that one con. I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Thanks for this video! I’ve monsterlined one vehicle and I was wondering about this as well especially after doing an epoxy counter top. I’m also wondering if I could clear over the top after. I MAY have to experiment myself

Automotive clear coat isn’t good for this product but many people use ceramic coatings on them with great results.
New video of a detailed install guide for rolling, graphic technique and decal installation is coming soon.

Subscribed! I Monstaliner DBTO my 1987 Jeeps Wrangler 8 years ago. Great stuff! Love the metalic work. I'm sure you are saving Eric a lot of R&D time.

Thank you! Yeah Still need to play around with some more product before providing mix information but it’s looking very good so far. Can’t wait to do it on the bus

I would use this to paint the bus to look like the one in A Nightmare on Elm Street when it is Freddy's bus 😈😈

You totally could!! Monsta is actually really fun to use for decorative finishes. You wouldn’t believe some of the crazy paint jobs and details people have gotten with this stuff

This stuff looks so cool! Have you sprayed it, or only used a roller? I’m curious if I could get a smooth finish if I sprayed it on my bus. I want to do white with a pearl finish and now I’m wondering if I could use pearlescent power with this as a top coat. I’m so glad you shared this, I’d never heard of it before!

Spraying actually gives a more textured finish. But keep watching I am going to be doing a round two of messing with shimmers and metallics and figuring out the right mixes to get it to go one really nice, I will say though as someone who has used this product in the past the metallics actually seem to level out a lot smoother than traditional monsta with tint.
Once I can figure out the perfect ratio of shimmer to tint I will be posting the mix ratio and where I get everything at.
