I just got my AFC live. Had one on my '97 1 ton and absolutely loved it, so I knew I needed another one for my ppump 24v. Just waiting on a few more parts and I'll be digging in to get the swap done! Next on the list will be compounds and an o-ringed head!
I’m purchasing a 12v in the next couple months. Getting into hauling/towing. I have no idea about diesels just gas motors and people say if you know nothing about them don’t get one. What do i need to know before buying one? What to look for?
I bought a afc live back in 2016 I believe. It has never work right. Turning the nobs does nothing even flipping the full power switch just gives me tons of smoke. I had it on my truck for a few months trying different things. I end up taking back off. My truck ran 10 times better with out it got all my power back and no smoke.

So does the truck need to be setup to overfuel and then this box will lower the boost signal to the pump to adjust the fuel ratio down to the correct amount again? The box can not produce more boost then the engine is already setup to do without the box, so it is only able to turn down the fueling? There is no wastegate control with this box it is fueling only?
Yes. AFC live will not give any more fuel than removing the fuel plate. It just gives you control of it all while you drive. This is not a watergate tuner. E we do offer the “Turbo Tuner” that tunes internal watergate’s

Currently a 351 over a 480!
It seems like a regulator, flow control and a three way valve. Nice little all in one package with a gauge.

How do I get this to work on my l10 with a PT pump
We had one on a pt pump, it didn’t have the range of adjustment that p-pump has but we could control enough to be effective

What’s the fuel and air setup on that truck
Currently, it has PDD 055 delivery valves, DDP Stage 3 injectors, with a 351 over a 480.
What brand of gauges are you running?
