I think the best thing to do is follow Damion's character starting when he first arrives. Follow Damion as he learns these things so the audience can be introduced to the world. It's a pretty common story tactic and for good reason too
They need to make DCU Batman full on fantastical and to make sense of how he can do Crazy things like his comic counterpart, James Gunn need to establish that DC universe humans are very different in terms of in real life humans, DC is a universe where if you work out or train for a bit you can dodge bullets and electricity, so I would like for Gunn to establish that so it makes sense for the audience.
That’s… not true tho… Batman didn’t “train for a little bit”, lol, he spent like 10-15 years learning every martial art he could find and spent that time also becoming the best detective that is around.
Dude, trust me, the amount of growth you can go through as a parent from the ages of 25 to 37/38 is IMMESSURABLE!! Especially in the position of someone like Batman. I don't think people need to worry so much about his age. It's how he handles certain situations. I had my first son at 20. Who I was then vs who I am now is almost funny to think about. We're talking about two completely different people pretty much. But Jordan, my son, was all part of that growth. So if they do it right, it could be great. As far as the white eyes, sure. I'm down for it. But they need to be the right size. Cause if they're too big like in TDK, it looks goofy asf, lol. But I'm sure they will nail it if they do it. And I just have to say, every time they show Bruce from the Arkham games where he's still wearing his under suit and he's standing on the edge like at 29:54 of the video, I can't help but think it looked like he's taking a long piss before walking up and looking at the suit. And once I see something like that, I can't unsee it, lol.
Bruce is 14 years older than Dick; Dick is 6 years older than Jason; Jason is 2-3 years older than Tim Bruce starts at 24 and at the time of Brave and Hold is 38 Dick is adopted at 12 when Bruce is 26 Dick is Robin at 15 when Bruce is 29 Barbara is Batgirl at 18 when Bruce is 30 Dick joins Teen Titans at 18 when Bruce is 32 Dick leaves Bruce at 20 when Bruce is 34 Jason becomes Robin at 15, when Dick is 21, Bruce is 35 Jason "dies" at 17, Dick is 23, Bruce is 37 Tim becomes Robin at 15, Jason is 18, Dick is 24, Bruce is 38. This is approximate.
In the DCU They need to improve Batman fight scenes in Live action. Batman fight scenes in the past have been pretty lackluster with the exception of Ben Affleck ware house scene in BVS but even that I don’t even think they even scratch the surface of what he can do in terms of his comic book counterpart, I need Batman to be punching people through walls and fighting 100 people at once and doing stuff a regular person can’t do. They need to establish lore and reason on why Batman as good as he is, in the comics it’s has been stated that he knows and master all form of the martial arts, and even alien martial arts as well, personally I think DCU Batman‘s fighting style should look quick and powerful and should have speed, finesse and be strong as heck.
The problem in the past were a couple of things. The Batsuit was heavy and hard for the actor to move around in. Keaton & Kilmer have both talked about how hard it was to do things in the suit. Also, it was the times. The general audience didn't understand that Batman wasn't supposed to be for young children. People thought Batman Returns was too violent. Same thing happened to the TMNT movies of the early 90's.
I'd like retractable white lens, so he can remove them when he's not on combat. Because you know how those actors feel the need to show their faces and remove the helmets every time they're talking, and I don't want that to happen with Batman. In addition to that, they should focus on finding someone with a good voice, maybe someone from the voice acting field.
All good wants, but seeing Damian make his own way to the US and inside the Batcave would be a great way to highlight just how dark and skilled he is. Maybe a side-by-side opening scene of the two working. Tahlia can come looking for him in Act 3.
Hey Boba, there is a channel called "The Black Lion" who talks about the DCU a lot, and maybe you might enjoy his channel. IDK just thought to bring it up and recommend.
Indeed. By far the best characters in the Bat-family after Batman himself. They’re shinning examples of characters who have really grown and evolved over time. Two of the greatest legacy characters ever created. Hell of a power couple too.
I think a way we could get to be emotionally attached by the time the Batman movie comes is by making the Arkham series an anthology. Each episode it being a different villain in different stages of Batman’s life all the way to the point of the current timeline. That way we get to see the Batmans journey throughout the season. With even having him wear different suits which would be a great addition to have
There is a way to do it to make it work with all robins... Have Dick Grayson be the leader of the Titans while training Tim to be his replacement while also being the connective tissue between the titans and bat family.. Have Damien be with Bruce to learn how to be a hero the right way before joining the titans.. keep jason dead for the first movie.. Cassie will be the main batgirl while babs is oracle..@@MP.860
@@austindaniels4827 my guess is for the DCU, in addition to Batman and Robin (Alfred ofc), we’ll get Nightwing, Oracle, and Batgirl (Cass). Maybe Red Hood as a villain. Other Batman-adjacent characters like Huntress may appear, but not as part of the Bat-family proper.
I think they NEED both Dick and Jason present in the movie. Just like with how that carnival scene played out in the Titans animated movie, Dick could show how he doesn’t have to live the life of an Al Ghul. He could give him fun. And Jason could do the same, almost like a therapist and show him how to live, since he’s been a murderer and been with Talia before (could be adapted, but would be a little messy💀)
I like the idea of Damian having multiple worldviews surrounding him and ultimately having to decide what's right. I'd like to see that portrayed well on screen.
