Haven't watched the video yet, but don't think it changes my decision to get the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G. It basically improves on everything from my 4 year old Mi9T (except now I will have to deal with a selfie cam on the screen, rip) while ALSO having a micro sd card slot which is an important feature for me. Sucks that high end phones are getting rid of that to make you think you need to get the expensive one with a ton of storage right off the bat.

Phone depreciation isn’t limited to just Samsung. All phones depreciate but for some reason android phones depreciate faster than iPhones. Maybe because android has a bunch of manufacturers and they are constantly innovating versus Apple who just drops one set of iPhones once per year. Who knows. All I know is, snagging the phone at these prices for what it’s still a flagship for another six months is a great deal. Especially if you can find one that hasn’t been scuffed up. Still has warranty for six months minimum and will definitely defeat the purpose of Samsung cheaper offerings unless you need an SD card slot.
Especially when you consider that if you want an iPhone, you still either have to shell out a stupid amount of cash, or get a crappy iPhone from 5 years ago that's either losing support or is no longer supported
Depends on your country. In my country, you can get the new Iphone max 256gb for like $1300, then the next year when there's a new one, you can get it for ~$438. That's a $900 depreciation in about 1 year. Condition is perfectly fine as well. If you're looking for something that's not 99% mint, you can get it for cheaper. Just that a lot of people here constantly buy the newer iphones each year, compared to upgrading their samsung/android each year, so we have a lot of surplus older apple models.

Samsung makes great phones and the S24 series is still top of the line. But, here’s my problem: Samsung still charges way too much for brand new models on their website. And compounding that problem is Samsung offering low trade in values for anything other than a Samsung device. Samsung only offers $200 for my iPhone 13 and while I understand it’s not new, it’s worth much more than that because it’s only a year old and at 98% battery capacity. It’s practically brand new. Both Apple and Motorola offered more and Google did when the Pixels were on sale but now it’s $200 from them too. I’ve only bought one Amazon renewed Samsung and it was the S21 FE which was in great condition but calls to the ear were absolutely not able to be heard and the person I talked to couldn’t hear me. So, I’m skeptical of buying a renewed phone. Kinda thinking about just waiting to see what offers Google has with the Pixel 9 preorders or if they put any of the 8 series on sale. I love Samsung but they need to drop prices and heavily increase trade in values.
I currently use the 23 fe and just like you mentioned 128 is definitely not enough anymore. By the time I download my basic apps, a few games and some pics I'm left with under 10GB at best. I think I'll probably wait until early 2025 so it can drop even more before I make the switch to the s24+

Unfortunately, there's a stigma amongst a certain demographic of buyers where they see used/refurbished phones as illegitimate or abhorrent to purchase. I know some people that'll use broken or budget phones, but will absolutely nover even think about getting a used flagship!
apple makes good phones too, this is for the most part subjective (which phone brand you want) now s24+ definitely is an upgrade over the iphone 13 but it all depends on what your needs and wants are, make sure you do enough research and know what makes these 2 phones different, a lot of people on the internet are biased and you need to keep this in mind, people will say "oh of course xxx phone is better, it has yyy and zzz" but they wont mention as an example what the other phone in the comparison does better since they are biased they clearly do prefer 1 over the other and they wont care about the pros the other phone has, as an example i have an a55 and people said s23 fe is better in every aspect, yeah no, battery and thermals are way worse on the s23 fe, + no micro sd card slot, thicker bezels, 1 year less of OS and security patches, more premium build you know stuff like that now the s23 fe does take clearer pictures, has more camera features, stronger chipset, has wireless charging, has samsung AI features stuff like that but besides that you get my point DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH

No dont just buy a brand new one if you can or buy a excellent condition one renewed phones are often replaced with cheap parts I would rather buy a excellent condition used from a trusted seller
We got the exynos chipset unfortunately in India,so im wondering if i buy s24+ in Usa the warranty will be covered in India too? Like Apple products warranty is covered all over the world regardless of where we buy
Before i like the snapdrago chip, when i got the exynos chip i am very happy long lasting playing with the games, social media, the chip exynos is power than my 8gen2. From now exynos is the best for me. S24 here😊

