Wow, that’s really interesting and a great explanation on how it works. I agree the figure in the first one is better. I wonder what they would look like with wood and colour swirled resin. Thanks for the video, great job.
Robbie superb job, you learn a lot with you again thank you
thanks guy we are all learning from one another :-)
Robbie
Always enjoy when people think outside the box! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼😀
and here i am, a portuguese guy with no particular interest in woodworks, unable to stop watching a 22 minutes video just because it's perfectly done!! Both turning and editing.
That's so awesome Robbie, you are truly a master.
Take care, Carl

Your video has been awhile, but the Saueraker shells are being revived. Your video was timely in helping me get this done, but I must say the procedure on your Blog site really made everything come together and make sense. Thanks again for taking your time to write this out and making the video for all to see. After many years of trying to figure this out you have made sense of it all to me with your great posts.......Thanks!!
Brilliant. I have watched hours of other peoples turnings and this is one of my favourites.
Thanks for taking the time to share. I have no understanding how anyone could give you thumbs down unless it is some kind of jealousy thing

Matt
Thanks Matt Take care,Robbie
Master work. Great job.
Thanks for the complement
Damn, that is so neat.
They both look great! One suggestion, instead of gluing up a board for turning, glue on a thin bit after, of contrasting wood, before the band/scroll saw work, and finish it as a unit. Hide the screw holes, and don't have to separate the screw plate later. I like the first one better, too. But, really they're both very nice.
Good job 👍 Robbie I like
Amazing work !!!
Lei e' bravissimo, un artista. Grazie da Palermo Italia
