I think another big bad villian that could be established in the future is Trigon. I would love to see him being a big threat in the DCU, He was done very poorly in Titans so I hope one day he’ll be done properly in the DCU. He wouldn’t be in the chapter 1 phase but maybe in the future chapters he could appear.
I would save him for a Justjce League Dark, which IMO will be a big differentiator for DC. Imagine Constantine, Deadman, Zatanna, Swamp Thing, Etrigan the Demon, Dr. Fate and Raven taking on Trigon.
I personally think Brainiac should be the big bad for the DCU. He's powerful enough to trouble the justice league and he's different from darkseid who was used by the previous regime and different from Thanos. If there was to be a justice league trilogy, the first movie would probably have white martians and then justice league 2 and justice league 3 would probably have brainiac. Save darkseid for a "new gods saga" and fulfil Kirby's dream of having him fight Orion. That's just my pitch.
I'd love to see a scene in Legacy a small flashback of a 4-6-year-old Clark laying on the floor watching tv with Jonathan reading a newspaper. A newscast comes on showing something to the effects of 'Thing from outer space appears! Soon after in an update Nathan Fillion's Guy Gardener fighting the invasion repelling the aliens. Clark's eyes shine with wonder as Jonathan puts a hand on Clark's tiny shoulder smiling. This imprints on Clark/Kal-El to where once he learned of his Kryptonian heritage. the Guy Gardner newscast and the Kent's teachings inform a lot of Clark's motives and the way he operates.
I could see Gunn giving us a Vandal Savage type Villain in Chapter 1 because of how he operates. I think starting with Savage is a good start imo. 🤷🏾♂️💁🏾♂️
@@matt-tf2ob hey dude, it was just a suggestion/opinion. Why do I have to be stupid for sharing it? Like if it’s not Savage that’s cool too. 🤷🏾♂️Also, he has interacted with the JL before so it’s not unprecedented. He was literally the main antagonist of Justice League: Doom. 🤦🏾♂️ AND comic book movies have often shuffled villains to fit a narrative.
Savage is my favorite idea. I think that people like mongul and Brainiac would be single use villains more like an Ultron than a Thanos. I would like to see these other characters, but i would love to see Savage as the main villian
The idea of a sentient island that spawns dinosaurs of all things sounds really cool and unique to me. Much better than an all powerful villain hellbent on destroying the universe.
26:11 I've been writing my own story pitches for my own take on the Green Lantern film franchise, and one of my ideas is to rework the character of William Hand as a sympathetic villain who is destined to be the catalyst of the Blackest Night and become the doorway for the return of Nekron. I think William can be written as a three-dimensional villain destined to end everything ever created. However, in my pitch, he is just a 20-year-old kid who knows nothing about the Blackest Night and is Kyle Rayner's best friend. The two are art college roommates and rely on each other. However, William suffers from severe mental problems and a deep psychosis, hearing the voices and screams of the dead and the voice of Nekron torturing him ever since birth and causing suicidal urges in him. No one else believes him, not even his family, treating him with cold tone and judgment as they see Willaim as the black sheep of the Hand Family, as they disapprove of him studying art as a career and just think he's mentally challenged; however, my take on Kyle is that he still cares about William and treats him like a natural person, and the two would be inseparable like brothers, thus creating a world-ending moral dilemma whether or not he can save Willaim from destiny and other Lanterns trying to kill him to stop the Blackest Night, which I feel like would make a powerful story. Nekron, in my pitch, would be a built long-term villain set in my saga that is the literal embodiment of nothingness, pitch black, the void that existed before creation, and in my pitch, he would play into Willaim's fear and insecurities throughout his entire life ever since he was born and whisper in his ear and torture his mind about ending everything and starting the Black Night. My take on the Blackest Night storyline would be a 2 part conclusion to my 6 film saga, similar to how Avengers Infinity War and Endgame close off the Infinity Saga of the MCU. I would love the DCU to do something like this with Nekron and the Blackest Night, closing off a Green Lantern film saga in the DCU. I have written down pitches and story drafts for other films in this series with my own ideas, inspirations and castings in mind.