I’m honestly ok if they do something where they cast an actor in their mid-30s and have them play a Bruce who could be in their early 40s. There are plenty of real people who look younger than their age, so why not cast someone who is younger than their character and can actually be in the role for 10+ years.
Hey. A bit late too the party, but would like to pour in my thoughts. As much as we would want all the main 8 to feature in the DCU, since this is live action, I think they might take elements from a few and combine them into a single character. Heres what I mean, I think they are really adamant on developing Damian as the Robin. And as much as I empathise with Drake, I think that he primarily serves as an intermediary or filler role. Therefore, in order to give this particular character a unique arc of their own, instead of just sidelining them once damian comes in, we could make this character a hybrid of Drake and the batgirls. So what will happen is that after Jason is presumably dead we might have either Stephanie or Cassandra be the current Robin as in where we pick up from in the DCU. Her origins might be a combination of Drakes, her own. And once Damian comes in, we might further the plot in such a way that she forms a certain mentor kind of bond with him and grooms him to become Robin. And then, like Drake went on to become red robin, she might go on to take on the mantle of Batgirl. And there we have it; Nightwing, todd, Robin, Batgirl. And perhaps even one Batwoman. I believe these 5 along with obviously, Alfred and Catwoman would make the perfect DCU bat-family. Thoughts???
I need the actor playing Damian Wayne to be really young, like 10 yo maximum. Because kids grow up so fast (we saw it happening with the Shazamily). If the DCU is a 10 year saga, and Damien probably won't be introduced until TBATB (which I feel like it won't come out in the next 5 years tbh), he'd still be a teenager by the end of the story if he's at least 10 yo when he comes around.
I hear you, but there are no 10 year old actors that i'd trust to be able to play Damian well. Simply not enough experience. Of course, I'm also not a huge child actor fan to begin with for a multitude of reasons so maybe don't listen to me.
@@jackstutz2860 I'm sure there are you just don't know about them, and it's not like he'll need to carry the movie by himself he'll have adult actors around him who would be very good teachers for him. Look at how well Tom Holland has grown by being paired with Robert Downey Jr or how much Gary Oldman inspired Daniel Radcliffe just to name two examples. Point is let's not write this off yet because the kids can suprise you.
I would love to see Batman and Damian have an early fight seen to set the tone of what type of people they are at that time to see how different and similar they are
Tim should be the new Robin, only like 6-10 months maximum in the "job". Damian comes. I like the idea of Bruce having nightmares about Jason still. Dick is obviously estranged, talks to Alfred, comes and sees Bruce, meets Damian. Barbara is in a wheelchair, flashbback to her as Batgirl (unless they change the Killing Joke to happen after Damian comes, they did that in Young Justice).
Batman looks sucked when he was first created his look and batsuit was 🤮 Later on in the dc comics years Batman suit looked more good And became better
Plot guess: Batman has mastered crime fighting- is feared and respected- Talia arrives with Damien-Batman is humbled by fatherhood- realizes he treated his children as soldiers more than family- dedicates himself to the bat family- bat family/detective rebirth run movies follow.
So many things i want, where to start. 1. Please new costume that stands out from previous films. Batman costume thats Not armored like. Something like Affleck's so actor/stuntman can be faster, more agile. White eyes included the cowl similiar to that of MCU's Spider-Man, Deadpool & Wolverine in upcoming Deadpool film. 2. Actually go fully thru Robins, particully Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake before Damien. 3 films per each Robin atleast as DG would take up mantle of Nightwing and JT becomes Red Hood. 3. Accurate takes from comic to film. Like Death In The Family,Knightfall. 4. More villains not brought to live action like Mad Hatter, Lady Shiva, Lock-Up, Man Bat, Clayface. Matt Hagen or Ethan whos friends with Bruce Wayne. 5. Comic accurate versions of villains like Bane,Mr.Freeze,etc. Bat themed vehicles. Im talking Batmobiles looking similiar to that from Burton's films, Not grounded like from Nolan/Snyder films. People addressed other stuff id want already. Long story short, id like live action films inspired from Batman: The Animated Series. Heck, the whole DCAU is perfect blue prints to a live action shared universe of the DCU.😊
The bat suit should move away from the armor or just have less of it. Or do leathers. Also i was thinking about how poetic it would be for the Batman the brave and the bold to use the song the beginning is the end is the beginning first trailer to set the tone of it all. Take that song from a not so good Batman and robin movie of the past and put it in the one of the future 😅 chef's kiss.
I really have a hard time imagining two cinematic versions of Batman going on at the same time and managing to keep me invested in both, and if I have to pick one, I'm going with Reeves' Batverse.
I just want a fire intro song/opening credits like the cartoon. Every episode of the cartoon was special in its own way with team ups and a new villain every episode
White eyes on the suit would be cool, sparingly. There's a reason superheros rarely keep their masks on all the time. It limits expressiveness too much. Eyes are a huge part of that expression, so covering them up full time would make it more difficult to humanize him. There are times when it could be very interesting to use but I think generally we should be able to see Bruce's eyes.
