    I recently bought a new Certate 6000p model and thought the hissing sound at 3:21-3:28 of your video is my reel bring faulty. Thanks for clarifying that it's actually not.

    Definitly a certe sw for me over twin power sw. I somewhat found it is most robust compare to twin power.

      Hi, yeah absolutely! At least the spinning is really light against other reels and felt easy to do jerking on deep sea jigging.

      none, it is the exact same body. only difference is the spool size. 8K body can use 8, 10 &14k spools. (interchangeable)

    do you prefer this or the twinpower?

    • @jpfishingtacklenews195
      @jpfishingtacklenews195  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi! It really depends what you like.. For me I'd prefer TP SW as I am used to use SHIMANO reels but difference is really little, so if you are used with DAIWA reel then this Certate SW could be a good choice.

      HELLO
      Thanks for the nice video.
      Could you tell us what's the small difference between TP and Certate?
      I have the feeling that the line retrieving is smoother with certate but when it comes to drag...I have the feeling that TP is better... am I wrong?
      Thanks

    • @jpfishingtacklenews195
      @jpfishingtacklenews195  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@ziedboudrigua4250 Hi! It's so great to hear that!
      This is all from my opinion, but when you retrieve Certate is slightly lighter than TP, maybe because the rotor is lighter.
      But when you hook fish, I felt TP SW is slightly stronger in torque. Not really sure why, it could just be because the rotor is stronger than ZAION rotor, or could be Infinity Drive. But that is totally which brand you prefer, purely Certate is DAIWA-like, TP is SHIMANO-like.
      Dragwise, I reckon that comes from difference of their drag system. SHIMANO's drag basically gives the even - same tension constantly when fighting.
      Against that, DAIWA's ATD drag system is more automatically changing, like when hooking the drag is stronger, but when fighting I feel it's a bit more loose than SHIMANO's drag, so even if your drag is full-locked, 10kg+ kingfish can drag the line out, although TP wouldn't do that much.

      @@jpfishingtacklenews195 Thanks a lot for your quick and consistent reply...
      Honestly I use both Daiwa and Shimano gears...
      I consider that it depends of the fishing target then it depends of the performances offered by the relevant models of each brand ....
      For example, I preferred Certate lt ark for Sea Bass...
      For Tuna and Big Game, If I skip both Saltiga and Stella, I would go for Twin Power, for the same reasons you already explained. Furthermore, the spool of TP seems to be more robust than the Certate and also the heatsink within Twinpower drag system... gives feeling that it's more robust and it provides more security...

      @jpfishingtacklenews195  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ziedboudrigua4250 Hi, I see! Then if you say about "which is prefer" thing then it'll really depends on what you are after, I understand about your preference, altought I normally use TwinPower XD for seabass fishing but is quite similar to Certate LT. I'd just use TwinPower SW more often for kingfish / amberjack / grouper fishing as you normally tighten the drag and wind them up as quick as possible to prevent linebreak by structures, as they go down to structures as soon as they get hooked, and this is because I feel TPSW is slightly stronger in torque as already explained.
      Certate SW is still really strong as I have described in this movie so should not be worried too much though.
      Heatsink drag on TP/Stella is yes, that's really nice feature that can reduce drag heating really well, although I have just used them for jigging not for tuna type of fishing. I just think SHIMANO's drag locks solid.

    Shimano twin power sw or Daiwa certate sw?

    • @jpfishingtacklenews195
      @jpfishingtacklenews195  28 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Hi, it again depends on your preference and what you are after. I would personally use TP SW for most of type as I feel that's stronger than Certate SW, but Certate rotor is absolutely lighter than TP's, so real easy to stop n go type of reeling action. So, Certate is easier to make action on vertical jigging to me, than TP.
      I would select TP just because I won't only use this for jigging but for variety of fishing.
      However, if you compare to the smaller size like #4000-#6000, there may be the case to select Certate SW.

      @@jpfishingtacklenews195 I’m mainly planning to use 5000 size for shore jigging use but the noise of the rotor and that cheap drag look inside the Certate spool makes me think twice.

      @jpfishingtacklenews195  20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hmm I see. I think it's really important that you love your reel while using, so if you think that way then I think TP can be better choice to you :)