@@SavageTigerMC Many thanks. I really want james gunn to succeed with this. Im hoping and praying that this new world he creates will be fantastic. So far in my opinion with the casting of superman legacy it seems like this movie might be pretty good.🤞🏻
I would love to see Circe be a big threat to the League. Maybe she forms a Legion of Doom type of team from the villains introduced in all of the different movies and TV shows
@michaelkaggwa4915 yeah that's why I mentioned her. I think it'd be a refreshing take to have a female villain last longer than a single project. Especially since they're usually more interesting and have deeper impacts on audiences
I don’t think he’s teaming up. I think the heroes in Legacy will be trying to tell Superman to solve an issue one way, possibly to work with the government that he may not trust. When he said it’s riff off of the DCAU, the Cadmus arc was the first thing I thought of
That Cadmus arc would be AMAZING in live action! I know it wouldn't be wise to follow it verbatim, but damn that would be sick in live action! I would especially like to see the strange romance with the Huntress and ?, and of course Capt. Atom being called to duty by the US Military. So glad James Gunn now holds the reins, can't wait for it!
My top 3 choices personally for big bads in the DCU is 1. Brainiac 2. The Centre 3. Legion of Doom, Lex Luthor, Deathstroke, Cheetah, Reverse Flash, Black Manta, and Sinestro. Honorable Mention: The Crime Syndicate from Earth 3. Like Ultraman, Owlman, Superwoman, etc. I know multiverse stuff is overused now. But the Justice League seeing dark villainous versions of themselves from a different universe could make each member think about how differently they could have turned out if things were different. And how not to turn into what the Crime Syndicate is.
Awesome video! Very thorough and detailed. Thanks so much! I’ve very much enjoyed your channel, I discovered it a few weeks ago and you do a great job analyzing superhero movies.
DC has SO MANY wonderful characters that could be villains worthy of the Justice League... to waste an entire movie or chapter or TWO on something like the Center saddens me. That's not a character. It's a nothing.
The Anti-Monitor should be saved for when/if they do a Multiverse arc right, in maybe chapters 3 or 4. It should be with not only a fully established DCU with a long history, but also bring in or acknowledge all previous cinematic and TV incarnations of DC. Darkseid should be chapter 2 or 3, just to have some distance from both the DCEU and DCAMU, but he should be foreshadowed and built up to from the start like Young Justice and the DCAU. The Centre from New Frontier, Vandal Savage and Brainiac are probably the best options for the big bad of chapters 1-2. The Centre isn't really a character on its own and Brainiac is more of a Superman villain and an extraterrestrial one so Savage manipulating Lex, the Centre and all the supervillains of the world (the Secret Society and/or the Legion of Doom) like JL Doom and YJ it is. Brainiac and Savage could foreshadow either the Anti-Monitor and/or Darkseid's existence too, the former collecting cities from worlds fated to die from them and Savage preparing Earth's heroes for them. Like Ozymandias in Watchmen, he can be the reason for both the Centre being unleashed and the heroes uniting to fight them. His long history on Earth (and history with Alan Scott's GL) also makes it so he can be in a JSA movie as well. Magog is actually connected to Gog, one of the old gods of the Second World, Urgund, which split into two and became the Fourth World (New Genesis and Apokolips) with the Third World gods being born in between from the godwave (and the First World being the Source/Presence, the One True God Himself). Both Gog and Magog in fact come from the Bible as false gods. They could foreshadow Darkseid (the ultimate false god like in Final Crisis) but also follow him too. Either way even in Kingdom Come neither of them are the true big bads. Right now in Mark Waid and Dan Mora's World's Finest, Gog is manipulating Magog in the past of KC so he can wage war on Apokolips. Edit: Nekron would be awesome for a Blackest Night film and Mongul for a Warworld Saga series or film would be the dream. But they should be saved for way later down the line and focused on GL and Superman respectively. Nekron himself is a personification of Death and wants to destroy all life through killing the Life Entity, the light of Life born when the Presence spoke it into existence while Warworld is connected to Olgrun, another old god. Speaking of, I'd rather have the Great Darkness, Pariah, Mandrakk or the Empty Hand (see Multiversity, Final Crisis and Dark Crisis) than Perpetua to be honest.