Another question, what kind of animation style do u think they are gonna adapt fr creature commandos??? Like DC already has pretty gud experience with animation. So do you expect the DCAMU style? Or anime? Or like what they did with Marvel's What If?
I am just so excited to see a proper dc universe, James Gunn has made some of the best comic book movies of the past 10 years and you can tell he really cares about doing this for DC. I just have a feeling this is gonna usher a new era for DC sort of like the original Superman movies and Batman 89 did.
I think they will do a lot of this. The suit is a big one but it having the lenses is easy since he uses flash bangs and smoke grenades. Maybe make it blue and grey if they want it to be different or all black with a full gold symbol something new. Having a ton of different villains since he is so far in to his time as Batman. There is so much potential.
Since we're gonna get video games canon to the DCU I think it'd be cool to get one touching on the 10 or so years prior to these characters debuting on screen
Im just want to see the batfamily in live action with nightwing, red hood, red Robin ( Tim drake ), batgirl, batwoman, spoiler ( Stephanie brown ), Casandra cain, batwing, the Signal, and azrael and catwoman and we need a fantastical batman with Batman having white eyes and unrealitic and see Batman villains with powers clay face, mad Hatter, ra's al ghul ( with powers ) poison ivy, bane (with venom), man bat, and other villains, and i want Alan Richson as dcu Batman.
I believe Batman was in his 40s when he first met Superman. From the animated series in the 90s, I believe he's in his 20s or 30s in the first 2 seasons and definitely in his 40s by the 3rd season.
Realistically by the time the Batman movie comes out corensweet might be closer to 40, so if having them being the same or very close ages is needed Batman would be a little bit older than 35.
Maybe it's because I'm me, but I'm looking forward to everything DCU related, seeing the Matt Reeves productions as Elseworld early Batman stories (and I'm hoping that they will include Dick Grayson 's Robin start & development), seeing the mainline DCU as a developed Batman and Batman family experience that includes most if not all of the "mainline sidekicks", and perhaps through the Titans movie or a separate Robins project (doesn't have to be a live action movie) that showcases each of the mainline Robins' histories and highlights (maybe as a way of helping Duke or Orphan become more acclimated to being part of the Bat family? Just an idea, but I hope that DCU will be able to incorporate and include characters as recently developed as Duke and maybe even Ghost Maker, Mr. Bloom, & others...). This way, we can have a good portion of everything coexisting, and making the most out of what can be created realistically speaking (especially since actors age normally and superheroes tend to be in their twenties and thirties for 70 years). Another fantastic video, and all the best to everybody =.)
I am absolutely convinced the Arkham show will come before Brave and the Bold. It's had a writer since November 2022. BaTB as far as we know doesn't even have a writer yet, and James said that they'd start production on things based on when the scripts are completed and nothing else. My guess is we'll get Arkham in around 2026 and Brave and the Bold on 2027-2028
Sorry for being late to the party but id like to pour my thoughts in anyways. There's a lot to say so its not very well organised so please bare with me. I think there are 2 layers to the analysis. Firstly, the hesitation of the audience of having two Live action batmen simultaneously. It bringd about a certain set of challenges. But it seems by the looks of it that the studio recognizes these risks and is prepared to address them head on. So what are these challenges; well of u want the Audience to be invested into 2 different live action portrayals of the character, u need to assure them that they'll get 2 different and unique experiences with both the versions. I believe James Gunn has taken the right initial steps to tackle this hurdle. By introducing a Batman who is clearly at a different stage of his career as compared to Pattinson. Id actually compare David Cornswets Superman to Pattinson's Batman in terms of the time that has passed since they have dawned their respective mantles. The DCU Batman is nearly a decade into being the caped crusader and so that's clearly a difference. Secondly, other since Reeves verse focused on more grounded stories in that his threats weren't ppl who derived their powers from some fantastical source. Since this Batman exists in the greater DCU and is already years into his journey, we have access to a wider rogue gallery to choose from. Other than the bat family, i want this Batman to have a certain mystery surrounding him. It shld feel that this version has had a loaded past and that should reflect in his conduct nd how he views the world. I would want the narrative flow to juggle between the present and the past. So that we can get flashbacks into all that has happened in his life before our introduction. But this shld be done strategically. Slowly unravel the elements of his past which have a direct consequence in the present and the ghosts frm his past that he has to confront again. In this way we might also get dick Grayson's intro and his initial adventures with him. My personal approach wld be to introduce Bruce at the end of the Arkham series. Since that is the most hellish part of sn already grim Gotham City. So as an audience, we'd be left with several questions about how exactly Batman ended up in Arkham and we can explore this on his own movie.
1)white eyes 2)more cloth like suit that shows wear and tear 3)worlds 2nd greatest detective (next to detective chimp) 4)nobody is killed by batman 5)animated series batcave complete with dinosaur and giant penny
Honestly it would be cool to see the batcave the way it's designed but if they did they would have to describe it because ppl who don't know the character will look and think it's weird that he has a giant coin, I could see Damian asking the questions the audience would ask
I agree with the idea of Batman being affected by Jason's death honestly the way I see it is batman starts to be more careful with Robin almost to the point of keeping them out of danger and getting aggressive when a criminal points their gun at a young kid and making the Robin suits with more armor covering the body even training them for anything, and maybe Damian could do something reckless and is about to tell him about Jason and walks away and Tim Drake could tell him about Jason and that's why he is the way he is with Damian
Honestly I'm excited for the potential of this. We can get so many things that previous Batman movies have never really done. It'll be interesting to potentially see a wider Bat Family, to see the cave being more over the top, and simply to see how this Batman would fit into the crazier comic book world.
