Hi ! Great video. I have an LX172 and it sputtered and died while mowing. Turn the key and nothing happens … no battery light even when battery is good. Ignition switch or possibly a fuse ?

Hello there. Thank you for the comment. On your tractor the first thing I would do is verify the battery is fully charged and at the proper voltage. Should be 12.4-12.6 volts. Then start using your test light to follow power from the positive of the batter through the system. It could be a fuse. Could also be a faulty ignition or key switch. Also would check your start solenoid as well. Hopefully you won't have to tough of a time tracking it down. Thank you for watching. God bless you

Thank you so much for your reply ! I was taking the mower out for first mow of season and just died after 15 mins. When I started it it was a longer than normal crank. Could be one of the switches like you said as I’m not getting a battery light . Found two fuses and they are good . Thanks !