I grew up only reading Marvel. But when Frank Miller came out with his Dark Knight stuff, I was totally into it. I was 15 in 1984 for Superman and loved it. Anyway, I'd be thrilled if DC came into its own and ruled for a while. Go James Gunn, go.
A good a big bad for chapter 1 or a first Justice League team up movie could be the Hyperclan and the White Martians. Similar to how the JLA teams up in Grant Morrison’s run. The only thing is that the Justice League animated series already kind of did it. But they did not include the Hyperclan so it could be different enough.
I’d much rather they didn’t go with an alien invader to “unite” the heroes for a big genetic battle… I think it’d be much cooler - if they set up a civil war - heroes and villains belonging to different factions all trying to out manoeuvre the other. Game of Thrones but with superheroes - would go hard. Have the “Iron Throne” be the JL watchtower and everyone is vying for it for complete galactic control and surveillance.
I think that Gunn gave us the biggest clue when he titled the chapter “Gods and Monsters”. Creature Commandos are monsters. Swamp Thing is a monster. An argument could be made that Peacemaker, Waller, The Authority and even Batman are all monsters given their “any means necessary” approach to justice. So if our heroes are the monsters, who are the “Gods”? Arguments can be made that many of the villains you mentioned are cosmic level gods; ie Nekron, Eclipso, & Darkseid. Hell, Darkseid even calls himself a “New God”. Another fan also mentioned Trigon who falls into this category. This makes all of them more likely candidates than say Brainiac or a Legion of Doom. But I want to make an argument for another possibility. In 1991, there was a storyline called “War Of The Gods” that crossed over several titles including Justice League and Suicide Squad. It was a storyline initiated by Circe, whom we know is the big bad of Creature Commandos season 1 and whom Gunn has low-key confirmed for Superman (the purple glowing effect in the costume photo which was our first look). What if the big bad is actually all the gods and she is the catalyst peppered throughout the entire chapter?
Brainiac is interesting because you could present him as an overall DCU big bad or just as a Superman villain. Another angle you could go with is start him as a Superman villain, have Supes defeat him but not totally destroy him, then have him evolve and come back more powerful to where the Justice League is needed to take him down. Kind of like in the DCAU where he was a villain on Superman: TAS then evolved when he merged with Luthor in JLU. Doesn't have to be that exactly but just an example.
*Question #1:*What are some of the top 8 or 10 things you want to be included for the brand-new upcoming DCU film, Supergirl: The Woman of Tomorrow, **#BobaTalks**?* *I would love to see/hear thoughts on it via a video ,just like you made the video on the list if things you wanted in the brand-new upcoming DCU film, Batman: The Brave and the Bold!* ;D
Here's a hot take about Brainiac, my preferred version is the Superfriends robot version. I didn't even grow up with Superfriends and I don't how I even found out about that version, but it's my favorite design for Brainiac.
The blackest night , crisis on infinite earth's, and Darkseid wars should be saved for down the line in chapters. They can have vandal savage be the main villan of chapter 1 and they could introduce him in a justice society of america movie set in the past after WW2 and he is involved in the cold war and the JSA have to stop him from starting a war with the USA from behind the scenes of Russia government. Vandal savage could return in modern day in a new JLA team movie. Vandal savage could beat at the end of chapter 1 but teases them with a bigger threat coming with the center. The center could have a physical form like ego in guardians of the galaxy and be the island itself.