They should really try to do something other than taking after the overly grounded realism of Nolan's movies for a change that leans more into the stylization of the older movies like Burton's again. That is what would really help get me more interested in live-action Batman with the DCU.
*I would love to a healthy fraction of Bruce Wayne/ Batman 's HUGE rogues gallery to be redeemed/ refirmed as heroic allies ,such as Edward Nigma/ The Riddler, Harvey Dent/ Two-Face , and Selina Kyle / Catwoman, while the other rogues remain evil ,such as Jonathan Crane/ Scarecrow, version(s) of Clayface, and The Joker, and even villains we haven't gotten a live action film adaptation like Spellbinder and Maxie Zeus for the brand-new upcoming Batman:The Brave and The Bold DCU film and its potential sequls, **#BobaTalks**!* *Never underestimate the power of redemption!* ;D *I would love to see /hear your thoughts on that,my good man!* 😇😉
100% i NEED Green Lantern: As I was saying, Green Lantern can do anything. Batman: Except shut up, apparently. Green Lantern: Wow, someone forgot to take their True Blood tonight. Batman: I'm not a vampire. Green Lantern: Seriously? I thought it was the darkness and the vanishing, and the, what, super strength? Batman: No. Green Lantern: Can you fly? Batman: In a plane. Green Lantern: Wait, you're not just some guy in a bat costume, are you? Are you freaking kidding me? What, nobody asked you to prom so you now dress as a bat and prowl around your parents' basement?
I like the relationship between Dick and Tim, Dick is an older brother mentor. Tim respects Dick a lot, given his interest in The Flying Grayson as well.
They can pull from the new 52 route to have all the robins while having Bruce relatively young, and even make Bruce become Batman a couple years earlier so maybe 24 instead of 26 perhaps
we need a technologically stronger batman like in the comics, casual fans forget that part Bcs of all the "realistic" and "grounded" movies , Batmans technology in the comics makes him keep up with the league
I would do something like how the son of Batman did it. And have it start out with Talia being chased through Gotham on rooftops by assassins from the league of assassins. Bruce gets wind of something going on intercepts Talia saves her get her to safety and then, either before she dies or passes out, you know she points to Damien and says son this is your father
I agree. Batman is different than Superman. Batman in his prime truly is in his late 30s; he can kick ass in his 40s and be a total detective genius/stealth fighter in his 40s, and that’s not old! We are talking about Batman! Bruce Wayne will die HOT. I like my Batman with true stealth movement where he is so good he uses more intelligence than brawn (even though he can easily), a full-on best detective in the world, a high-tech Batcave, and a Bruce Wayne that is beyond rich, able to logically uphold all of this with some of the Bat Family in it where it’s normal for them to come and go with ease. However, I don’t want anyone living with him other than Alfred, and the Bat Family can come and go in more creative ways in case they are compromised. Given how smart I want my Batman to be, it’s easy for the Bat Family to navigate. The only one who might live there at times is Selina Kyle. I loved parts of their romance, like Batman in "The Long Halloween" or the more recent Emo Batman. They are partners, nothing official since this is the Bat Family, they just know. They all love each other, including Selina Kyle. She doesn’t have to live there all the time, or if she did, it would be known that both of them have enough confidence and understanding between each other that she isn’t a nagging “where is this going” companion. In fact, I would like her to be more trained in intelligence, like by Batman or picking up from him, so she would just know that this is a risk they take with one another because they love each other, making the risk worth it, but they are smart about it. They would be the ultimate male and female Sigmas. I do not want an EMO Batman where my Bruce Wayne cries and lets his house be dilapidated along with a crappy Batcave. I want a full-on mature, always brawny, super intelligent, in his detective prime Batman with the Batman family involved. If they bring in Damian Wayne, then it should be done tastefully. I would love the above Batman with an established relationship with Selina Kyle but in a very stoic way. If I ever see any woman with Batman/Bruce Wayne who nags and tells him to stop and give attention to their “relationship,” I will lose my mind! Any woman, and that’s who Selina Kyle is, already understands fully what it takes to be involved in this unique manner more than anyone else.
Idea for ages. Bruce Wyane graduates high school at 16, drops out of college at 17 and goes to the league of assassins. At 21 he father's Damien and returns to gotham at 23 to start his odyssey. At 26 he takes in a 12 year old Dick Grayson and acts more like a big brother. At 18 Dick leaves to go to school like in batman tas, immediately Bruce takes on Jason Todd. Jason dies a year later when Bruce is 32 and for a year Bruce swears to never have another Robin. However after two years, Tim realizes that Batman has used him as a coping mechanism for the death of Jason and essentially quits. Maybe the movie even starts with Brue and Tim having a fight and Tim storms out of the Batcave. Bruce, having realized that he was a jerk later that evening is shocked to find another 12 year old at his doorstep claiming to be his son. This puts Batman in the scenario where he doesn't want Damien but he has to deal with him and Bruce realizing how he is crazy enough to have put so many children at risk. This would make Batman 35, Dick 21, Tim 17, and Damien 14. It does seem like a very condensed timeline but you have to remeber that Batman is a crazy person and he never allows himself time to breathe so accomplishing so much in 13 years would make sense. My guess though is that Tim will be dropped but who knows.
