Nice vid! I've adjusted a mild burble in MHD but only enabled in sport for 1.5sec and only over 2500rpm's. Much more livable that way. I also have a high flow cat with Fabspeed muffler delete, so it's not nearly as raspy and obnoxious as it would be with no cat. My pops are a much deeper boom.

When you turn traction off and you're already in sports mode, the OEM BMW Exhaust as well as OEM Mini Cooper S and JCW models open completely the valve of the exhaust, so that's why its sound louder and pop-up a lot more. Its kinda like a "track mode"

Coming from an n54 to the n55 myself, I'd highly recommend the n55 if you want to deal with way fewer problems. I've had my m235i for 3 years and haven't done more than standard maintenance with zero issues (although I did change the charge pipe, but that was after 40k miles on stock and it never blew). I've been tuned for almost a year with zero issues as well. In contrast, my n54 was a nightmare.
Save your money for a m240. B58 is the superior platform.
Hey dear Community, is it possible to tune only the exhaust burble without other mapping stuff? So recently I bought a M235xi and I wonder if I can push the burble with mapping but ONLY the burble without other exhaust parts or airflow systems..

Soooo, do we recomend MHD or Bm3? Was thinking about MHD but saw taht you need a seperate xHP flash for the transmission so that added a bit on the already expensive price IMO :p

I don’t like gunshot level loud but I’d want some loud bangs but only in the loudest setting and at 100db max and at redline, I’d want to be able to go into comfort after wards and not hear any burble or pops or bangs

When you say traction control off is the car in sport plus or do you physically turn it off in sport mode by pushing the button?
Nasheel hurdhaw hold the traction control down for about five seconds it turns everything off for traction. This is also how u would do donuts if u wanted to also

Hey, one thing, when you put it on sport + the esc controls are off or Just a part of them? Because when you re in sport + you can put the esc controll off also right
The key question is in what mode the exhaust sounds louder? Sport, sport+, or ESC off. Cuz i heard that if your turn you traction control off it goes to confort mode automatically

If your letting the car shift itself it won’t really backfire as much unless your ripping on it but even then the car shifts around 3500rpms and the pops kinda happen after 3500rpms so that’s why it’s best to keep it in manual so you control the rpms and shifts

you have to flash it again with your adjustments but once you flash your car once, it should only take about a min-min30 to reflash it.

Junior Gramajo yes they come in 6 speed manual or DCT ( dual clutch transmission)
I wish it did man, but it has the ZF8 which is basically as fast. But a proper DCT is always nice
Single clutch but all you really need is a transmission flash, stage 3! Car will shift like a dct

it's recommended but not necessary!
How much did it cost to make it stage 2??
stage 2 would consist usually of Down pipe, intercooler and tune so in total would cost around $1,200 with all the parts listed more or less

each license is vin locked unfortunately so you need to pay the $600 for every car

it's not even legal here but its cool ;p just make your stock mode (in drive only) have a low setting for burbles or none at all and you can go incognito anytime you see a cop just by putting it back into Drive and taking it out of sport.