of all the villains I think vandal savage would be the most unexpected but could be the most unique, you can combine two of those villains under him. What I mean assuming the center is chapter one knowing that savage is also as old as history itself, let his actions be the cause of the center wanting to destroy humanity and the idea of the justice league defeating the center be an overall plan for that was cooked by savage in some way. Later on after that film show savage in a post credit scene with Luthor and some other chapter one villains in previous movies forming some kind of organization like the light or the legion of doom to then cause some serios damage in chapter two. I just feel like savage has a lot of untapped potential
He’s read these comics since his childhood, n has the different ideas that not many directors have n it’s gonna be a fresh start but still have that dark sense in the background cooking up just like in the comics. We are chillin. 👌🏻💯
Magog would be awesome. not so much because of Magog but more so the influence of Kingdom Come. The emphasis of Superman being a beacon of hope as well as his influence and example to other heroes in that story is, in my opinion, the perfect iteration of the character. I LOVE that story!
Honestly this might be an odd choice but I would love Sinestro to be a big bad He is not only a master tactician and strategist but he is an expert combatant, he is fearless, he has a genius level intellect, leads and controls his own army/Corps of Yellow Lanterns. He even rules an entire planet being his own homeworld and has a sentient battle station called Ranx that is his equivalent to Mogo of the Green Lantern Corps. He can also escape to the Anti-Matter universe at will Hell, he has an entire storyline based on him and his corps and it spans over 15 issues, it’s one of the most popular stories out there. I just think he would be a Justice League level threat and not just a Green Lantern villain. I do agree with most of the choices, mainly The Legion of Doom and Mongul. I think Blackest Night should be saved for its own Chapter and have it built up, maybe Chapter 2 or 3
I would love to see Legion of Doom as a big bad cus imagine Gunn introducing each one crazy villain in every project comes out like Wonder Woman fights cheetah and Hal Jordan fights Sinestro then leads straight into forming the legion lead by Maxwell Lord to dominate earth. That make Superman to form the JLA gathering every superhero willing to fight against the Legion in the first chapter. Moving forward to Braniac or Anti-Monitor in the second chapter of DCU.
Considering the indevidaul projects we are getting for now, the most logical is something like the centre for chapter 1 (But I want/think it will be more like a natural phenomenon like the earthquake in the no man's land.) And Legion of doom for chapter 2 leading by a fusion of Luthor and Braniac.
Brainiac and the Legion of Doom should be featured in a Justice League movie. Vandal Savage would be an excellent fit for a Wonder Woman team-up, including Black Canary, Hawkgirl, and Green Arrow Or, however, needs to be included in the story. The Black Lantern story could be explored effectively, possibly in a Justice League Beyond movie, featuring the old Justice League as intriguing villains as Black Lantherns. Mongul should be showcased in a Trinity film.
I would love to see Brainiac and I’ve got an idea on what they could do with him. I think they could have Brainiac manipulate General Zod to kill Superman in maybe another Superman Vs Zod movie that eventually builds up Brainiac betraying Zod.
I think the most suprising & unorthodox villian the DCU can utilize that most people would never consider would be Ebon, "Master of Shadows & Darkness". The guy is OP (unless exposed to light).
As a Major Fan of The Blackest Night storyline, I don’t think that introducing Nekron at this stage is a smart play. I do want to see down the line Hal Jordan becoming a victim of Parallax turning him a Madman like that classic cover with him having all other Lantern’s rings in Emerald Twilight Green Lantern Story.
I had trouble sleeping because it's "Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earth's Part 1" day to day!!! Hell yeah!! It's almost 1hr 33mins for those of you wondering. I swear I get more excited for their animated stuff than I do for live action... with the exception of Matt Reeves Batman stuff of course. I got the day off too so I can't wait to watch it later this morning. The last one was a bit strange but I enjoyed it. But given the story, I just know this one's gonna kick ass.
Casting the actors for a Kingdom Come movie - it would be absolutely amazing if it was treated like a parallel earth, and Haney Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ben Affleck could reprise their roles. We never got to see Green Lantern in the Snyder movies. Then this Earth could cross over with Gunn’s universe, for a new story. “Crisis of Kingdom Come” or something. The Snyderverse actors will have aged up and will resonate with the story of KC. Gunn can cast all those brutal 2nd gen anti-heroes and use them elsewhere. Eventually it feeds into a Crisis on infinite earths situation like the comics.