The dream for me is David Mazouz who played Bruce in the Gotham TV series getting his own Batman movies. The continuity of it would be legendary. Him becoming the main DCU Batman, with Gotham as canon would be incredible. Or they could instead bring back the TV series as Elseworlds, and kick off a TV DC universe with a bunch of other shows - a new Superman TV show, a Wonder Woman show, etc
These are what I want for the bat-family. I say they should make *The Brave & The Bold* a saga instead of a trilogy & give some of the Bat-Family a solo movie & film of their origins & their story leading to the future of the DCU Batman films. Nightwing aka Dick Grayson Red Robin aka Tim Drake Redhood aka Jason Todd Batwoman aka Kate Kane Batwing aka Luke Fox Batgirl aka Cassandra Cain Oracle aka Barbara Gordon
1. He showcases a wide range of emotions that would make him a great Bruce Wayne 2. He already has that Kevin Conroy type of Batman voice which is essential for the animated Batman 3. Perfect age (33) and height (6'2) as contemporaries and would not overshadow David's Superman physique. He'll be 35-36 when Brave and the Bold comes out 4. Looks great in a suit and has this killer eyes/stare matched with his calm demeanor that is only making him more intimidating without trying that much 5. Has a villainous charisma that seems he would make a Batman who doesn't flinch no matter how big or giant a villain he's up against 6. Perfect opportunity to have a sleek, ninja-like batman with techy suits and utilities that will shy him away from the typical brooding Batman like Ben Affleck and Alan Ritchson 7. Would make an amazing pair of young and upcoming handsome actors together with David Corenswet
@@quirob3bashing Alan Ritchson for being “brooding” when he’s never played the character before is pretty fucking stupid. Also Batman should have a physique that almost puts Superman’s to shame, he needs to be able to look menacing even when standing next to the Man of Steel. Also Brandon is 32 currently.
So honestly, if the Batman ends up being as fantastical as we want it to be, I am SO OK with his eyes being completely white, like detective mode in the Arkham series but also emote just like Deadpool in his movies! That’s totally fine because it’s exactly how it is in the comics.
Maybe Oliver and black manta were friends like lex . ....but meet up again as both suicide squad members and were pirates (both on paradise island version?)
A friendly reminder that 'Brandon Sklenar' needs to be the Batman of the DCU. If you've seen 'Yellowstone: 1923' then I'm sure you'll agree with me. Brandon Sklenar would be the perfect Bruce Wayne/Batman. Brandon Sklenar as Batman and David Corenswet as Superman>>>> 🔥🔥🔥
@@quirob3 definitely has the look and his vibes in 1923 its easy too picture what his bruce wayne would loo like and he’s only 32 right now and it seems like 2027-2028 is the likelihood of the movie releasing he’ll be 35-36
I mainly just want to see Robin properly potrayed as the badass he is, he's not a joke hero he's the young apprentice to one of the strongest human heroes in history and should be shown as such in live action. Hopefully Grayson can get that too but I don't want to be too picky. My favorite Dc hero is finally getting a proper shot and I'm sure people who only know him in live action will be very suprised.
Maybe g Morrison's anti life equation inputted on miricle machine (that nth metal , x-element, crafted and powered by colored elements like green too and awakens the anti monitor in one version or maybe Anti monitor again mind manipulated pariah the one who opened in the lore of comics/media
My personal opinion will probably get me a lot of hate or more likely criticism but I’ll say it anyway. I don’t really care for the character of Tim Drake too much and I think he is a very skipable when compared to other Robin’s. So I wouldn’t be mad if they went say Dick Grayson as Nightwing, Barbara as Oracle and Jason as the last Robin before Damien enters the fray. My other opinion which I hope is more widely agreed with is I want the Rebirth Batsuit, purple cape interior and everything. That’s suit imo is peak modern Batman.
I could see with the DCU that they do a Batman Trilogy but they could also do a Nightwing Live-Action TV Series fighting Blockbuster and other criminals in Bludhaven, a Rated R Jason Todd/Red Hood Movie or Series, a Luke Fox/Batwing Movie or Series, a Batman Incorporated Movie or Series, a REAL Birds of Prey Movie or Series with Barbara Gordon/Oracle, Black Canary and Huntress and others.
For years, BATMAN and ROBIN have been called the dynamic duo. How much better would he be, if he team-up with NIGHTWING. Yes, Batman and Nightwing would be a better dynamic duo.
We want all these characters, and the fact is, this is movies and real life..... there's too many Robins to squeeze in to their own films. if we actually want a badass Batman. Look at what James Gunn did with Rocket's flashbacks in one film. We don't need a whole film showing Dick or Jason solo. As long as you get a director who actually knows how to scribe a story, unlike Zack Snyder.... it won't be a problem. You can introduce Jason/Red Hood in a later film as long as the script writer has an idea. Dick Grayson is more important to me. He was Bruce's first son and could be a mentor to Damian.
