Your van looks cool! I want to do this to my ‘09 Honda Odyssey but my husband won’t let me because I never finish a project. 😂 He already painted his ‘92 Toyota truck with Monstaliner two years ago and it looks great! Funny story…when I showed him this video to support my request he said he watched your video to learn tips and took a lot of your advice before he did his truck, so thank you! I’m going to try asking him again. 🙏
4:25 - "Paint over rust like butter" - NO! NO! NO! All rust must always be completely removed. Use an acid etch primer on all bare metal prior to the top coat.
For your viewers, you can, in fact spray Monstaliner- I'm getting ready to spray my '03 Crown Vic police interceptor... Gotta wear a protective mask though as this stuff is gnarly.
@@Tier1Norseman FYI- I've done a total of 4 CVPI's in Monstaliner, and had to do one Lifted Miata with Raptor liner as Monstaliner (a way better product IMHO) stopped producing due to supply product issues, but I heard they're coming back soon...
So far holding up really well! I could have probably done one more coat on the top as I've seen a couple small rust spots about the size of an Eraserhead. Other than that. Really happy with it!
@@sssether27 gotcha.. id be curious to know if the rust was from to thin of a coat or due to a prep issue. Either way glad its holding up.. im researching for a project monstaliner is being considered
What is the working time once you open the can till it hardens up? Can you use a mohair roller instead of their heavily textured one? Can you dilute can with Xylene and extend working time?

What is the Extreme Performance Catalyst that they advertise?
What tires and rims do you have and did you lift it at all?
Did you sand down the whole van? And what grit?
Good shit!
how is it holding up? Any chips, flakes, or any of the like? Anywhere its coming off?

It’s actually not just a “truck bed liner “