Hey Boba! Sorry that I'm a week or two behind but I'm here now. With such a large cast of heroes can you see an opening scene where we get 45 seconds of every hero except Superman taking down one of their nemesis? Maybe, Shadow Thief, Solomon Grundy, Chemo, Cheshire, and Count Vertigo? Just to highlight what everyone’s skill set is and move on to Superman.
Brainiac for sure has the highest potential to be the big bad for chapter 1. But since James Gunn is trying to cameo the Gods in chapter 1(Gods and Monsters). I see Magog as Superman legacy threat or a later threat after chapter 2 where they have already established superhero ethics. I feel like he is building up to introduce a god sort of bad guy for chapter 2. Either way any of the DC big bad will do the job in the end.
JG is the Dude !!! 😢 tears of Joy ..We are really Gonna See how SUPERMAN..JUSTICE LEAGUE really really realy is ..I can't wait ..Villian. .BRANIAC. and LEX..but the Future JL fighting AMAZO
I think your reverse Kingdom come idea is quite interesting, I actually think that the anti-hero and vigilante situation should be evident in the first few films for DCU with lots of character and world building and it could bubble under the surface throughout chapter one. But Magoog should appear in chapter two. And Brainiac should be the big bad Monster that everyone faces at the end of chapter one, with Supergirl almost having a breakdown or losing control when Brainiac arrives. And then the consequences of all heroes and anti-heroes and vigilantes are dealt with in chapter two with. Magoog taking a definitive stand and the Justice league or Trinity is formed or will form to bring the public on one side or the other. This could be an actual fantasy discussion with regards to partisan politics we have today the political division and culture/moral wars being discussed in the media over the past few years. Then maybe Lex Luthor is campaigning for president on this basis using Magoog as a political tool to gain power and try to restrict heroes from using their powers etc. just a thought everyone please do not shit on it. great video Boba.
how about no big bad in like the first few chapters?? Having a “big bad” is making it similar to MCU. Not having one for some time would distinguish it from the other comic book cinematic universe. It’s something different. Maybe each villain from individual films or series would team up then that’s/those are the villains our heroes would have to face for the big crossover film?
Of all the DCU things I want to know you bring up Batman being a hero for ten to twelve years and I immediately thought about Alfred still being around or dead. Idk why I'm thinking about that I just had a thought.
Man I just realized if they wanna do Damian they most likely r gonna do the clone and that Talia Drugged Batman which is gunna suck cause I wanted Talia to be an actual love interest (also they can age clones faster to keep Batman with a younger actor)
the decision to have the arkham series take place in the dcu really makes me think that the legion of doom will be a major player sooner rather than later.
From what I gathered james naming the Batman and joker elseworlds story’s I assume they might make other movies and if they do I wanna see a dceased movie maybe after Jon Kent is introduced in Superman 2-3 assuming we do get him so that there’s a basis of his character even if it’s a different version
*Question 2:* *Is there a possibility that the DCU Green Lanterns live action TV series would be changed into a Green Lantern Corps movie/ movie series,**#BobaTalks**?*
Hopefully, if the series is successful enough, it can warrant WB to make a new Green Lantern movie set in the DCU and thus create a whole new line of GL movies and make it its own saga. Green Lantern comics and mythos have so much potential to tell incredible stories and create equally impressive films akin to the scale and storytelling of Star Wars. Ive literally written my own story drafts for a 6 film Green Lantern saga in the DCU
The finale of the DCU should definately be Darkseid but properly done not just a Thanos knock off he is this abstract force he exists outside of the multiverse he literally represents evil, but do more villains before him like Braniac and The Centre
Id like Brainiac as a Superman film villain. Atleast when he debuts. I dont want him to be like Avengers: Age Of Ultron like film. Id want a build up to Darkseid preferably to Superman film. Id wanna see Gods of New Genisis like Highfather, Orion, Barda & Mr. Miracle could have their own spin-off series or film. Id prefer to go thru most of the Robins as a 3 film gig with Batman. What i mean is 3 films of Dick Grayson's before becoming Nightwing. 3 films of Jason Todd with last film of him being killed by Joker presumebly. , Tim Drake. And Then Damian. I know, its how id do it over years time. With characters with their best stories. I agree that Justice League's movie villains should be Lex creating the LOD. There's more than one roster of LOD villains aswell Secret Society group of villains. Then you can get the goverment involved with Cadmus. A Cadmus Arc setting up the next Justice League film.