So when you spoke about how to start the movie and the adaptation of all the Robins, let Gunn take some liberty with the timberline and start it after dick and Tim, and have the first thing we see is the joker beating Jason to death, batman takes him down and puts him in arkham, setting up joker to plot with others from arkham, years pass, and then have him taking down a new villain, going back to the cave, and meeting Damian!
My DCU Batman needs Breakdown Robins Dick,Jason, Tim, Stephanie TMNT style Group Hot take: Batman need to start with 4 robins at the same time I understand it’s different from any thing batman related Relationships Nightwing- hasn’t spoken to Bruce in years over Jason’s Death returns Red Hood- Deceased Osprey (Tim Drake) - stayed with Batman after the Jason death and fell off with Batman and left Bat Girl- Leaves to try and reunite with her biological father 2. Phantasm/Andrea Beaumont Needs to be the love interest throughout the whole Trilogy 3. More Fantasy > Realism Batman works better and more entertaining when people don’t write the realistic version of him 4. The Blue Cowl and Yellow Logo This Batman needs to look completely different from any adaptation of the caped crusader hell in fact let the blue cowl be part of the story and be a personal motivation and a flashback that a young Jason and the robins made the cowl on Christmas and ditches the black cowl in the third act 5. Damian Wayne Enough said.
John cena loves doing random one off stuff have peacekeeper be the guy he’s fighting in the beginning and you can tie that into the next season of peacekeeper
Like it or not they need to scrap brave and the bold. EVERYONE loves Battinson and they need to give him and Matt Reeves everything they need to bring them into the DCU. Gotham can be grounded in this DCU and I think a grounded Batman would fit greatly in a not so grounded DCU.
Maybe (always amazing content u have .... everyone is amazing to ) with supergirl in lanterns and with a female green lantern being maybe that non earthing being and finding out in lanterns like young justice that kandor was saved (there's alternate versions ....maybe kandor was lost and they were investigating the missing city of kandor and scrmmbeled .... Like .... I forget ....and Im happy for everyone meanwhile also info on guardian(s) who saved Kal El and supergirl
The Final Battle of The Brave and The Bold movie needs to show Batman, Damian, Nightwing, Red Robin and Huntress fighting against Dr. Simon Hurt and The Club of Villains.
White eyes will help Bruce to get ready and come out of the suit easily example if a villain attacks while he is in a public place or a meeting no need to apply make up to gear up
I think the best thing to do is follow Damion's character starting when he first arrives.
Hell yeah 😎
Not a bad idea.
That’s… not true tho… Batman didn’t “train for a little bit”, lol, he spent like 10-15 years learning every martial art he could find and spent that time also becoming the best detective that is around.
Finally the Batman we’ve been wanting to hear your take on
Dude, trust me, the amount of growth you can go through as a parent from the ages of 25 to 37/38 is IMMESSURABLE!!
Bruce is 14 years older than Dick; Dick is 6 years older than Jason; Jason is 2-3 years older than Tim
Bruce starts at 24 and at the time of Brave and Hold is 38
Dick is adopted at 12 when Bruce is 26
Dick is Robin at 15 when Bruce is 29
Barbara is Batgirl at 18 when Bruce is 30
Dick joins Teen Titans at 18 when Bruce is 32
Dick leaves Bruce at 20 when Bruce is 34
Jason becomes Robin at 15, when Dick is 21, Bruce is 35
Jason "dies" at 17, Dick is 23, Bruce is 37
Tim becomes Robin at 15, Jason is 18, Dick is 24, Bruce is 38.
This is approximate.
How old would Bruce be when damian comes
@@woeq38
@@augustboyd8458 but this guy is saying that's when Tim becomes robin
I think Gunn will deliver that
@stephfahey1101 Lol fuk most people.
Most people aren't comic fans so their opinions of what Batman she be like don't mean shit.
Pattinsons batman had great fight scenes
I liked Batman fight scene in The Flash tho.
Either that or just regular contact lenses, kinda like Arkhams' Detective Mode.
All good wants, but seeing Damian make his own way to the US and inside the Batcave would be a great way to highlight just how dark and skilled he is. Maybe a side-by-side opening scene of the two working. Tahlia can come looking for him in Act 3.
Reminded me of when bruce returned to gotham after the pit in the dark knight rises
Hey Boba, there is a channel called "The Black Lion" who talks about the DCU a lot, and maybe you might enjoy his channel. IDK just thought to bring it up and recommend.
Thanks for the recommendation.
You might also like TheDCTVshow. He covers all the DCU news too.
I want to see faithful portrayals of Dick Grayson and Barbara Gordon, redemption for the joke movie; Batman & Robin
Same. They should take full influences from "The New Batman Adventures".
Same!
Indeed. By far the best characters in the Bat-family after Batman himself. They’re shinning examples of characters who have really grown and evolved over time. Two of the greatest legacy characters ever created. Hell of a power couple too.
@@davidchittick6783no, they should take influence from Batman the animated series, then from the new Batman adventure.
@@CaptainRockoBD it's the same series, but a different title. The difference is that Dick is Nightwing in The New Adventures.
