wood turning a coaster cup from walnut

this is a coaster cup i'm turning for the coasters i turned last week. I start off with a blank i've previously glued together, its a walnut blank from joinery offcuts. The design is simple its a parallel pot with a slot in the side. I've finished the pot the same way as the coasters, that is wiping on mineral oil.

Sure baby oil is mineral oil...its what the cutting board people use.....its easy to apply, and when the coasters get a cup mark it can be re done. thanks for watching 😀