Not another Lex. And Not another Brainiac. Vandal Savage is a Ra,s al Ghu'l re-write or visa versa . Please Bring on a Starro type bigger than all baddie ( we must work together force )it works too with the Brave and the Bold story lines and possibly unites the justice league to band loosely together regardless how long hero's have been around + if you wanted defenders of the unknown and a Doom patrol as well ? And takes villains and hero's alike also introducing the LOD ? Surely kingdom come would be a later time, but letting Magog live in an earlier story line of the New Superman film as an easter egg 5 min intro and Magog lays' a future plot line for Kingdom come. Mongol a War world I have read them, But to most a War World Sounds very Marvel to them that don't know...
A Legion of Doom would be great! That’s something that has not been done over in the MCU. Vandal Savage would make a great baddie if Darkseid cannot be used. I love how Young Justice utilized the character. Mongul is just a knockoff of Darkseid or Thanos.
Really want it to be the Batman who laughs. Could introduce the dark multiverse and just make it so awesome. So many possibilities unseen there. Let me know what you think!
I don’t know if they’ll do vandal savage Boba, for the simple fact like you said Darkseid Was done not too long ago in the movies, well, Vandal Savage was done not too long in the TV show legend of tomorrow.
You should also make a video about the characters who we might actually see now that we know this universe won't be as "grounded" as previous ones. For example: Crazy Quilt, the Wonder Twins, Batman Incorperated, or even Condiment king (Jim Kerry)🤣 What do y'all think 👇

I think William can be written as a three-dimensional villain destined to end everything ever created.
@@milkiassamuel780 Haha sick, well thanks for sharing! Goodluck on your future endeavors.
I LOVE this idea. Wouldn't mind reading the full story treatment. *hint hint* Haha.
Grest idea
Maxwell Lord is creating the Authority. And eventually will build brother eye and the omec project
5:53 WOW! Where's the shot from! Thanks!
Would the Center be like Ego, having an actor for an avatar?
That would be an amazing Easter egg
Keep it up with these videos! They’re awesome !
I really want james gunn to succeed with this. Im hoping and praying that this new world he creates will be fantastic. So far in my opinion with the casting of superman legacy it seems like this movie might be pretty good.🤞🏻
Finally watched guardians of the galaxy vol 3 and man it was great! He can do it!
I would love to see Circe be a big threat to the League. Maybe she forms a Legion of Doom type of team from the villains introduced in all of the different movies and TV shows
hi Circe already cast in C.C animation this 2024 so she is already in DCU
@michaelkaggwa4915 yeah that's why I mentioned her. I think it'd be a refreshing take to have a female villain last longer than a single project. Especially since they're usually more interesting and have deeper impacts on audiences
@@cordeliafoxx4468 ok understood your point
@@cjstenzel Holy crap I forgot about that storyline, I hope we do see captain atom go against Superman in the future.
My top 3 choices personally for big bads in the DCU is
1. Brainiac
2. The Centre
I’m so happy you put Nekron on the list. I’d love to see Blackest Night eventually in Gunns DCU.
I want the legion of doom b4 Darkseid
I’d love to see a Savage/ Ras rivalry, working in the background of the DCU.
Vandal Savage should be multi-chapter villain. like in Young Justice - the ongoing respect/war game between Savage and Darkseid.