I think a way we could get to be emotionally attached by the time the Batman movie comes is by making the Arkham series an anthology. Each episode it being a different villain in different stages of Batman’s life all the way to the point of the current timeline. That way we get to see the Batmans journey throughout the season. With even having him wear different suits which would be a great addition to have
opening scene with him flying out batwing going into the sewers to fight Killer Croc
Just please don't do the DCAMU thing and make it just Dick and Damian. All 4 robins, Babs, Cass and Steph. Please, I'm begging
I agree!
I really doubt they’ll have all the Robins and Batgirls. But they’ll definitely have more than just Dick and Damian
i don’t see them bring Stephanie into live action. James Gunn is a big fan of Cassandra tho so we’ll for sure get her
There is a way to do it to make it work with all robins...
Yeah Brandon Sklenar would make a great Bruce Wayne and sleek, ninja-like Batman with technical suits and utilities
You can easily have Batman be between 36 and 38 and have 3 Robin's and 1 or 2 Batgirls in existence when Damien comes in the picture
3 Batgirls
4 Batgirl
Exactly honestly 35 to 38 age range is ideal other only for longevity with the actor but to male most sense
I’m honestly ok if they do something where they cast an actor in their mid-30s and have them play a Bruce who could be in their early 40s. There are plenty of real people who look younger than their age, so why not cast someone who is younger than their character and can actually be in the role for 10+ years.
Why would U want 4 batgirls?@@woeq
My top picks.
1. Brandon Sklenar
2. Tom Bateman
3. Oliver Jackson - Cohen
4. Ethan Peck
5. Alan Ritchson
I agree with your top 2. Either of them would be fantastic
Tom Bateman is my pick but not mad about Brandon sklenar
Tom Bateman is my pick but I wouldn’t mind Brandon sklenar
Batman looks sucked when he was first created his look and batsuit was 🤮
Later on in the dc comics years Batman suit looked more good
And became better
Yes, Brandon would make a great contemporary Batman to David Corenswet's superman
I’d love Cassandra Caine and Damien Wayne.
These characters are quite unknown to the general public and I’d love to see them get the spotlight
Been waiting for this one boba now all we need is the fancasting video lol
Fantastical batman would be incredible. Iron Man style engineering in his cave, loads of incredible tech
Please. Iron-man is copy of Batman
And Batman has vastly superior tech and skills to Stark.
@@dcmastermindfirst9418 I love both characters equally. I'd say the arc reactor is the best tech ever created though
I think it’ll be awesome seeing the batcave for the first time while Damian sees it for the first time it’ll give us a real feel to it
I just want a fire intro song/opening credits like the cartoon.
I feel like the white eyes are necessary for intimidating and interrogating criminals.
@JB-1138 After all, it is a high tech mask as well
Another question, what kind of animation style do u think they are gonna adapt fr creature commandos??? Like DC already has pretty gud experience with animation. So do you expect the DCAMU style? Or anime? Or like what they did with Marvel's What If?
I am just so excited to see a proper dc universe, James Gunn has made some of the best comic book movies of the past 10 years and you can tell he really cares about doing this for DC. I just have a feeling this is gonna usher a new era for DC sort of like the original Superman movies and Batman 89 did.
YES!!! The video I've been waiting for! 😎
18:06 i literally COULD NOT agree more.😊
Since we're gonna get video games canon to the DCU I think it'd be cool to get one touching on the 10 or so years prior to these characters debuting on screen
Yes white eyes magical comic book Batman like real croc and clayface manbat. Huge bane. Like Arkham game look. 🤘🏽🤘🏽
Brandon Sklenar
I think he would be around 33 or 34
I want a fully realized Gotham, with a fully flushed out Bat-Family, with a full pantheon of fun comic-booky Rogues.
We need to see the batman🦇 suit with the yellow around the logo, who else agrees🧐?
My guess is we'll get Arkham in around 2026 and Brave and the Bold on 2027-2028
I want Batpoles to the Batcave.
I'd really like white eyes for Batman. Charlie Cox proved that you don't need to see the eyes through the cowl to pull off a powerful performance.
1)white eyes
2)more cloth like suit that shows wear and tear
3)worlds 2nd greatest detective (next to detective chimp)
4)nobody is killed by batman
5)animated series batcave complete with dinosaur and giant penny
The DCU Batman should use the white sonar eyes like Bale did in The Dark Knight. That's what I would like to see, with the generic suit.
Lovely ideas Boba. I love sharing in this fandom with you.
They should really try to do something other than taking after the overly grounded realism of Nolan's movies for a change that leans more into the stylization of the older movies like Burton's again. That is what would really help get me more interested in live-action Batman with the DCU.
Hey Boba, do you think that Arkham Asylum should be on an island like in the first Arkham game or be situated on the outskirts of Gotham?
*I would love to a healthy fraction of Bruce Wayne/ Batman 's HUGE rogues gallery to be redeemed/ refirmed as heroic allies ,such as Edward Nigma/ The Riddler, Harvey Dent/ Two-Face , and Selina Kyle / Catwoman, while the other rogues remain evil ,such as Jonathan Crane/ Scarecrow, version(s) of Clayface, and The Joker, and even villains we haven't gotten a live action film adaptation like Spellbinder and Maxie Zeus for the brand-new upcoming Batman:The Brave and The Bold DCU film and its potential sequls, **#BobaTalks**!* *Never underestimate the power of redemption!* ;D *I would love to see /hear your thoughts on that,my good man!* 😇😉
100% i NEED
Green Lantern: As I was saying, Green Lantern can do anything.