Got my s24 plus in sandstone orange 250 bucks with trade in .
IT LOOKS SO BEAUTIFUL
No 50% discount for the S24 Ultra? 😢
Waiting for s25 to come out to buy s24 😂
There is no logical reason for scamsung to take out SD cards
I have never bought android phones new, it's always a deal to buy used.
Thats the move 💯
Unfortunately, there's a stigma amongst a certain demographic of buyers where they see used/refurbished phones as illegitimate or abhorrent to purchase.
I know some people that'll use broken or budget phones, but will absolutely nover even think about getting a used flagship!
Ikr I've never understood that mindset but yeah I know exactly what you're saying.
how trustworthy are these refurbished phones btw?
I love your mug, give yourself some credit @TechDaily, another awesome video and quite a tip to saving some money. Thumbs way up from me.
Is it worth upgrading my iPhone 13 to the S24+?
apple makes good phones too, this is for the most part subjective (which phone brand you want)
now s24+ definitely is an upgrade over the iphone 13 but it all depends on what your needs and wants are, make sure you do enough research and know what makes these 2 phones different, a lot of people on the internet are biased and you need to keep this in mind, people will say "oh of course xxx phone is better, it has yyy and zzz" but they wont mention as an example what the other phone in the comparison does better since they are biased they clearly do prefer 1 over the other and they wont care about the pros the other phone has, as an example i have an a55 and people said s23 fe is better in every aspect, yeah no, battery and thermals are way worse on the s23 fe, + no micro sd card slot, thicker bezels, 1 year less of OS and security patches, more premium build you know stuff like that
now the s23 fe does take clearer pictures, has more camera features, stronger chipset, has wireless charging, has samsung AI features stuff like that
but besides that
you get my point
DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH
Cant find the plus for less than 700$ on swappa even tho they say starting 570
You gotta get past all the "promoted" listings. Here a Verizon phone for $485: swappa.com/listing/view/LYHW20792
Here's an unlocked phone for $570: swappa.com/listing/view/LYIC64749
@@TechDaily thanks i guess this is rated good not mint condition
Idk how different that would be but yeah if its good 6 month use its worth 570$
Just got a base model of eBay for 385
I like the small s24
But battery time (Exynos) is terrible. Wont last me a day 😢
Me eyeing on the S24+ or S25+ rn
Everyone don't use Amazon. And swappa is a joke
Tech Daily I need help buy one plus nord 4 5g, how can I get this phone? and price of this phone?
It's because it ain't apple that's why it's always been that way. Everything is worth shit compared to apple but will never buy one period
S24 plus has12 gigs of ram
Note 20 ultra king❤
But I get the same stuff as your Tello offers from Orange for 6 bucks a month, so... u know... f**k Tello :))
I'm a little bit scared of getting renewed phones, a long time ago this was a huge risk, is it still safe?
After all these phone get 7 years security updates
Yes it's safe if you got half a brain and buy from a good seller
Black Friday then?@@camotech1314
@@camotech1314 who exactly will be a 'good seller' in this case? Any advice?
No dont just buy a brand new one if you can or buy a excellent condition one renewed phones are often replaced with cheap parts I would rather buy a excellent condition used from a trusted seller
Get the Ultra
We got the exynos chipset unfortunately in India,so im wondering if i buy s24+ in Usa the warranty will be covered in India too? Like Apple products warranty is covered all over the world regardless of where we buy
Before i like the snapdrago chip, when i got the exynos chip i am very happy long lasting playing with the games, social media, the chip exynos is power than my 8gen2. From now exynos is the best for me.
S24 here😊
S24 plus = s23 ultra
😂 They gotta have too many phones by now not getting sold
They gotta get you to buy them somehow 😅
Can I have that purple wallpaper please
It all about the flip phones now😂
Bout to get me a flip phone too
"1st world country" specials...
That's crazy
What adults plays thèse silly games for virgins ?
For all the european exynos crybabies, i have a 24+ and i've used the S21U as well, both exynos and both do everything you need on a daily basis without problems. For most common users it won't be such a game changer like most people
S24 128GB and Pixel 8 Pro 128GB same price now... Which one to get
Pixel 8 pro ...
S24 for sure
@@manavjaison why?