I just pray the writing and dialogue are better than what marvel/Star Wars have been putting out bc it’s killing my love for the movies and shows
A good a big bad for chapter 1 or a first Justice League team up movie could be the Hyperclan and the White Martians. Similar to how the JLA teams up in Grant Morrison’s run.
The only thing is that the Justice League animated series already kind of did it. But they did not include the Hyperclan so it could be different enough.
I hope we get a batman who is genuine friends with superman an who knows maybe one day we could get a live action for the man who has everything
Awe friends sooo cute angel sooooooo cute yes
I’d much rather they didn’t go with an alien invader to “unite” the heroes for a big genetic battle… I think it’d be much cooler - if they set up a civil war - heroes and villains belonging to different factions all trying to out manoeuvre the other. Game of Thrones but with superheroes - would go hard. Have the “Iron Throne” be the JL watchtower and everyone is vying for it for complete galactic control and surveillance.
Yo this would actually be badass 🔥
Best big bad breakdown out there. Thanks for the great content
Really appreciate hearing that man, thank you.
Anti-Monitor, Trigon, Darksied, Brainiac, so much potential.
Harías un video de cosas que te gustaría ver en la serie de lanterns
I really want James gunn take inspiration from justice league unlimited I love that show
That shoe was overrated as it created a toxic fandom
of all the villains I think vandal savage would be the most unexpected but could be the most unique, you can combine two of those villains under him.
*Awesome list of top 8 potential Big Bads for the DCU film franchise led by James Gunn, **#BobaTalks**!* ;D
Magog would be awesome. not so much because of Magog but more so the influence of Kingdom Come. The emphasis of Superman being a beacon of hope as well as his influence and example to other heroes in that story is, in my opinion, the perfect iteration of the character. I LOVE that story!
Cool options. Good points, too.
Honestly this might be an odd choice but I would love Sinestro to be a big bad
He is not only a master tactician and strategist but he is an expert combatant, he is fearless, he has a genius level intellect, leads and controls his own army/Corps of Yellow Lanterns. He even rules an entire planet being his own homeworld and has a sentient battle station called Ranx that is his equivalent to Mogo of the Green Lantern Corps. He can also escape to the Anti-Matter universe at will
Hell, he has an entire storyline based on him and his corps and it spans over 15 issues, it’s one of the most popular stories out there. I just think he would be a Justice League level threat and not just a Green Lantern villain.
I do agree with most of the choices, mainly The Legion of Doom and Mongul. I think Blackest Night should be saved for its own Chapter and have it built up, maybe Chapter 2 or 3
What about Trigon!!!!
My hope, is that the story of the greater DCU has a beginning, middle, and an end.
Who’s the actress as Wonder Woman in the thumbnail?
Brainiac and the Legion of Doom should be featured in a Justice League movie. Vandal Savage would be an excellent fit for a Wonder Woman team-up, including Black Canary, Hawkgirl, and Green Arrow Or, however, needs to be included in the story. The Black Lantern story could be explored effectively, possibly in a Justice League Beyond movie, featuring the old Justice League as intriguing villains as Black Lantherns. Mongul should be showcased in a Trinity film.
Yessir we do need a big bad for sure 👏👏👏👏👏
For Batman, Dollmaker and the Ventriloquist would be really awesome on film.
I agree with the legion of doom as long as they don't kill off every bad guy like they used to
earned my sub
Thanks, hope you enjoy the future videos :)
I would love to see Brainiac and I’ve got an idea on what they could do with him. I think they could have Brainiac manipulate General Zod to kill Superman in maybe another Superman Vs Zod movie that eventually builds up Brainiac betraying Zod.
Vandal Savage would be a good big bad in my opinion
I hope in the DCU they bring out a hawk man and hawk girl movie with vandal savage as the villain
I think the most suprising & unorthodox villian the DCU can utilize that most people would never consider would be Ebon, "Master of Shadows & Darkness". The guy is OP (unless exposed to light).
Hope we see a good version of Deathstroke.