That's from the new 52 justice league comics I remember
I like the relationship between Dick and Tim, Dick is an older brother mentor. Tim respects Dick a lot, given his interest in The Flying Grayson as well.
It would be great to see several of the Batmobiles and or parts in the cave
Any woman, and that’s who Selina Kyle is, already understands fully what it takes to be involved in this unique manner more than anyone else.
i know she’s not likely to be in dcu but i would love to see stephanie she’s my all time favorite character. even if it’s just a little spoiler cameo
Absolutely NEED the blimps
Love your videos and I love your shirt. Great stuff man 🫡💯
I really hope that Batwoman (Kate Kane ALONE or as Kathy Kane's successor) will be among James Gunn's DCU Batfamily.
Raven said it best Damian may be insufferable be in his heart he's a kind and generous soul
It be lit if he makes cameo in crisis on infinite earths type of event
These are what I want for the bat-family. I say they should make *The Brave & The Bold* a saga instead of a trilogy & give some of the Bat-Family a solo movie & film of their origins & their story leading to the future of the DCU Batman films.
Nightwing aka Dick Grayson
Red Robin aka Tim Drake
Redhood aka Jason Todd
Batwoman aka Kate Kane
Batwing aka Luke Fox
Batgirl aka Cassandra Cain
Oracle aka Barbara Gordon
Finally the DCU Batman video we’ve been waiting on
But yeah this Brandon guy could be quite interesting
1. He showcases a wide range of emotions that would make him a great Bruce Wayne
2. He already has that Kevin Conroy type of Batman voice which is essential for the animated Batman
3. Perfect age (33) and height (6'2) as contemporaries and would not overshadow David's Superman physique. He'll be 35-36 when Brave and the Bold comes out
4. Looks great in a suit and has this killer eyes/stare matched with his calm demeanor that is only making him more intimidating without trying that much
5. Has a villainous charisma that seems he would make a Batman who doesn't flinch no matter how big or giant a villain he's up against
6. Perfect opportunity to have a sleek, ninja-like batman with techy suits and utilities that will shy him away from the typical brooding Batman like Ben Affleck and Alan Ritchson
This will be a good video before bed!
I'm from Brazil. Love the video 👏🏽👏🏽subscribing now
Appreciate that Fernando!
If not Oliver Jackson-Cohen i would be fine wirh Brandon Sklenar
Yeah, I saw a clip of him in 1923 and his demeanor, looks and character overall screams Bruce Wayne
Alan Ritchson for Batman in The Brave and The Bold...
Too big for Bruce Wayne. People of Gotham will easily figure him out as Batman
@@quirob3stop this shit this is a fantastical world not a realistic world
@@quirob3stupid complaint lmao
I want to see Mr.Freeze and Poison Ivy
He was Bruce's first son and could be a mentor to Damian.
when does it drop
I think it's about higj time us DC fans finally get what we deserve
So when you spoke about how to start the movie and the adaptation of all the Robins, let Gunn take some liberty with the timberline and start it after dick and Tim, and have the first thing we see is the joker beating Jason to death, batman takes him down and puts him in arkham, setting up joker to plot with others from arkham, years pass, and then have him taking down a new villain, going back to the cave, and meeting Damian!
1, BATCOW and the other Bat animals
2, No more black body armour proper Batsuit.
3, Frank Quitley film posters.
4, film written by Grant Morrison
My DCU Batman needs Breakdown
Robins
Dick,Jason, Tim, Stephanie TMNT style Group
Hot take: Batman need to start with 4 robins at the same time I understand it’s different from any thing batman related
Relationships
Nightwing- hasn’t spoken to Bruce in years over Jason’s Death returns
Red Hood- Deceased
Osprey (Tim Drake) - stayed with Batman after the Jason death and fell off with Batman and left
Bat Girl- Leaves to try and reunite with her biological father
2. Phantasm/Andrea Beaumont
Needs to be the love interest throughout the whole Trilogy
3. More Fantasy > Realism
Batman works better and more entertaining when people don’t write the realistic version of him
4. The Blue Cowl and Yellow Logo
This Batman needs to look completely different from any adaptation of the caped crusader hell in fact let the blue cowl be part of the story and be a personal motivation and a flashback that a young Jason and the robins made the cowl on Christmas and ditches the black cowl in the third act
5. Damian Wayne
Enough said.
Do the opening of Batman and Son book. Bruce at a musume then Man Bats attack
Maybe share how they tried to save krypton......
Not sure if starting with the entire bat family is a good idea. We'll see. I just want to see the blue and grey suit.
The Final Battle of The Brave and The Bold movie needs to show Batman, Damian, Nightwing, Red Robin and Huntress fighting against Dr. Simon Hurt and The Club of Villains.
White eyes will help Bruce to get ready and come out of the suit easily example if a villain attacks while he is in a public place or a meeting no need to apply make up to gear up
Please cast Brandon Sklenar or Alan Ritchson as Batman!!!
We need to see the blimps