They could do a take on Darkseid War.
is Vandal Savage similar to Apocalypse
As a Major Fan of The Blackest Night storyline, I don’t think that introducing Nekron at this stage is a smart play. I do want to see down the line
Hal Jordan becoming a victim of Parallax turning him a Madman like that classic cover with him having all other Lantern’s rings in Emerald Twilight Green Lantern Story.
I’m drawing points of conclusions from Ra’s, Swamp Thing and to the centre. It’s gotta be Boba. I’d dig it.
Amazo would be cool
Brainiac for sure has the highest potential to be the big bad for chapter 1. But since James Gunn is trying to cameo the Gods in chapter 1(Gods and Monsters). I see Magog as Superman legacy threat or a later threat after chapter 2 where they have already established superhero ethics. I feel like he is building up to introduce a god sort of bad guy for chapter 2. Either way any of the DC big bad will do the job in the end.
JG is the Dude !!! 😢 tears of Joy ..We are really Gonna See how SUPERMAN..JUSTICE LEAGUE really really realy is ..I can't wait ..Villian. .BRANIAC. and LEX..but the Future JL fighting AMAZO
i have a big feeling cadmus will be a big overarching threat over the first two chapters of the dcu
Awesome👍👏👏
LOD - Luthor, Black Adam, Cheetah, Failsafe, Deathstroke, Gorilla Grod, Sinestro...
I would love to see a Blackest Night film, probably in chapter 2 or 3
how about no big bad in like the first few chapters?? Having a “big bad” is making it similar to MCU. Not having one for some time would distinguish it from the other comic book cinematic universe. It’s something different. Maybe each villain from individual films or series would team up then that’s/those are the villains our heroes would have to face for the big crossover film?
Zack Snyder's apparently might've Confirmed that Sofia Boutella would've played Darkseid's Daughter Grail in his Justice League Sequels apparently
Terrible actress. I'm glad Snyder is gone
Of all the DCU things I want to know you bring up Batman being a hero for ten to twelve years and I immediately thought about Alfred still being around or dead. Idk why I'm thinking about that I just had a thought.
Man I just realized if they wanna do Damian they most likely r gonna do the clone and that Talia Drugged Batman which is gunna suck cause I wanted Talia to be an actual love interest (also they can age clones faster to keep Batman with a younger actor)
can you make a video if the batman and dcu was same
the decision to have the arkham series take place in the dcu really makes me think that the legion of doom will be a major player sooner rather than later.
From what I gathered james naming the Batman and joker elseworlds story’s I assume they might make other movies and if they do I wanna see a dceased movie maybe after Jon Kent is introduced in Superman 2-3 assuming we do get him so that there’s a basis of his character even if it’s a different version
Brainiac is a SUPERMAN villain (yea I know he fights the JL but my point still stands)
@@milkiassamuel780 *I guess we 'll wait and see!* *Ine ir both of my questions might make in **#BobaTalks** 's future videoes!* 🤗
The finale of the DCU should definately be Darkseid but properly done not just a Thanos knock off he is this abstract force he exists outside of the multiverse he literally represents evil, but do more villains before him like Braniac and The Centre
We just need consistency/ cohesive universe to an extent. That’s it! You don’t need dozens of stuff each year either. Quality over quantity isn’t bad.
I would really like to see a good live action clayface
We are definitely gettina a metallo and brainiac. Don't know if Gunn will go for Doomsday.
I hope it is either Reverse Flash Eobard Thawne or The Anti Monitor more likely Reverse Flash.
We want Darksied just like new 52
Not another Lex.
Hardly any one watched legends, it was great but no one will remember that in 4 years
Vandal Savage hell yeah
What's the difference of dcu and dceu
I speculate that the first chapter would have vandal savage as the main villain
You should also make a video about the characters who we might actually see now that we know this universe won't be as "grounded" as previous ones. For example: Crazy Quilt, the Wonder Twins, Batman Incorperated, or even Condiment king (Jim Kerry)🤣
What do y'all think 👇
